Hotel Trieste in Rimini

We would like to share our personal experience for others to consider. After check-in, the hotel claimed there was damage to the room, which we believe we did not cause. We felt pressured to pay €150 on the spot and were later asked for more, with warnings that we may be asked to leave. In the end, our group was asked to leave, losing four nights of prepaid accommodation. We did not receive any official documents, receipts, or a police report during this process. As young travelers, this was stressful, and our much-awaited trip was ruined. We recommend other travelers clarify all deposit and damage claim procedures in writing before booking here to avoid similar issues.

Terrible place, terrible reception service, room with broken air conditioning and water dripping from the bottom of the tap, the property did not want to change the room despite the availability of other free rooms. Small television connected to an analogue decoder. Dirty wooden headboard. Noisy room though you have to keep the windows open because the air conditioning doesn't work. Low quality breakfast, inedible croissants, terrible coffee. There isn't a chair except a single filthy fabric pouf. There is no fridge or mini bar available. Absolutely the worst room I've ever been in. The hotel should not only have two stars.

First the good news: the room was clean, the staff was friendly l, the location was ideal and the breakfast was good. The bad news is that this is AT BEST a two star hotel. Everything looks tired, the bed was uncomfortable and the carpet was stained. We got a good rate but would never have stayed at a place like this whatever the price if we had known the truth.

They are thieves who stole our money and didn't want to give it back. We entered this hotel, if you can call it, it smelled terrifying. They make us pay for the entire stay immediately because they tell us it is their policy without invoicing. When we enter the room we find: dirty, bed with holes in the sheets, bathroom in poor condition, floor as if some animal had peed on it. When after less than 5 minutes we go down to explain that it wasn't the case there were no hygiene standards for staying in that hotel for two nights, they refuse to compensate us, actually thinking it was intimidating they called the police who agreed with us. In front of them they assure that we will be reimbursed for the IBAN but they blocked our calls and did not respond to our emails. Luckily I recorded everything and I am proceeding through legal channels. In addition to stealing our money, they also ruined our weekend.

I stayed only one night with the family of 4 people, I book a room on booking in favor of the really attractive price. When I arrive to check in, they tell me that there are two rooms and that the only quadruple they have is occupied. So the first inconvenience. We had to share with my wife so as not to leave the children alone. Car parking 20 euros from 8pm to noon. when in the morning I asked the employee if it was possible to keep the car a couple of hours longer they asked me for another 20 euros, I gave up. My dog ​​as a result of a small size cost me 40 euros for one night, really out of the market, elsewhere I paid 70 a week. The windows/balconies overlook the parking lot and are surrounded by aluminum cladding typical of the exterior of the restaurants. The polite but unsympathetic staff The only advantage is that the structure is close to the center for the rest never again.
