Hotel Labrador in Cattolica

The room I stayed in did not have a shower cabin. The jet of water went everywhere given the tiny size of the bathroom, so it was really difficult to shower. After the same the bathroom was completely flooded and unusable. Courtesy set not distributed daily. Outdated furniture and fixtures. These factors are not very suitable for a three-star hotel.

We stayed for 4 days in this hotel with my family and 3 granddaughters in 2 hotel rooms.
Leaving aside the availability, courtesy and kindness of the owners that I take for granted when working in the hotel and restaurant sector.
I review my (our) stay and ... In short, I think it took little more to do better.

Parking is there in the hotel, in the courtyard and in an adjacent garage. If you have the possibility, in the garage you will be more free and independent to take the car at your leisure, otherwise in the courtyard of the hotel, it will be parked by the owner and you will have to leave him the keys, so as to manage the parking spaces. If by chance you need it, you will have to move the cars lined up to access yours.
Here, having a large car (c4 Grand Picasso) the remaining space at the pedestrian crossing of the kitchen employees was quite limited and without pointing the finger at anyone, I take home a series of lines on the bodywork that before arriving in hotel I didn't have. (I washed and dried the car personally by hand 300 km before)

The breakfast is almost 4 stars, there are fresh croissants and mini donuts, cakes and muffins, cereals and fruit juices, and there is no shortage of eggs, bread, salami, ham and cheese.

The only important drawback to point out: the automatic coffee and cappuccino machine, probably incorrectly calibrated, left more hot water than product, the result was 2 times undrinkable coffee and cappuccinos, so much so that they were forced to take cappuccinos for a fee in the hotel bar.

Excellent children's area in the hall, where parents can breathe a sigh of relief, as there are many games available for children;

The facility is dated but I knew what I was booking so it is overlooked.

The room to be cleaned was clean, the problem was the many too many small inconveniences ..
1 the double bed had 2 singles pushed together;
2 the cleaning ladies, although effective in cleaning the room, never added shampoo or soap, despite the evidence that they were missing;
3 when the bathroom door was closed, the room door opened.
4 despite everything being clean, there was dog hair on the curtains (I put down the suitcase by chance and the dog's hair got stuck, and we have no dogs neither on vacation nor at home)

Quiet and efficient air conditioning included in the half board price; ok!

Dinner: dinner was enough, we "folded" everyone on their children's menu so as not to go hungry ... vegetables among the 2 main first courses ...

We perceived the full willingness of the kitchen to save.

In short, in our stay we removed 1 day of stay due to rain, and the owners were corrected to make me pay one day less, against their interest. (He could have charged me for the entire stay as per booking, so that's good people).

The thing that did not go down is the lack of an invoice, of any ticket showing the various costs ... I was told to pay tot, I paid with an ATM, and the only receipt I have left is the receipt of the ATM transaction.

I had chosen this place for our little holidays 2021, and reading the reviews I was convinced of this structure, but I'm sorry to say that the reviews refer to the charisma, friendliness, smile and kindness of the owners.

We are country people, without stink under the nose, but it is not only with kindness and courtesy that customers are satisfied.

Nice, good, helpful, and all smiling, the opposite cannot be said, but the other things must be reviewed absolutely.
