Fly Decò Hotel in Lido Di Ostia

The hotel was located nearby the ocean! The room was a bit smaller than expected but overall it was clean. The breakfast was great! Had lots of choices from bakeries to prociutto meats! I really enjoyed the place, although it was short stay, the service was nice. I would recommend this place if you want to get a hotel nearby the ocean and the airport. However this place is far from the main city.

This is truly a hidden gem of a hotel! During my Spring Festival trip and business trip to Rome, I stayed in Ostia because it's close to both the airport and Rome, and it's right by the sea, perfect for a relaxing beach holiday. I was pleasantly surprised by how wonderful it was. Apparently, the hotel owner used to run a high-end restaurant, and the manager has an art background. Every detail of the hotel's design is meticulously crafted. The blue tones perfectly complement the seaside resort atmosphere, yet even a single shade of blue is layered, preventing the visuals from feeling heavy. The lobby, with its floor-to-ceiling windows, has comfortable tables and chairs. As a workaholic, I could comfortably work on my laptop while enjoying the distant sea view. The breakfast was absolutely fantastic! 👍 A wide variety of options were available, including whole milk, skim milk, soy milk, almond milk, and various yogurts, all organic. The organic spreads were also delicious, and they even thoughtfully provided rice! Having breakfast there felt like pure bliss. ☺️ The rooms are standard, not large, but the facilities are new and everything is impeccably clean. The room facing the sea offered a panoramic ocean view right from the moment I woke up, and the beach was just a few minutes' walk away – it was breathtaking. The hotel grounds feature plenty of outdoor seating, making it comfortable even to just sit and relax. It's a small, clean, and quiet city with many delicious restaurants, perfect for a relaxing vacation. I'll definitely come back and stay longer next time!

It was comfortable and clean

I stayed in Rome for the IBJJF No-Gi Europeans and came across The Fly Deco Hotel. It's a very nice hotel, modern, clean, friendly staff. My room was very nice too, nice modern bathroom, air conditioning and very clean. The only issue I had was that my bed was too small. I'm 6ft 2 inches tall and my feet pocked out of the end. If you're below that height you'll probably be fine. The breakfast was good, I had scrambled egg on toast most days. I'd like to see a few more pastry options and bananas in the fruit bowl. Other than that, can't complain.

The room facilities are clean, well-maintained, with no signs of wear and tear from use. The reception and breakfast room are in a pleasant environment. Everything is beautifully decorated for the Advent season.

Very nice convenient hotel with amazing location and view. The reception staff are responsive and helpful. The breakfast is good quality with helpful staff. The room is clean well furnished. It has been wonderful experience. Ostia is a nice city with amazing see view.

Excellent location, exceptional staff. Given our very early departure, we weren't able to enjoy breakfast. However, the super-friendly staff prepared a breakfast basket for us and our baby. I'm giving it 4 stars because we weren't able to take advantage of all the amenities offered.

This was a great hotel for our last night in Italy. We wanted to stay somewhat close to the airport, and hotel has a convenient shuttle for only 13 euros per person. We enjoyed the quiet beachside town. And the views from the rooftop terrace were beautiful. The room was a little small but completely sufficient. Mattress and pillows were better than the luxury hotels we stayed in for the rest of the trip. Front desk staff were friendly and hotel clean. Excellent restaurants short walk and hotel right across the street from the beach clubs.

Small modern hotel on the Ostia coast. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Breakfast was amazing; outstanding selections. The hotel has an agreement with a private beach area across the street. The chairs and umbrellas are NOT included and cost extra but it was totally worth it to not use the public beach area. Airport shuttles are an extra charge but nice and timely. This is the perfect place for a few nights on the beach. The AC actually works well and was able to cool out room appropriately. I would definitely stay again.
