I recently returned from a four night stay at San Michele Hotel & Spa in Sant’Angelo, and I honestly can’t stop thinking about it. It absolutely exceeded every expectation.
The staff were some of the kindest and most attentive people I’ve ever met while traveling. Everyone, from the front desk to the restaurant and spa, greeted me with genuine warmth. They always went out of their way to make me feel comfortable — offering local tips, helping with transportation. My room was spotless, bright, and beautifully decorated with traditional Italian tiles and light coastal colors. It felt both elegant and cozy, and the private balcony overlooking the bay was my favorite spot to be at sunset. The food was fantastic, fresh, flavorful, and authentically Italian. Breakfast spread full of local pastries and fruit to the beautifully prepared dinners featuring fresh seafood and homemade pasta. Located in Sant’Angelo, is ideal if you’re looking for peace and beauty. It’s a quiet, car-free village with charming shops, lovely cafes, and a relaxed, authentic atmosphere. The short walk up to the hotel was breath taking for the serenity and the views that awaited me at the top. Thank you to Antonio and the staff at San Michele for a memorable trip!

We had the absolute most wonderful time at this hotel. It started with the warmest welcome we got from.Ivan at the reception desk. He was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and after a long day journey made us feel like we had found our home. His recommendations for restaurants were excellent and his ability to help us with anything and everything we needed was above and beyond the food was delicious. The breakfasts were plentiful and fresh. Everyone on the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful in anyway that they could be. The rooms were incredibly charming and the views spectacular. It was just a short walk into town, which was so close and easy. Also.Antonio and Giuseppe We’re so friendly and went over the top to make sure our needs were met and that we were always happy and enjoying our stay. It truly was the staff here that started and finished a wonderful day. Would love to go back!

We had a really nice stay at this hotel. Beautiful room, warm thermapool, the view was breathtaking and wonderful staff! The only thing they can be better at is the breakfast, with more warm options specially for the vegetarians. But I can highely recommend this hotel.

Wonderful stay in paradise! Highly recommend this beautiful hotel with wonderful staff. Fantastic rooms, garden and pool as well. The staff is very friendly and helpful. It really shows that the staff goes above to make your stay as pleasant and comfortable as possible. Will definitely stay at this hotel when returning to Ischia.
