Very nice hotel, beautifully maintained with friendly, professional and incredibly competent staff, and good breakfast. A lovely hotel with the most comfortable beds and pillows of anywhere we stay. Good location and the rooms are nice and big with lovely bathrooms and large showers. Breakfast has enough variety and the waiting staff are proactive in cleaning up and restocking. Free parking right outside your door and pet friendly makes it our go to when we are in Modena.

The gym was good, but could have used better ventilation. Spa was great, free steam and sauna rooms.

Nice hotel but a little dated. Restaurant is very good but pricey. Better to go to the bar. The only caution is that it’s next to a busy street and the sound and vibration of translates all night. Staff were nice but there were language barriers.

We had issues with the room provided not being what we had booked and this was advised that all rooms were the same, but clearly an accessible room is not the same, as we booked a room with a bathtub for a reason. We've stayed over night and booked two rooms on the 7th floor. The hotel is modern, clean and unfortunately we could not try the in-house restaurant. Dishes are only served in the restaurant, so for families that have to eat dinner a bit earlier - you're out of luck as the restaurant opens at 7:30 PM. The hotel completed their renovation successfully in September 2023 and I found it a great place to stay for my 2 nights in Modena. Well done, silent, has parking, easy access and good breakfast. I will definitely return when in Modena next year.

Friendly and very helpful staff. Ideally located for visits to Ferrari Lamborghini and Pavarotti museums. We had an evening flight and were able to able to arrange a late checkout,6pm for a fee. There is a very good family run restaurant adjacent to the hotel, which is recommended.

This place is not up to date, the pool was overcrowded with families who took all the chairs and the rooms are straight out of the 70s. Pass.

The service from the staff members were great- from the front desk staff all the way to the food attendants. We had to check in late and someone was there to let us in and give us a room. The hotel's design is distinctly Italian, with walls adorned with Italian oil paintings. While the hotel appears to be well-maintained, peeling paint and other signs of age suggest it's somewhat dilapidated. Really enjoyed our stay in this hotel. The staff is friendly and the architecture is great. Very authentic Italian. You feel as if entering another era, the place is old fashioned in the best way possible. They have a parking and they will take care of your car for you. Nice property with a few glitches. Our top floor room got sauna-level warm without the heat being turned on because of heating system flaw that required us to keep the windows open. Our door latch handle kept dropping off onto the carpet. Fresh orange juice for breakfast! B-grade breakfast pastries. Self-serve coffee machine! Hard-boiled eggs only.

It was a good stay overall, very conveniently located, spacious room. My room location wasn't ideal - in the evening, the fare in the park outside had loud music until midnight, and in the morning I could hear everything the staff was doing in the staff room/balcony near. My room was 305, so maybe ask for a different one. It was also very cold! Luckily, there were blankets in the wardrobe.

The hotel is situated in a residential area within a walking distance from the city center. The room was clean and cozy. It had all the amenities including electric kettle and tea what usually isn't a case for Italian hotels. Breakfast was continental, and included a wide choice of food. Overall, a very good experience.

Had a very pleasant stay, good communication, nice staff and ok rooms. Me and my friends enjoyed the stay, and had good breakfast. Even though there are some bad-ish reviews, we haven't had any issues like some other people had and were satisfied. Check in and out was fast and without any issues. I would like to highlight the receptionist, Francesco. He was such a sweet man, went out of his way to make me feel welcomed and was so helpful! I loved that he had a very positive energy. Also, when I asked for hot water, he went the extra mile to wash my bottle for me before filling it with hot water. I booked a last minute stay at La Bella Modena on a busy weekend and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The property was 15 minutes’ walk from the town centre, in a quiet residential area. Decent place to explore Modena from Comfortable hotel with a great restaurant. I did however find the lobby music too loud and audible on the 1st floor. Pool was great but the I’ll be better once renovated, good it wasn’t entirely closed so could use it while being paved around.

Hotel located about 1 km to 2.5 km from the main attractions of the city. Equipped with everything, including parking included in the price. Very clean. Good breakfast. Decent price for the area in which it is located and for the quality of the structure. Discreet and efficient staff.

Room was beautiful and immaculate. Only problem was it was a 24 inch step to get into the tub/shower with no guard rail. Tub was very slippery and getting out difficult. The water pressure was good but the volume was low (similar to my kitchen sink) I am sure they are trying to save water.

The hotel is perfect located but the rooms are very small and need urgently a renovation. The bathroom is so small you can even not sit normal on the toilet. Everything in the room is very old and need urgently an upgrade.

This hotel is located in downtown Modena, very close to the train station, and surrounded by many restaurants, making it the best place to experience Italian style. I recommend staying here when visiting Modena.

We booked a family room at Hotel Europa, but instead were given separate rooms — and even accommodated in a different hotel nearby. This was not what we expected, and we were not informed in advance. At the very least, an update or explanation should have been provided. When you book one thing and get something else, it's very frustrating. Overall, poor service and disappointing experience.
