The hotel has a strategic location and a spacious beach. It's not the first time I've been to this property, but this year it's gotten worse in terms of the facilities and services

Relaxing weekend in November with still pleasant weather. Breakfast and SPA were to our liking, as well as the cleanliness and services offered by the structure. The fact that it is seafront is a great advantage!

If you are looking for quiet and romantic place I highly recommend this hotel but it’s a bit old a renovation would be great

The location is on the beach and was a great feeling coming down for breakfast and seeing the beautiful sunrise with the mountains. My daughter and her friend came a week after and loved the property

It was an amazing stay. We had half board it was well worth it. Excellent food at restaurant. Breakfast could have more selection but what they provided was good. I would highly recommend for families.

You are literally on the beach. The food is good and delivered to you in a picnic box while you sit in your chaise lounge under your umbrella on the beach. This may be the cleanest hotel I’ve stayed in in years

The staff were warm and welcoming, the sea view room was beautiful, the meals were delicious and a few hours at the beach was a wonderful way to start the trip

Room had a super king bed and was very clean, comfortable, nicely decorated and had a fantastic view looking down to the beach. Breakfast on the terrace was delightful. Good choice of delicious food in a superb setting

It’s a 35 euro round trip taxi to Gaeta old town where all of the restaurants are. There is some shopping downtown but it’s not sorrento…. We arrived in late September early October for five nights

We are in room 212 with a beautiful patio and view in the main building. I recommend to bring some insect repellent. We have one more night and will say arrivaderci to Gaeta

The Grand Hotel la Playa is amazing. The beach the food the people are friendly and ready to help with all your needs. Its location is great you can walk everywhere you like

When I had originally read the reviews for this hotel I was nervous that I had chosen badly but, to my very pleasant surprise, this hotel is a hidden gem! It’s incredibly located, right on the beach where you experience a beautiful sunset every night

The location is five stars, with their own private beach, plus an outdoor heated pool with various massage jets...and a private parking included. The rooms are fairly Spartan .and typical of an Italian three stars hotel.

It was very good experience. Clean, simple and nice hotel. Parking and hotel beach access are payable. But there is a public beach in two minutes walk.

The kitchen provides tasty food for dinner. For lunch there's the possibility to grab a sandwich at the beach bar (or take a short drive towards Gaeta for fesh Mozzarella and snacks!)

This hotel is past its best and stuck in a 1950's time warp. Clean enough and breakfast was ok. Don't expect to use the pool as it had no water in it but the beach is across the road

We stayed at Grand Hotel dei Cesari with our 3 young kids and I have to say we had a fantastic time. The pool is well looked after and a safe place for the kids to play. The sea and the water was absolutely fantastic

The rooms are vintage but well maintained. Food was simple but clean and tasty. All staff were friendly and kind. I would definitely recommend it and come back to this property. Thanks for the unforgettable stay ❤️

The PRO: position is outstanding, the room was facing the sea, the reserved beach wasn't overcrowded as the umbrellas are limited to guests of the facility. The CONS: Overpriced in my opinion

A lovely hotel right on the beach with a lift that takes you right there!. Sun bed and umbrellas included. Beach is clean with lifeguard on duty all day. Rooms are small and spotlessly clean

The location is superb, you get out from your room, you get the lift and you find yourself directly under your umbrella/sunbed in front of the cristal sea

I love the solarium terrace with the hydromassage tubs, when the sun goes down with its panorama it becomes one of the most exciting and impactful environments I have ever seen in a seaside hotel

You can't call it a restaurant since you eat on the bar tables with a paper placemat at 4-star restaurant prices and certainly not with the same quality! We need to work on it

Great stop on night before cruise departure. Easy taxi ride to Port. Tough to beat the views from our room, request one overlooking the sea. Restaurants north of Villa delle Palma provided plenty of dining options.

Our second stay at Miramare Formia The hotel is located on the beach with breathtaking views from our balcony. Our breakfast was included which was delicious and an abundance

We were very disappointed as we were hoping to station ourselves at the hotel between beach and pool and only go out in the evening. In reality we left after breakfast and returned after dinner

However, the facilities are really not good, as the beach has very little facilities and it is the most expensive in the area, not to mention access to it was a nightmare with many steep steps

The property consists of few small buildings within a lovely courtyard full of plants and trees. The hotel has a very nice patio area looking towards the sea, although sadly the view is reduced by the trees

Also, the swimming pool was not included in the price and we were asked £15 per day per person. It would have costed us a fortune, so we went elsewhere

Found a butt print on the mirror, a hair in the bed and a bug (not bed bug) in the sheet. The sheets looked clean and we checked thoroughly for bed bugs but it really wasn't that bad. It was the nicest one on the beach
