Hotels on first line in Ischia Town

There is free transportation that takes and takes from the sea!!But the hotel does not have its own beach!! Price for umbrella suslonova 15-25evro!! Among the shortcomings of the room itself ,of course not? MD 209! The view from the window to nowhere,the wall,although the room is located on the 2nd floor! Entertainment: disco on Thursday,Saturday and Sunday

We are a younger couple and absolutely loved it. Great selection of thermal baths and areas to relax. Beach is 5 min walk, lots of quality sea food restaurants walking distance. Would definitely go again.

I would have to say this is the best break I’ve had in quite a few years and I take quite a few each year. Vincenza in reception and the staff at the bar by the pool are exceptional

30 as the kitchen closed It was cheaper to drink cocktails than vodka and tonics The owner made his presence every day and night in the restaurant There was a bus to take you town to the beach but it was quite expensive Having been in ischia town before I really wish we had gone there again just due to the proximity of all the shops and bars It was a relaxing holiday

Relaxing , friendly , pristine. work and pleasure and I’d have to say this was definitely a nice surprise. I was with my son and his young family. The staff are so genuinely lovely

Great location, also a very good hotel, even when it was fully booked there were enough sunbeds at the pool and on the beach. The service is very good, from the reception desk over the waiters to room service

Both breakfast and dinner were excellent, with well-prepared dishes served in a calm, comfortable setting. We really enjoyed the pools, especially the indoor one: spacious and relaxing

The private beach is small but pleasant. The staff across the hotel were consistently professional, and every time we made a request at the front desk, there was clear follow-up

We went ať the end of Oktober and sea was still ok for a swim

Two little drawbacks: the main pool needs a bit repair work and cleaning, the breakfast buffet could vary a bit more

Wonderful place, the hotel rooms are mixed with gardens which makes the stay very relaxing! Everyone was kind and helpful, breakfast mostly sweets, definitely take half board, the dinners were extraordinary! Forio is 30mins walk

The hotel is situated in a best strategic place between main street and sea. Outside pool with thermal water, and inside the hotel is termal spa. I recommand for people who want to rest and charging inner batteries

Staff very helpful and friendly. Antonio pool attendant couldn't do enough for you! Food very Italian excellent especially fish courses. The rooms I would say were more 3* than 4* but kept very clean

This was our second time in two years. The rooms were very good with comfortable beds. This year we had great views of the sea

The main waiter at breakfast twice seated us at the worst table at back away from windows, we had to insist on a different table on third day

The pool and spas were nice and the beach pier quite rustic

The suite was gorgeous. The thermal pools were delightful as was the staff. The dinner was delicious and so was breakfast. We loved walking down to the ocean and swimming off the dock. The views were incredible!

What a beautiful island resort! We were there September 2025 and the weather and environment was fantastic! The room was spacious and offered a breathtaking ocean view! They also have a sundeck platform that extends into the ocean

This was our second visit to Ischia Island—last year we stayed in Ischia town centre. This hotel is absolutely beautiful; the grounds are well maintained, and it has a friendly, quintessentially Italian feel

This hotel is in the perfect location set above Ischia port with views over Procida, the mainland and Vesuvius. Yes you'll have a 10-15 minute walk into town but it's worth every step

On reception Joe and Anna could not do enough to share local knowledge and help me organise my week. Anna helped me plan a walk up Mt Epomeo and Joe guided me to a coastal morning run

Miramare e Castello is in a stunning location right on the water, with truly breathtaking views! The area is perfect — close to fantastic restaurants and great shopping

The hotel itself is very clean and smells great!

Great boutique hotel overlooking the castle. I have been staying here many times with family events hosted. The staff and warmth is always amazing

Eat at Lampara! Best meal we had on the island. View is stunning too. Hotel staff are amazing. Location is unreal. Only knock was the mattresses are in need of replacement (felt a bit like lying on a box spring.

The hotel bar was such a fun spot, and Bar Manager Geraldo and pianist Pepe made us feel completely at home

This was a great hotel with an unbelievable staff. The location was right on the water and near the Castle therefore plenty of options for dinner and site seeing. The room was great and breakfast each day was enjoyable

This magnificent hotel is on a cliffhanger where you get breathtaking views over the sea having access directly into the sea just just stepping off and on a ladder and a choice of two pools very individual to one another

Hotel is beautiful, its facing the sea , rooms are really clean, drinks are great and selection is good, the one thing that truly makes this hotel is the service, truly remarkable and of you have been to italy before its sometimes good or terribly bad! The staff were all very friendly and professional. We really enjoyed breakfast it was delicious and again breakfast with a sea view is just a great start to the day We had a beautiful room and were very comfortable

It really exceeded my expectations. On arrival I was blown away by just how beautiful this hotel is and the grounds and views. It is immaculate and very well kept. So relaxed, clean, the views of the sea are lovely

Our friends who had the next level of pricing they had it and they also got free water daily, i didn’t and i was not having the cheapest room as it was a sea view room

Also the sea view i paid for was let’s say almost there if we take in consideration that was a bit visible through the trees

The 10 pools (8 thermal) were excellent but we were disappointed to find out our 7 and 9yr olds could not go into the thermal pools so were limited to 2 pools and the sea

Great to have our own reserved sunbeds by the pool, and to be able to swim and snorkel on the private beach. Almost all the staff were polite and friendly, and went out of their way to be helpful

One note - it’s a large property and requires lots of walking and steps/stairs. You can rent towels for the pools, and they will assign you sunbeds for the duration of your stay so they belong to you

The pools were spectacular and the views were incredible! The snack bar staff and front desk staff were very kind and helpful. It was a little difficult to find people to help with luggage and spa services.

