Hotel Parco Smeraldo Terme & Residence in Ischia Town

Highly recommend this wonderful hotel. The staff were all so friendly, helpful, professional. The breakfast was excellent and drinks we enjoyed were awesome. This is a perfect location, you can walk along a sidewalk that runs parallel to beach where there are many great restaurants to choose from. This hotel deserves 5 stars!

From the moment we arrived at Hotel Parco Smeraldo Terme, we were impressed by the warmth, professionalism, and genuine care of the entire team. Every detail of our stay was made special by the people here. A heartfelt thank you to Maria at the spa for my wonderful natural mud treatments and to her colleagues Brigitte, Giacomo, Manuela, Lucia, and another lovely therapist whose name I unfortunately can’t recall. Their kindness and expertise made each visit a pleasure. Vincenzo and the entire restaurant and bar team deserve special mention for their attentive and friendly service. The reception team was always careful, attentive, and available to offer helpful advice on good restaurants and activities, which added great value to our stay. The hotel’s amenities are outstanding. Having direct access to a private beach, with umbrellas spaced far enough apart to give a true sense of privacy and relaxation, was a real luxury. Special thanks to Ciro, a true action-man who oversees the beach with professionalism and a smile. The location is perfect: close to Nitrodi, the most ancient SpA in the world, and with the option of taking a charming small boat taxi directly from the beach to the beautiful, iconic village of Sant’Angelo d’Ischia. Between the idyllic setting, excellent spa treatments, pristine beach, and world-class service, Hotel Parco Smeraldo Terme offers an unforgettable experience. I look forward to returning!

Fantastic staff, welcoming, friendly and offering great service. Food, wine and drinks were very good. Beautiful flowers and herbs all around, and nice spaces to chill in the shadow when needed. The layout of the hotel made the shared spaces distributed across several smaller areas, creating a calm, ‘private’ atmosphere. Clean & comfortable. Hotel private beach 5 meter walk from the hotel pool. The spa treatment -I recommend askinh for Miriam and do a facial. She has magic hands and such a nice aura, best facial I ever had. Chose the Wine treatmemt, my sister did the Champagne, we both felt pure bliss and it was so relaxing that we both dozed off a couple of times during the treatment. Tip the staff, they all share I was told. 10 min taxi boat from the beach at 5 Euro one way per person, 10 after 7.00 pm to Sant Angelo, offering great (and expensive) shopping and excellent restaurants. Would go back any time!

Classic Italian retreat. Fab food, on the beach with lovely pool too. Loads of local trattoria on the beach as well. Staff are superstars...always ready to help. Maria in the thermal spa is a true magician with treatments and massage. Go!Now!

We visited Ischia and stayed here for 6 nights. The staff was wonderful and took excellent care of us. Special shout out to Vincenzo at the bar for fantastic drinks and great conversations. The rooms and facilities were top notch and we enjoyed the pools, the beach club and the lobby/patio for drinks. The hotel is a short walk from the #5 bus that takes you around the island, and a water taxi that can take you to the charming village of Sant Angelo. Breakfast was tasty and filling, and again, the staff was wonderful - they even remembered our coffee preferences and would bring them without delay. There were several restaurants nearby, all offering beautiful water views and excellent meals. If you're considering a visit, don't hesitate!

Situated on the lovely Maronti Beach, Ischia. Family run for 60 years, the Hotel enjoys fabulous views and has the most attentive staff, and a lovely well maintained garden, with areas of cool shade and a fabulous outdoor thermal swimming pool. The Rooms are spacious and comfortable , Traditional Italian breakfast with great coffee. Evening meal available at reasonable cost or you can eat at the many beachside restaurants. There is an amazing Thermal Spa, with volcanic mud facials [complimentary for ladies on first day] or whole body treatments [with medical supervision] and a range of massage treatments available, with indoor Spa pool and areas to relax. This is extra but well worth the cost and effort. Hotel has a private beach area with loungers and umbrellas, and a very helpful lifeguard. Lovely sea temperature, but beach is hot even in May, and has a fine grit rather than sand composition ... so remember beach shoes!! Water taxis to other locations at low cost. The vibe is quiet , Traditional, relaxed, restorative. Possibly too quiet for young families? We had four days but could have stayed another week

"Hotel Parco Smeraldo Terme" is located on "Spiaggia dei Maronti", one of the most enchanting places in Ischia. It is perfect for a relaxing holiday in a stunning place. The thermal pools are pure paradise, and the garden is fabulous. The meals are just delicious. There's always an atmosphere of charm and comfort. But "the icing on the cake" is the wonderful staff! Always available, caring, dedicate and extremely professional. I will always carry Ischia and this enchanting hotel in my heart.

This hotel is beautiful and the staff were incredibly kind. The breakfast was delicious, and our room was quite spacious. The thermal pool was fantastic- I was so relaxed! The private beach area was nice, but be warned there are some solicitors that approach you here. I would definitely come back here! There are several restaurants nearby that are also delicious!

We stayed at the hotel for 4 nights - meant to be a relaxing end to a city tour. We initially planned to stay at one of the apartments, but they were a bit too far (not a very far walk, but past several restaurants, and far enough that it's inconvenient if you want to have more accessibility to the hotel and facilities), and ended up switching to side-by-side rooms in the main hotel. The apartment rooms, based on what we saw during our initial check in, were also not as cared for as the rooms in the main hotel.
The 5 stars is based on the main hotel and the staff. In our experience, the hotel itself tries to be family friendly (turtle pond and kids lunch menu); however, the clientele are all older/elderly and as the hotel staff mentions, are very particular about having kids near them. In our experience, the hotel is better situated for older kids (12+). Would not recommend for families with younger children - the experience with the other guests definitely took away from our time there.
