Hotel Boutique Ideal in Ischia Town

Our stay at Hotel Ideal was truly unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, Paula and Dario made us feel completely at home with their genuine warmth and thoughtful attention to every detail. Their hospitality created such a welcoming, family atmosphere that made the experience feel far more personal and special than a typical hotel stay.
The hotel itself is peaceful, beautifully maintained, and perfectly located for enjoying the beauty of Ischia. The rooms were spotless and comfortable, and every part of the property reflected care, pride, and authenticity.
A special mention also goes to the wonderful staff, who were always attentive, kind, and hardworking throughout our stay. From the amazing breakfasts each morning to their constant help with daily needs and every little detail around the hotel, their friendliness and dedication made a lasting impression and added so much to the overall experience.
One of the highlights of our stay was the incredible family-style dinners each evening. Every meal was fresh, authentic, and absolutely delicious. Sharing dinner together created a warm and memorable atmosphere that we looked forward to every night. The wine from the family estate was exceptional and added an extra personal touch that truly reflected the heart, tradition, and spirit of the island.
Paula and Dario have created something truly special at Hotel Ideal. If you are looking for authentic hospitality, amazing food and wine, and a relaxing stay in Ischia, this is a place you will never forget. We cannot wait to return.

Loved our stay. Impeccable service from picking us up and dropping us off at the ferry.
The room and the general facilities were 10/10 and you could feel it is family run throughout with lots of great touches.

Such lovely family hotel full of warmth, care & attentive service. We spent 4 nights with Paola, Dario & the wonderful staff at the end of our Ischia holiday. We loved the beautiful gardens & the pool area. Our newly renovated family room was large enough to accommodate 5 of us (3 kids under 8), constantly chilled (AC 🙌🏼) & beautifully designed. The location is great, a few mins drive from Forio & a walk to the beach + a number of local restaurants.

Our kids became friends with both the staff & the clientele, making our trip even more enjoyable.

We had a wonderful 7 day stay in this lovely family run hotel. The beautiful gardens and pool area were extremely relaxing and well maintained. Paola was so facilitating when we had to cancel and rebook at short notice due to a family illness. All staff were friendly, extremely helpful and always happy to advise on gluten free options. Location was perfect with either a gentle 20 min walk into Forio or access nearby to the local bus. The lack of a full length mirror and slightly more wardrobe space are the only things that prevented a 5 star review for our lovely room with terrific sea views. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel for a stay in Forio.

This is such a lovely and special hotel. Owners Dario and Paola are very kind, helpful and you can tell they care deeply that their guest have an amazing stay. Dario picked us up from Forio Port with our luggage and gave us great suggestions for what to do around the island. We ate the majority of our meals at the hotel and the chef is amazing, serving specialties from the area with a set menu for dinner that was very reasonably priced. A small but beautiful beach is a 7 min walk and Forio was a 15 min walk along the water.

All the staff were very friendly and spoke English. Whatever we needed, bus tickets, a beach umbrella, recommendations, the front desk was able to provide. The patio and garden is also beautiful and perfect for an apertivo. Our room was recently renovated with beautiful tiling and we had a large patio with a stunning view.

We loved Ischia and would without a doubt stay at Hotel Boutique Ideal again next time we come. Thank you Dario and Paula, looking forward to next time in paradise!

We had an unforgettable stay at Hotel Ideal in Forio, Italy! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the friendly owners who made us feel right at home. The staff were all kind and attentive, going out of their way to ensure we were comfortable and had everything we needed.

The location is absolutely beautiful, with stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere that made it perfect for a relaxing family getaway. One of the most touching moments was when the hotel staff surprised our three-year-old daughter with a birthday cake—such a thoughtful gesture that truly made her day (and ours!) extra special.

This hotel is more than just a place to stay—it’s a place where you feel genuinely cared for. We highly recommend Hotel Ideal and would love to return in the future!

We had an amazing stay at this hotel! Everything was wonderful – the staff were incredibly kind and helpful, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was so relaxing. The view from the pool was absolutely stunning, and the beach was just a short walk away. The whole place was clean, cozy, and perfect for a peaceful getaway. We would definitely love to come back!

Amazing hotel to stay at, owned by a beautiful couple, run for many years. Great breakfast, peaceful atmosphere, cleanliness on point and as a bonus beautiful garden with two pools, which one of them is a thermal one. The location is wonderful, we tried many beaches around Ischia, but the best one of whole the island is just underneath the hotel. The owners are very caring, picking us up at the ferry, arranging a scooter for us, eager to make reservations in restaurants. Very personal selection of tips about what to do in Ischia. We felt like at home here and definitely going to come back.

Absolutely fabulous!
