We stayed in a triple room and the manager was wonderful, trying to make our stay as pleasant as he could. Offering help with directions, recomendations for dining and communicating in English. Very helpful. I would recomend staying here at any time. The accomodations were excellent, breakfast had plenty of options, including gluten free alternatives. The only "complaint" would be the elevator is really small but it does the job. Other than that, the room was clean and very functional, with air conditioning and shower.

I stayed here for one night in a single room and enjoyed my stay. The location is in a perfect spot, close to the city centre, it’s also not a far walk from the station. The bed was very comfortable. The room was clean, had a tv, private washroom and private balcony. The room also came equipped with an extra pillow and extra blanket. Towels, bar soap and shampoo was provided. Check-in was easy and quick, and the man at reception was very kind and helpful. Since this is an old hotel, the room and blankets are outdated. You can also hear almost everything, I could hear my neighbours down the hall talking. It’s not a place to sleep-in since you can hear everyone when they are walking in the hallways in the morning etc.

Great little hotel, good value
Great little hotel, good value for the price. Rooms were clean and comfortable, check in was easy and friendly with clear instructions on how to access the property after 8pm when there was no front desk.

A short, pleasant walk outside of Storico Central, approx 20 min walk from train station. Breakfast was fabulous for $7.50.

If you are looking for an economical short stay, highly recommend!

The property was within walking distance of many attractions. The walls were paper thin you could hear everything in the hallways. The bed was 2 twins pushed together. The gentleman at the counter was nice and helpful with questions we had. No frills lodging.

Fantastic location close to Modena city center - a short 15-minute walk. On the way to the Duomo we enjoyed visiting stores, bottegas, and cafes. Rooms have all the necessities, including soap/towels/tv. Glad for air conditioning, which in Italy is not to be taken for granted. Windows and balcony door do not have screens so just be aware of bugs/mosquitos especially around grape harvest season. The hotel managers and staff were professional and friendly. They offer breakfast as an add on, but we opted for a quick delicious espresso macchiato on our way out the door.

Hotel was in the perfect location, very close to old town but outside the hustle & bustle in a quiet residential area. The room was really spacious and clean. The owner was really friendly & helpful. Overall we had a great stay & would highly reccomend

A bit ragged, but very amendable staff. There is a restaurant/bar on the bottom floor which might cause a bit of noise, or easy access to food and drink, based on preferences.
