Kursaal in Rimini

We booked this hotel for a week. When we arrived in the parking lot, we noticed it was under construction. Access to the elevator on the ground floor, near the parking lot, was terrible. When we went up to our assigned room, we found carpet everywhere, quite worn, and workers were busy. When we entered the room, we were speechless: it was tiny, with a wardrobe perhaps from the 1970s, very small, and to make matters worse, a cabinet with several shelves had been built inside to hold the safe... impossible to open our suitcases. If my husband moved, I had to stay still. The terrace was impassable... a small space that barely fit a chair. We asked for another room, but the receptionist told us they were all occupied. Perhaps it would be possible the next day. Given the situation, we decided to pay for the night, even though we hadn't used anything, and leave. If the hotel is undergoing renovations, they should at least close the floors involved. Welcoming guests is very important. When you go on holiday you should feel good and welcomed with respect.

The hotel is very old. The room floor was terribly dirty. We had to clean on our own. The bed lines were obviously not have been changed from last guests. It is not nice or comfortable staying here. I would never turn back ever again.

Misleading, old, run down
Staff was friendly. However, hotel was unacceptable. Room was very small, air conditioning was so bad it was as if it didn’t exist, bed cover smelled of men’s aftershave. My friends room smelled of cigarettes and had crickets in the room. We left after checking in and paying. €150 fee to cancel the stay. Old, horrible.

Not again

I stayed a few days with my 9 year old daughter who was participating in the competitions of the gymnastics event in celebration. Last night while they were sleeping, at 4:00 in the morning, the door to our room was opened by two girls who came in, turned on the light and then realized they had the wrong room. We woke up and scared and of course we couldn't sleep anymore. In the morning, when I asked the manager about it, I was told that she would check the cameras and then they would let me know. I left without having any news and for the rest of the day they didn't give me any feedback. Only in the afternoon, after calling back and being told that the hotel had no responsibility if strangers entered my room, did I threaten to call the authorities if I didn't get an explanation from the manager. I was contacted immediately after receiving an apology, accompanied by various explanations, including the hypothesis that it was me, with my little daughter inside the room, who had left the door open. Of course I didn't, I am unhappy with the lack of security and privacy of the facility and the way this situation has been handled. Luckily only fright without serious consequences

Disappointing
Air conditioning did not work properly. Shower did not drain properly. Wall outlets not working. Very disappointing stay. Uncomfortable for 4 people. Morning reception lady was nice. Afternoon reception lady seemed confused. Nighttime guy was ok.
