Our stay at Hotel “Alfredos” was extremely disappointing. From the very beginning, we encountered problems: for four days, we were not able to get a proper table in the dining area. The staff mistakenly thought we were part of a group of German tourists and did not allow us to choose the menu for the following day. This caused confusion and discomfort.

One staff member in particular left a very negative impression: a woman with short dark hair (a bob haircut), glasses, wearing a white T-shirt and black pants. She was extremely rude — grabbing plates from the table even if the food was not finished, not speaking any English, and behaving in an aggressive and disrespectful manner towards guests.

The only bright spot in the entire hotel was a young man (we believe his name is Emilio, but we’re not sure). He had dark hair, wore a black shirt, and was always very polite and helpful. He was the only one who made us feel like guests were actually valued.

As for the hotel itself — it leaves much to be desired. The rooms are old, the air conditioning is only available for an extra charge, and most of the staff doesn’t speak English, which makes communication very difficult. The food was also poor — bland and repetitive.

Overall, we were very dissatisfied and do not recommend this hotel. The price does not match the quality of service or the living conditions.

Our stay at the three-star Alfredos Hotel was extremely disappointing. The problems started right from the start: for four days we couldn't get a decent table in the dining room. For some reason, the staff considered us part of a group of German tourists and didn't give us the opportunity to choose our meals for the next day. This caused confusion and serious discomfort.

One of the staff members left a particularly unpleasant impression - a woman with short dark hair (bob), glasses, a white T-shirt and black trousers. She behaved extremely rudely: she took the dishes right from under your nose, even if the food hadn't been finished yet. In addition, she didn't speak any English and generally behaved aggressively and disrespectfully towards the guests.

Of all the staff, only one young employee (possibly his name was Emilio) left a positive impression. He was polite, always ready to help and tried to create an atmosphere of respect for the guests - unlike the others.

As for the hotel itself, it does not even justify its three-star status. The rooms are old, the air conditioning only works for an extra fee, the staff barely speaks English, which makes communication difficult. The food leaves much to be desired: the food is monotonous and tasteless. But what was especially striking was that even regular drinking water is only provided for an additional fee - this is outrageous for a hotel of any level.

Overall, we were extremely dissatisfied and do not recommend this hotel at all. The price is clearly too high compared to the quality of services and living conditions.

I can't make sense of the reviews who trash the pace totaly. Its cheap so what do you expect? I stayed for 9 days and overall it was a good experience. Hotel build in the 70/80 and the only one on the beach strip that is still family owned and not some cooperation. I kinda liked this but of course its not modern but I for the most part was on the beach and just slept and ate there.

Rooms: cleand daily with disinfectants, normal hotel service, fresh towels, fresh bedding etc. Floor cleaning. Bathroom is small but works.

Hotel staff: very friendly. 2 English speakers at reception. Funny Italian guy at dinner.
Food: OK for the price. We had some very good and fancy meals in between but mixed with normal Italian "home kitchen" so I would say food is not 3 stars over all but that is mostly the fault of the breakfast which is the only subbar thing I could think of.
The food is good quality and I liked the "home kitchen" because I don't want to eat continental all the time and appreciated the look into Italian cuisine you would get from staying in a b&b.

The hotel is one street crossing from the beach.

WiFi only is available in the reception, dining and breakfast area.

All in all it was alright and a nice stay

Nice cheap hotel.
The staff are nice, and we could communicate on a strange mixture of English, German, Italian and sign languages :)
The food in the restaurant is quite good, but the breakfast could use a bit of upgrade.

the hotel has very old infrastructure and the food was outrageous for a three star rating.
Do your self a favor and don't go.

I found myself by chance in this hotel, no one had recommended me nor stayed, I had to spend 3 days in rivazzurra and I was charmed by the advantageous price ... I state that I had read several bad reviews about this hotel.
First day: outside hotel not bad, as soon as we enter we notice an ancient, gloomy aspect, but let's go on. Receptionist courteous and explains in detail schedules and programs. He hands us the keys to the room, we approach the elevator and an unpleasant smell already pervades us coming from the kitchen ... we enter the room. Small, new furniture, small uncomfortable bathroom and quite "old" shower with extensible walls, hot water does not come out of the shower (among other things the hand shower is broken) and the cold one does not come out of the sink ...
Let's move on to lunch:
Spaghetti with shelled clams (or in a jar or in a frozen bag) alternative pasta with tomato ... and so also for the evening and for the next day ... (pasta with pesto or pasta with tomato) better alternative for the main courses. Dishes that perhaps a chef in his first year of hospitality learns to cook ..
Frankly I have been in many structures in Romagna and their pride has always been the kitchen, which in this structure is totally the opposite, The waiter points out the scarce buffet / vegetables due to the covid, always with little care in appearance (informal) and above all without a mask or precaution and protection paid to customers, ditto for the waitress ... very hurry in serving and above all in taking away the dishes even if still with food.
For both lunch and dinner, free sauna while eating.
Speaking of the precaution of the covid on the buffet, for breakfast there is no .. customers without precautions, without masks and everyone in turn to take briosh, slices of cakes, bread and cold cuts without any care.
1 Star Hotel (exaggerating) and for people who want to spend less ... or unwary and unpretentious foreign boys ...
Negative experience and absolutely to be forgotten.

Hotel is old and not clean. Wifi was not working. Food is okie but we got stomachache from time to time. People are quite nice, the owner (old lady) can communicate in German. I would not recommended this hotel.
