Very clean, quiet, and views from the beach hands down one of the best beaches.

The location is five stars, with their own private beach, plus an outdoor heated pool with various massage jets...and a private parking included. The rooms are fairly Spartan .and typical of an Italian three stars hotel.

It was very good experience. Clean, simple and nice hotel. Parking and hotel beach access are payable. But there is a public beach in two minutes walk.

Beautiful location, very short walk to the beach. Our basic room was fine, but no fridge, no safe. Wifi available only in the reception. The outdoor swimming pool is very small and in the shade

The location is on the beach and was a great feeling coming down for breakfast and seeing the beautiful sunrise with the mountains. My daughter and her friend came a week after and loved the property

A fantastic cool place , built like a resort with several different buildings. Location oversees the beach and you can choose beach chairs or pool chairs. I assume that this used to be a very luxurious place

We were very disappointed as we were hoping to station ourselves at the hotel between beach and pool and only go out in the evening. In reality we left after breakfast and returned after dinner

However, the facilities are really not good, as the beach has very little facilities and it is the most expensive in the area, not to mention access to it was a nightmare with many steep steps

Also, there was no WI-fi in our room. All in all, I would recommend this hotel if you are not hoping to have a beach holiday

We stayed here about 30 years ago and enjoyed it. No change this time !!!! Room was classic (not modern). The breakfast was wonderful and staff very pleasant. Does have a lift so that was very helpful with our luggage

When I had originally read the reviews for this hotel I was nervous that I had chosen badly but, to my very pleasant surprise, this hotel is a hidden gem! It’s incredibly located, right on the beach where you experience a beautiful sunset every night

The beach and the location are fantastic. The life guard, Filippo, deserves special credit for his high professional and capable performance of his work. We will probably return to this hotel

This property is situated in a gorgeous area… beautiful beach. The reason for my low rating is the staff. They were not helpful, not friendly.

They let us check in early and helped us get a 2 hour taxi when the trains went on strike. Everyone was great. Dinner starts later so be prepared for most restaurants to open at 8 pm

The hotel is also well located in that it takes roughly 10 minutes to walk into the base of the old town. Then it takes some time to go up all those stairs if you’re wanting to go to the top! Yes, the rooms are dated

Location was great!!! Room was a little dated, but comfortable. Pillows, however, were very uncomfortable. Hospitality staff were friendly and offered great service. Front desk staff were not friendly or helpful.

This is truly a hidden gem of a hotel! During my Spring Festival trip and business trip to Rome, I stayed in Ostia because it's close to both the airport and Rome, and it's right by the sea, perfect for a relaxing beach holiday

This was a great hotel for our last night in Italy. We wanted to stay somewhat close to the airport, and hotel has a convenient shuttle for only 13 euros per person. We enjoyed the quiet beachside town

The lobby, with its floor-to-ceiling windows, has comfortable tables and chairs. As a workaholic, I could comfortably work on my laptop while enjoying the distant sea view

I didn't expect cleaning service, but it was provided daily, including fresh towel changes and even bed-making – a wonderful surprise, thank you! Parking is very easy nearby, and there are various restaurants and supermarkets in the vicinity

Not a great selection but quite typical for Italy. Bathroom was not super clean but ok, although 1 of the towels was dirty so I did not use. On the whole, it was fair value for the money

The main downside, however, is the sofa (which I don't mind as much) and the bed – ugh! After a long day of exploring Rome, you'd really hope for at least a reasonably comfortable mattress; if that's important to you, then this isn't the place

There's also a large fridge with a freezer, a microwave, and a small kitchen. Kitchenware was sparse – just one pot and no frying pan – but we made do with cold dinners, and the microwave was sufficient for breakfast

Mixed Bag The apartment offers excellent value for money. While I won't deny that the passage from the bedroom to the living area is a bit tight, it has other great features

The front desk staff were very friendly, and a HUGE THANK YOU to the cleaning staff! It was a delightful surprise, and the lady assigned to our room was incredibly kind

This summer we returned again for a holiday to a wonderful, dreamy location and a charming hotel, a pearl of hospitality ,hidden in a superb Mediterranean garden on the lakeshore and near the sea : San Francesco Charming hotel in Sabaudia

This was an absolutely lovely hotel with great staff. There was an issue with our beds upon arrival and we were upgraded to a larger suite with no hassle. The grounds are beautiful and the rooms have amazing views

