Hotel Scacciapensieri in Nettuno

Nice location for beach but my room was very disgusting. Was not cleaned upon arrival (hairs in the bathroom from shaving etc) which I asked to be cleaned but never was.

Staff were very nice, AC was amazing.

False advertising
Staff were friendly. False advertising that they having an airport transfer. Unclear use of beach chairs and umbrellas. Very old hotel, feels *******. Upsetting end of trip to Italy.

We left this morning after 3 nights in this hotel with a group of 47 high school students. Old rooms, tiny showers, hair and body hair in some rooms. For groups they don't change towels for 3-4 days and are reluctant to give them if you ask for them. For them, it's like that everywhere and we had to guess. The breakfast is more than mediocre, the buffet is not for school groups but they don't say it and complain at the end that some people had taken cereals and salty foods. We found hair in some plates of pasta, the person who takes care of the service smokes in the kitchen. We had full board with picnics that were not good. The only good thing was the quality of the mattresses. Hotel to avoid if you want quality service and not a hotel that cuts corners on everything.

A room that could easily be confused with the bunk of a Rome Sardinia ferry, a burial place! The furniture is from the 80s, but the last maintenance was also done in those years! The floors of the rooms are a labyrinth! We had 2 days of bad weather, I can't blame the hotel, but I can blame them for having crooked windows that made a noise, which didn't allow us to sleep ALL NIGHT LONG! It was impossible to sleep, the noise between windows, shutters and whistles in the corridor were absurd! I'll leave aside the care taken with the furniture because it is beyond comment. The only positive note was the view. And now another sore point: breakfast! We went down and the buffet was empty, only crumbs probably from the day before, the bread maker was off, not even a croissant. I had recommended gluten-free at the time of booking, my husband is celiac: they showed up with a small plate of packaged and old products from Eurospin, nothing to say about the supermarket chain, but for gluten-free there are better choices, or better yet a fresh one, at least something! For me either tea or coffee otherwise there was a surcharge, fruit juices full of ice, depressing! CLOSE AND CHANGE JOB THAT'S BETTER!
