Hotels with beach in Lido Di Ostia

This is truly a hidden gem of a hotel! During my Spring Festival trip and business trip to Rome, I stayed in Ostia because it's close to both the airport and Rome, and it's right by the sea, perfect for a relaxing beach holiday

This was a great hotel for our last night in Italy. We wanted to stay somewhat close to the airport, and hotel has a convenient shuttle for only 13 euros per person. We enjoyed the quiet beachside town

The room facing the sea offered a panoramic ocean view right from the moment I woke up, and the beach was just a few minutes' walk away – it was breathtaking

I was pleasantly surprised by how wonderful it was. Apparently, the hotel owner used to run a high-end restaurant, and the manager has an art background. Every detail of the hotel's design is meticulously crafted

The breakfast was absolutely fantastic! 👍 A wide variety of options were available, including whole milk, skim milk, soy milk, almond milk, and various yogurts, all organic

The lobby, with its floor-to-ceiling windows, has comfortable tables and chairs. As a workaholic, I could comfortably work on my laptop while enjoying the distant sea view

Easy to reach from Rome by Lido Centrale train station. Right at the beach. Breakfast was good.

A really nice hotel providing cozy rooms for transfer passengers of Fiumicino Airport. Although there are not many facilities inside the rooms, guests can still find everything essential

We came to Ostia to visit family and we were so happy with our choice to stay at Hotel La Scaletta. The Hotel is clean and it was perfect for our stay

The view from the window is gorgeous. The breakfast is a buffet. The room is clean.

The hotel was clean, with polite staff, was there for 2 days and has a beach in front, close to Fiumicino airport and great transport links into city centre, has McDonald's just next to it and restaurants around it

I didn't expect cleaning service, but it was provided daily, including fresh towel changes and even bed-making – a wonderful surprise, thank you! Parking is very easy nearby, and there are various restaurants and supermarkets in the vicinity

Not a great selection but quite typical for Italy. Bathroom was not super clean but ok, although 1 of the towels was dirty so I did not use. On the whole, it was fair value for the money

The main downside, however, is the sofa (which I don't mind as much) and the bed – ugh! After a long day of exploring Rome, you'd really hope for at least a reasonably comfortable mattress; if that's important to you, then this isn't the place

There's also a large fridge with a freezer, a microwave, and a small kitchen. Kitchenware was sparse – just one pot and no frying pan – but we made do with cold dinners, and the microwave was sufficient for breakfast

Mixed Bag The apartment offers excellent value for money. While I won't deny that the passage from the bedroom to the living area is a bit tight, it has other great features

The front desk staff were very friendly, and a HUGE THANK YOU to the cleaning staff! It was a delightful surprise, and the lady assigned to our room was incredibly kind

The hotel was great! Hotel staff are all friendly and accommodating! It was right in front of the beach and a few steps from a marina where there are several shops and restaurants! It’s quite near to the Fiumicino (Leonardo da Vinci) Airport

I'm glad I didn't get a beach view, the music at the beach across the street was quite loud late, but didn't keep me up. Front desk was pleasant and competent

The hotel is located 10 km from Fiumiccino airport, if you have a long layover it is very convenient, relatively inexpensive, near the sea. Delicious breakfast overlooking the sea. You can stroll along the embankment

The room was clean and the furniture was decent. But keep in mind that there are houses next to the hotel, practically balcony to balcony. Locals look in on you, and you look at them

The staff is friendly and helpful. They helped me print out a plane ticket and called a transfer. The room is clean, warm, quiet

There's plenty of room for strolls, and the sea is practically on your doorstep

Overall good stay, small room but comfortable. Very close walk to beach and restaurants. Staff at checkin and breakfast very nice. Airport shuttle is handy for a small fee

The location is ideal, offering close proximity to the beach and a wide variety of restaurants. It's also very convenient for travel, with a nearby bus stop and an airport shuttle service provided by the hotel

We used this hotel as a "long stopover" for 2 nights before flying from Fuimicino. Though the location is a bit isolated but close to the beach

My room was very clean with a effective AC which made for a comfortable stay. The hotel is situated in a quiet area, which, combined with the comfortable room, allowed for a great night's sleep

Room was as expected, location was great for easy travel to FCO the next morning. Staff that checked us in (Mossimo?) was wonderful. Great stay in a basic hotel with everything we needed.

We needed a hotel last minute to wait out a long layover. This hotel is a short drive from the airport so it is a good location if you’re coming from there. Reception was very nice too

We were extremely satisfied with everything. The staff is very kind and helpful. We took my elderly parents to the beach, so it was very good that we were able to occupy the rooms already at noon

And after checking out, we were able to use the roof terrace, so thank you very much. The garden is very beautiful, the hotel is also beautiful

The breakfast is delicious and varied, and the coffees and juices are also very tasty. Opposite the hotel is a free beach, but there are also paid beaches that meet all needs

Older, charming beachfront hotel. Lobby was busy, but desk agent very attentive and efficient.

