Hotel Tiby in Modena

I give this hotel a negative review. It was difficult to get to the room because they were doing renovations and the corridor was impassable. The air conditioning was forcibly turned off by the reception, which was absurd despite the scorching heat, which reached 43 degrees.

There was chewing gum on the bedspread, dirty bathrooms, mold everywhere, uncomfortable beds and terrible food except for breakfast. From the entrance everything seemed perfect but it is not. I have never been in a hotel like this. It is to be avoided absolutely

Firstly i stayed there for 5 weeks. The hotel is quiet. But not clean. I saw how the cleaners are behaving. The taste of meals are not ao good. I dont suggest to stay. Btw i dont know its price policy. It doesnt worth because of hygen.

I didn't like my stay at the hotel because of many different aspects, all very relevant to me:
- the smell: in the hallways and in the room there has been a persistent and unpleasant smell
- the bathroom: there were few leaks, and multiple stains and limescale due to them. It was small and I didn't feel very enthusiast of using the shower.
- atmosphere: the general feeling that I had wasn't as good as in other places. Comparing the room, furniture and the whole combination of things with other hotels I went to, I can say that there was something that didn't make me feel relaxed and satisfied. Sad experience.

Location is not bad, only 15 minutes on foot to reach the Duomo of Modena. Service and people that work here are very nice, and the second star in my review is thanks to them

Rooms: we got a room that looked unclean without main light in bathroom and a towel under AC unit for some reason. Atmosphere: I guess that city is renting rooms for migrants and they hang around the hotel. Breakfast: less then basic dirty glasses use plastic ones.
