Hotel Boutique Ideal in Ischia Town

We had an unforgettable stay at Hotel Ideal in Forio, Italy! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the friendly owners who made us feel right at home. The staff were all kind and attentive, going out of their way to ensure we were comfortable and had everything we needed.

The location is absolutely beautiful, with stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere that made it perfect for a relaxing family getaway. One of the most touching moments was when the hotel staff surprised our three-year-old daughter with a birthday cake—such a thoughtful gesture that truly made her day (and ours!) extra special.

This hotel is more than just a place to stay—it’s a place where you feel genuinely cared for. We highly recommend Hotel Ideal and would love to return in the future!

We had an amazing stay at this hotel! Everything was wonderful – the staff were incredibly kind and helpful, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was so relaxing. The view from the pool was absolutely stunning, and the beach was just a short walk away. The whole place was clean, cozy, and perfect for a peaceful getaway. We would definitely love to come back!

Amazing hotel to stay at, owned by a beautiful couple, run for many years. Great breakfast, peaceful atmosphere, cleanliness on point and as a bonus beautiful garden with two pools, which one of them is a thermal one. The location is wonderful, we tried many beaches around Ischia, but the best one of whole the island is just underneath the hotel. The owners are very caring, picking us up at the ferry, arranging a scooter for us, eager to make reservations in restaurants. Very personal selection of tips about what to do in Ischia. We felt like at home here and definitely going to come back.

Just the best experience with a hotel we've ever had. Paola and Dario are exceptional hosts. They will both go out of their way to make your stay as comfortable as possible. They truly go above and beyond.
The hotel is gorgeous and has all amenities possible. The gardens and pool area were our highlight of the hotel as they are stunning with amazing views.
Location is great as it's very central with plenty of amazing restaurants nearby along with a lovely beach just a 5min walk away. Can't wait to go back.

We spent 8 nights at Hotel Ideal. It was one of the best holidays we've ever been on. Paola and the staff took care of every detail. The hotel is spotless, beautifully appointed and has the most lovely garden. The pool and mineral spring are perfect. The food and service superb! Serenity at it's best!

This was our third trip to Hotel Ideal because we love it so much. Wonderful, peaceful location and stunning gardens and pools but what makes this hotel so fantastic is the lovely staff and service we receive, it’s like staying with friends in an island paradise and they go out of their way to make us feel welcome and help us with anything that we may need. Also, the food is absolutely fantastic! When we stay at Hotel Ideal we don’t even bother going to any other restaurant on the island as the hotel’s food is top notch. Thank you Paola and team, we will definitely be back again next year!

What an oasis! This was my first visit, but my in-laws have been to Ischia 6 times and keep coming back to hotel ideal because it is so amazing.

What makes this place special:
1. large property with lush botanical gardens that you can lounge in
2. The hotel ideal team treats you like a family
3. In additional to a regular pool there is a hot pool with natural thermal waters right on the property.
4. An excellent chef and a great menu, as well as a lovely breakfast spread in the mornings
5. Walking distance from thermal parks, the ocean, great restaurants, and Forio

You simply cannot go wrong here!