The beach was right across the street and no need for a car. Restaurants were also very close to the area and many nice coffee bars within walking distance.

Door into hotel opened with card, though found it open a few times, gated entrance which added to security. Breakfast was downstairs in windowless room, limited choices of buffet. Good free beach across the road

The hotel is also less than 10 minutes away from a verity of restaurants, gelaterie, shopping and more! The breakfast served every morning is by far one of the best I have had while staying in a hotel

My room had a comfortable bed and a nice bathroom with a shower, hairdryer and bidet. It's really easy to get to the railway station (10 mins walk) and from there to the airport and Rome city centre

I much preferred it over your average continental breakfast. Every morning hotel guest were greeted by the kindest staff to take their coffee order as you choose from an assortment of pastries, cake, yogurt, and fruits

Great little hotel with cosy atmosphere and friendly staff. Everything is super clean and their breakfast has a really wide selection of foods (toast, eggs, pizza, biscuits, yoghurt etc)

You are also given the choice of savoury options such as eggs, light salads, cold cuts and cheeses. The hotel kitchen staff take your coffee order each morning as you relax and enjoy the buffet style breakfast layout

My room was quiet and had a lovely terrace from where you can see the Mediterranean Sea. It had tea-and-coffee-making facilities and a fridge, a TV, desk and a wardrobe

The blue tones perfectly complement the seaside resort atmosphere, yet even a single shade of blue is layered, preventing the visuals from feeling heavy

I would recommend this place if you want to get a hotel nearby the ocean and the airport. However this place is far from the main city

10 min from station. Just next to beach. Also close to market. Breakfast is nice and some snack/beer/wine can be sold too at reasonable price

The shower facilities are amazing, I have not seen them anywhere else in Italy, even though I have been to every city in the country I give it a 5 and I don't understand why this hotel doesn't have that rating, it's the best place in this city

Nice rooms, very friendly stuff, nice location, you can walk to the sea, there a lots of restaurants nearby and a supermarket. Trainstation is ten minutes by foot

Staff was very friendly even if we checked in late. As you walk in the structure you find a beautiful terrace that overlooks the town centre and has a nice sea view. Perfect for a relaxing breakfast

Hospitality was outstanding. Ricardo was great. Breakfast had many options. The location was excellent both restaurants of quality and stores located close by certainly will return.

Beauty by the beach Beautiful homey feeling that overlooked the square and was right across the street for the beach. The woman running the place was friendly and helpful. We wish we could have stayed longer

A Perfect Stay at Barocchetto Romano – 10/10! My stay at Barocchetto Romano was absolutely wonderful! This charming bed and breakfast is in the perfect location, just 12 minutes door to door from FCO airport, and yet it feels like a peaceful escape

The owners were exceptional, communicating promptly and graciously answering every question we had

The hotel staff was fantastic! The price you pay is incredibly affordable and the location is decent. The rooms could use a deep clean though.. At least ours could. Our bathroom smelled like urine..

Super nice staff, rooms are a bit old but still cosy. Nice few on the ocean. Price wise I would say for a location like this perfect. And and and the breakfast is super nice.

We stayed here for competing in Rome international Bjj , it was grand to put head down and ok for price, close to airport and train station close to hotel ,so easy enough to go to visit other places in Rome.

Into Rome centre in 20 minutes via the Metro interconnect at Pyramid station (it serves the Metro and Ostia line). Eating/drinking places are open until early morning near the hotel

Handy but take a rroom on a higher floor to minimise street noise. Shuttle to the airport for 15 euro. Say hi to the driver, who was great also!

10 minutes easy walk to the train / bus station. Trains are frequent, inexpensive and will get you to Ostea Antica (a must see) in 2 stops

Great communication, and very helpful. The apartment was really nice, with a communal kitchen/rest area, which had all amenities you would need, and a balcony with beach views

Location was brilliant, just across the road from loads of bars and restaurants, and the beach. Short drive from the airport, and the hosts organised a taxi for me back to the airport, and with my flight being at 06

Good facilities in the shared area, fridge, coffee machine, teas etc, sparkling water machine also. Great sea view from the scared balcony. Great central location near to the beach, lovely street of restaurants

Large spacious room, entry could be a bit tricky, but it it works if a tad complicated. Very centrally located, close to the beach

Everything was very very good especially the hospitality of Alessio , he was as always very cooperated and kind .. Thanks Maison 6 and thanks all who are working there . Certainly I will visit it again .

Check in was easy enough using WhatsApp instructions. I would say that some kind of ‘do not disturb/clean my room’ system would be good so the cleaner doesn’t knock on the door in the morning
