The hotel is perfect located but the rooms are very small and need urgently a renovation. The bathroom is so small you can even not sit normal on the toilet. Everything in the room is very old and need urgently an upgrade.

This hotel is located in downtown Modena, very close to the train station, and surrounded by many restaurants, making it the best place to experience Italian style. I recommend staying here when visiting Modena.

The location worked well for me, in between the train station and the "city center".
My room was fairly large but the bathroom was "cramped" and the bide was kind of in the way all the time. -there was some street noise in my room.
The person that checked me in and out was not very friendly and tried to charged me for the room a second time as I was checking out. -the guy working in the reception in the evening was very friendly and helpful when I asked for help to find a restaurant that served Cotoletta....

We booked a family room at Hotel Europa, but instead were given separate rooms — and even accommodated in a different hotel nearby. This was not what we expected, and we were not informed in advance. At the very least, an update or explanation should have been provided. When you book one thing and get something else, it's very frustrating. Overall, poor service and disappointing experience.

It is sorta close to the train station. Service is horrible, staff would randomly barge into our room during the day. They also questioned when I was standing in the lobby trying to cool off a little bit even after I had just come down. I was trying to cool down because the AC does not work in most rooms. Would not recommend this hotel.

Living all the way from Naples to Modena, it seems that ants on the lower floors in Italy are unavoidable, but despite this, there are indeed areas in the hotel that are not kept clean. (The toilet is very clean, and the toilet is tidied with more care than the bedroom)
The location is truly invincible, very close to the train station, museums, restaurants and supermarkets.

Structure a stone's throw from the center and the station, excellent for those who have little time and want not to miss anything of Modena.
