Very old, outdated hotel with absolutely no commodities in the room - I felt like I was staying in 1970s. Not even slippers or a kettle in the room - I was feeling a bit sick, and constantly had to go downstairs to the bar to buy tea or ask for hot water. The bed is very old harsh and uncomfortable. Good place for staying around reggio emilia, near the town hall and there is a beautiful park just in front of the hotel, good for morning/afternoon exercise. And there's museums/art galleries nearby.

Need to take a bus from the train station or walk 30 minutes hauling luggage, however, the bus stop is very close. The room was comfortable and the breakfast was pretty good. Our first room had terrible WiFi, but they were able to move us to a room that was better. Our main disappointment was that there was no fridge.

This hotel is about 30 minutes walk from the city centre. It was clean and comfortable with a good breakfast. It seems to cater mostly for work people rather than tourists but there are plenty of places to eat nearby and a large shopping centre. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Excellent hotel, very close to the train station (the only drawback is the wildlife that generally congregates near stations, which the hotel has no control over). Recently renovated rooms. Air conditioning is present and working. A sweet and savory breakfast awaits you. The reception staff is extremely courteous, not to be confused with obsequious. Congratulations!!!

My experience was overall a pleasant one. The location of the hotel is ideal as it is very close to the city market and the historical centre. The rooms had a nice smell of cleanliness and they were tidied every day. The staff was smiley, gentle and helpful and responded immediately to all our inquiries. Location of the hotel just fine, staff really great and helpful. Rooms smaller. Shower with a curtain that sticks to your back during taking shower. I really didn't expected that in hotel in 2022. Small rooms with noisy air conditioning, but ok. Toilet ventilation not working. Breakfast poor and you couldn't serve your self, but that was maybe due to covid restrictions.

It's out of the way, but the value is good. The high-speed train station is a 6-minute taxi ride away, but it costs a minimum of €8.50. Excessive. Super nice staff, they gave us 6 bedroom dorm for two people (45€). Bike friendly, they let us store ours inside. Bathrooms are clean and location is good.
