Holiday Inn Express Reggio Emilia by IHG in Reggio Emilia

The hotel is clean and the staff are friendly. Breakfast also good. Everything is fine.

Room nice and tidy

I had a pleasant stay at Holiday Inn Express Reggio Emilia during my one-week business trip. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, providing a comfortable environment throughout my stay.

However, I did find it disappointing that the towels and other laundry items were only changed once every 3 to 4 days, despite being charged for the room daily. That’s something that could be improved.

The air conditioning was switched off entirely, which I understand is due to local regulations managed by the city of Reggio Emilia. When I inquired, the staff suggested simply opening the window, which might not be ideal for everyone depending on the weather.

Food options at the hotel were decent—not an extensive menu, but not too limited either. The location is on the outskirts of the city, yet still walkable to nearby restaurants and shopping areas, which is convenient.

If you're visiting Reggio Emilia for business and prefer a quiet, slightly out-of-town location, this hotel is a good choice. But if you're looking to explore the city more efficiently, a hotel closer to the city center might be more suitable.

Need to take a bus from the train station or walk 30 minutes hauling luggage, however, the bus stop is very close. The room was comfortable and the breakfast was pretty good. Our first room had terrible WiFi, but they were able to move us to a room that was better. Our main disappointment was that there was no fridge.

Clean, quiet and comfortable all the amenities you expect from an express-style hotel. Friendly and efficient staff, convenient stopover on a road trip with onsite parking & quick access to the motorway

This hotel is about 30 minutes walk from the city centre. It was clean and comfortable with a good breakfast. It seems to cater mostly for work people rather than tourists but there are plenty of places to eat nearby and a large shopping centre. The staff were very friendly and helpful. A bus runs between the Centre-Ville and AV railway station and stops right outside the hotel, fares are about 1 euro.

Arrived early in the morning and tried to arrange for early check-in. We also went to the restaurant for breakfast. When we were leaving, we checked out at noon and they could help us store our luggage until the afternoon. The service was very good.

The rooms are ok, no restaurant.
