B&B Eco in Pompei

This was a fabulous place to stay, Gino was brilliant as a host. This is a fantastic base to explore Pompeii, Naples and so many other places. We stayed here on 14th October for 3 nights. We literally booked a last minute break on the Sunday and flew out 2 days later. I read the reviews for this place and it sounded ideal, it was mid range in price and it was so much better than we had hoped for! From the minute we booked, Gino was easy to contact, he was great at helping us figure out the best ways for us to travel from the airport to the B & B. Our room was huge but also cosy, very clean. The bathroom was very clean, basic, with everything that you need for a short break. We had an amazing balcony, with a fab view of the street. It was lovely to be able to sit here and enjoy a drink and rest after so much walking! We were about a 5 minute walk from the archaeological site of Pompeii, 5 minutes from two different train services, plenty of places to eat and drink. The rooms don't have tea and coffee making facilities but there is a communal kitchen where you can use the coffee machine or make a tea. There are snacks for a small charge and in our room there was a fridge with water, beer that you could have for a small charge ( cheaper than the shops). Breakfast here is downstairs in a small café, you get a coffee and a pastry. The pastries were freshly baked and so good. I had freshly squeezed orange juice which was really good! Unfortunately, I don't drink coffee but my boyfriend said it was as amazing as you would expect Italian coffee to be! The weather wasnt the best for us, it rained for two days of our stay, however that didn't stop us from having the most amazing time here and visiting so many sites. The local trains and metro are easy and affordable to use. We will definitely be returning to stay with Gino and I would highly recommend.

A great place to stay!!! Gino was SO accommodating!! We were late for our check in time but he still graciously came to pick us up at the parking lot where we left our car. Gino also helped carry our luggage up and down as well. The room was spacious, clean and well equipped. Very comfortable bed. He helped with recommendations for excellent places to have dinner as well. The hotel itself is SO well situated. Close to the train station, the archeological site of Pompeii as well as the Sanctuary of the Virgin Mary of the Rosary (a must see as well). It is also located walking distance to so many restaurants and bars. I would highly recommend a stay here to really get an idea of the life in Pompeii. Thank you for making our 2 day stay so wonderful!!!

Excellent b&b. Very central and in walking distance to the Pompeii ruins. The owner greeted us on arrival and was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend a stay in this very well-kept and comfortable hotel.

This is a great b&b, staff are friendly and helpful. Fantastic location, nice and clean and great restaurants nearby. We had a room with a double bed and single bed for 1 child, plenty of space and lovely balcony. Highly recommend. Coffee and snacks available in the b&b, you are given a token to get breakfast next door at a little coffee shop. Plenty of choice.

We have been visiting this B & B for many years now, maybe 10/15 years. The hosts Gino & Annamaria are amazing. Extremely attentive, friendly and kind. Nothing is too much trouble for them to organise. I have recommended you to friends and family in England and Italy, and as a result, my family members have also visited. The B & B is immaculate, and of extremely high standard. The B & B is very central to transport links, and the city centre, including the main archaeological sites. Great bars and restaurants, not forgetting Gelateria 5 mins walk. We will always return to your B & B, as we LOVE it here. See you next year!!!!!! Buon fortunato. Luigi/Joanne & family. We stayed at B&B Eco in Pompei, and it was a wonderful experience. B&B Eco is just a short walk from the pompei station and the bus, making Naples or Salerno easy to reach. Sorrento is also accessible via L3 to Scavi station, and the Pompei ruins are very close. The streets around are full of pubs,shops and restaurants, lively yet the room was calm, clean, and fully equipped. The city’s atmosphere is unforgettable. Gino is welcoming, generous, smiling, and helpful, which made our stay even more pleasant. The B&B is perfectly located cleqn confortable for enjoying Pompei and southern Italy.

Nice place. Rooms was spacious quiet and clean. Close to the ruins. The proprietor, Gino, was happy, kind and helpful. The breakfast was served in an outdoor cafe below the b&b . It consisted of one croissant and one cup of coffee. Way below the standards of other places I’ve stayed.

Gino (the owner) was incredible. Super helpful getting us around town and planning things in and around the area. He knew so much and was so so kind to us. The place was amazing and very clean and welcoming and in a great area. Very central to everything. It was easy to make a plan to get around because Gino consistent gave us great advice and helped us plan our trip better!!