The tv in the rooms seem to never have connection. The cooler items are a bit pricey if you drink/eat them. All in all its a awesome place to stay and would recommend to anyone and everyone. I cant wait for my next visit

The central location made it super easy to walk into town. We had chairs rented at a separate beach club through family so we didn't use the hotel beach but I'm sure it was great

Found a butt print on the mirror, a hair in the bed and a bug (not bed bug) in the sheet. The sheets looked clean and we checked thoroughly for bed bugs but it really wasn't that bad. It was the nicest one on the beach

we had a balcony looking out over the black sand beach and could hear the surf all night. it was gorgeous and an easy walk from the train station. also an easy walk to innumerable restaurants and pizza places

A wonderful sleepy hotel hidden on the side of the mountain. It was slow while we were there (late September). It felt very intimate & private. The aesthetics of the place are top notch

The room (for the first 3 days) was bright and clean and the bathroom seems to be renewned shortly with a very nice shower with a stone floor. But, for the 2 last days we had to switch to another room

Before sleeping we again killed all flies and closed all doors to have a night without gullies. Next day at 3pm the first action was taken (24h later) from the cleaning staff, but no improvement

We stayed at the beginning of September, lots of friendliness, breakfast to go, near the sea, and well served in the surrounding area, complete with a bar, pizzeria and supermarkets.

You are literally on the beach. The food is good and delivered to you in a picnic box while you sit in your chaise lounge under your umbrella on the beach. This may be the cleanest hotel I’ve stayed in in years

The rooms are small and the towels were rough. There is no elevator and we were asked to walk up several flights of long stairs. A mistake was made on the bill

Wonderful experience! A former J. Paul Getty residence situated just a short drive away from Fiumicino Airport. Friendly staff, excellent food and a relaxing spa and indoor swimming pool. ‘Dolce far bene’ is their motto!

My lady also enjoyed the Spa with a wonderful Cocoon massage from Celia. We also loved the food and being able to dine on the Terrace w the sea rolling in. All in all, a great experience

It is the most beautiful castle with well appointed rooms with sitting rooms right outside your room. The town is on your door step and the best food we have eaten in a month of travelling Italy

Very nice Palazzo in a square in the middle of old Bolsena. Good restaurant as well with outside space. Strange thing is that breakfast is served only in the room. But it was delicious!

This place is definitively a must-see and must-do if you're in Bolsena! You feel a bit like in a museum, or as if you had been just taken several hundred years back in history

They also have a lovely wine store inside with quite a few excellent selections that we as wine lovers were previously unaware. We are already planning to return

The rooms are enormous and the house is a true mansion. We couldn't believe how spacious it was, with so many little details that made gave us a sense of wonder

The hotel and beach were beautiful . Very relaxing with great views. Its not really within walking distance of anywhere so a car is needed. We went to Sperlinga most evenings which is about 10 minute drive.

We would stay here again and recommend it for a romantic get away. I think they earned their four stars with service and the beach. The staff is friendly and helpful

It’s a 35 euro round trip taxi to Gaeta old town where all of the restaurants are. There is some shopping downtown but it’s not sorrento…. We arrived in late September early October for five nights

If you don't want the crowds of Sorrento/Amalfi I highly recommend coming to Gaeta and booking your stay here. It was easy to arrive via taxi from the Formia-Gaeta train station from Rome

The price is a little bit less then the surroundings and often it included dinner and beach place. My room was too small with a bed smaller than a standard double, a small bathroom, a small tv

the balcony is not physically separated from the of the other room but with a simple plant. The dinner and breakfast were of average quality. I may come back checking price and asking in advance for the room

This hotel is past its best and stuck in a 1950's time warp. Clean enough and breakfast was ok. Don't expect to use the pool as it had no water in it but the beach is across the road

We stayed at Grand Hotel dei Cesari with our 3 young kids and I have to say we had a fantastic time. The pool is well looked after and a safe place for the kids to play. The sea and the water was absolutely fantastic

The hotel has a strategic location and a spacious beach. It's not the first time I've been to this property, but this year it's gotten worse in terms of the facilities and services

Relaxing weekend in November with still pleasant weather. Breakfast and SPA were to our liking, as well as the cleanliness and services offered by the structure. The fact that it is seafront is a great advantage!

If you are looking for quiet and romantic place I highly recommend this hotel but it’s a bit old a renovation would be great