Our sheets had stains 😭 but the bus was close and the food was accessible. The beach was kinda rough but it was enjoyable

A thermal area with a sauna and a swimming pool can replace going to thermal parks, since it is essentially the same, but there are a lot of pools, as well as people

The food is wonderful, both breakfast and dinner and the terrace off the bar is simply magical with a lovely view. The beach attached to the hotel was great and the terme was a real treat

Absolutely perfect! The rooms are super clean, the view is spectacular. There is a buffet breakfast in the morning that is perfect. America the owner makes sure everything is looked after

He shuttles us back and forth where ever we wanted to go. There is a restaurant Casereccia very close that has the best menu ever. Couldn't ask for a better place to stay

The outdoor pool is really beautiful, with a very welcoming bar area, and is a pleasant place to relax during hot days if you choose not to go to the beach

However, tables were not cleared or set, and you often had to search for cutlery etc. The hotel itself was clean, as was the pool area. the spa facilities were lovely and relaxing

There was a great pool bar with the most friendly lady serving drinks/coffes/food. The garden was lovely and well kept. In front of the hotel was another large garden and bar area for the evening

This worked for me but I witnessed other foreigners struggling with the lack of foreign languages being actively used. The towel for the pool had to be paid for (€5) which I found unusual

The only downside is that the pool and private beach weren’t available during my stay since I visited in the off-season. But everything else was perfect!

I’m honestly surprised by the negative reviews—this hotel absolutely deserves 5 stars. Everything was spotless, my room had all the essentials like a fridge, TV, hairdryer, and even a private terrace

For the value for money there is no better on the island. Beautiful, clean and comfortable room. Full board with really good and satisfying meals. Nice and quiet staff, great location

I have heard people at the reception complaining about absurd things and with the same assumptions I assure that 90% of the negative reviews you read are absurd, so don't trust too much

I have read too many unfairly negative reviews for this I wanted to review and recommend everyone to stay in this hotel giving top marks

Among the staff there was one who was very unpleasant, I had booked a room with a terrace or balcony I found myself in a hole with a very small window, as a positive instead there was some nice and helpful staff then the food even if repeated was good, in the room there was air conditioning, the room was disinfected every day, but only on the floor and towels

30 years ago, it was a stately and impressive 5-star hotel with generous common areas, beautiful restaurants, impressive spa facilities, a large indoor hot water pool and a lovely, wonderfully heated, great swimming pool in the garden, as well as an inviting roof terrace with sea views

There are still the beautiful surroundings, but the hotel is strongly characterized by an incompetent and uncommitted management, who are indifferent to the unprofessional reception, where the guests' inquiries are annoying interruptions and inconvenience

I experienced the phone on the room rang several times during midle of the night- they said it was a fail in the telephone system- but it also happened to other travellors

The food in the evening wasn´t the quality i expected: vegetables or sallad almost wasn't represented. Last evening there was musical entertainment at dinner

In addition, there are so many places where you could improve the guests' experience of the place very significantly with small funds and a targeted effort

I found the hotels bathing deck just a short walk from the hotel to be a bit cooler with sunbeds always available. There is a bar serving food here as well as the pool bar

There was a nice large wardrobe in the entry area with a safe, and a good sized bathroom. The hotel grounds are beautiful and well kept, with a large pool with no issues with getting a sunbed at any time

Everyone working at La Villarosa is excellent shout out to Marina she is wonderful they all are, oh and the rates cannot be beat for a hotel with so much character and charm! The food, as you would imagine an Italian Mama's to be, served in a glass rooftop room with a beautiful view of the sea. I am gluten free and nothing was too much trouble for me to enjoy the experience

What a lovely vintage hotel ! There were lots of places to hang out. The warm thermal pool surrounded by a lush tropical garden was beautiful. The staff service was impeccable

Hotel La Villarosa Terme is a real gem! Location is perfect everything you need or need to get to right outside front door. The hotel is a beautiful old and quirky hotel tons and tons of real old world charm

I was reading some of the past reviews where the lack of wifi is mentioned. this is not and should not be an issue this is a hotel were you go to escape for a bit

If you stay here you should try the bruschetta with a nice aperol spritz at the pool, it is delicious!

I don't speak Italian but that never got in the way of friendly conversations. There is a garden, outdoor and indoor pool, hot tub, steam room Turkish bath and cold shower

A little dated but I think that adds to the charm. 2 minutes walk to the beach, restaurants, shops and il fungo. The staff were very accommodating and welcoming

Fantastic hotel, the private beach area is relaxing, and the spa treatments are excellent. Nearby plenty of restaurants and the bus stop to see other parts of the island is just outside the entrance

Amazing hotel on ischia Excellent experience. The rooms are quiet and very clean as well as well appointed. The private beach and beach club are why I chose this hotel and were a huge benefit

But through creative use of rocks and grottoes, there are places to relax (even a hammock), snorkel and swim. Sea Kayaks for the adventurous. From the smallest child to the older crowd, there was something at the beach

Parking our scooters? Super easy, right outside the hotel! A big shoutout to the cleaning staff – I’ve never met such cheerful people! There was a bit of a language barrier, but you didn’t need words to see how sweet and kind-hearted they were

Spent 5 nights here in July after an amazing week at a resort in Forio. I was worried Hotel Don Felipe wouldn’t measure up, but wow, was I wrong! The view? Absolutely jaw-dropping
