Beautiful hotel in the mountains, great views, cool weather in the summer.

No air-conditioning made sleeping a bit challenging in our humid June stay. The balcony door does opens to allow fresh air in, but with no other windows, you can not get any cross flow ventilation. Sadly, the pool was "broken" during our stay, so we didn't get a chance to use it (although it looks pretty big). As there was a wedding reception/celebration on our first night, there was no place for us...

Great breakfast, lovely pool and spa facilities, rooms clean ands modern. Lovely bathrooms.

An elegant hotel with a relaxing atmosphere. Great pool and spa. Rooms were spotlessly clean and refreshed each day. Breakfast was excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location is 5 minutes walk to Bormio centre. We visited in the summer and there is plenty to do. Highly recommended.

Acceptable place. Near the center. Too hot. Dinner in another hotel (good and plentiful) at 2 km. Some lights did not work, there is no light in front of the room and you have to look for the patch. No parking (3 places in the whole hotel). Do not clean enough. Very friendly and sociable the staff that earns the three stars more

wonderful child friendly place with not only a swiming pool but a room full of toys for kids .. other thn this place has fantastic gym sauna and massage place too .. i love the atic rooms with balcony

Booked in advance, TK starts the ski season. Thanks to this managed to stay in a single room under the roof with a veranda and Jacuzzi. Breakfast is pleased, not Italian. In the sense that there was something to eat besides cruasan and coffee. Cheeses, cereals, meats, eggs, fresh juice and fruit... the Staff is helpful, trying to solve urgent issues promptly, to help. Stayed here for 3 nights whilst cycling the local mountain passes - really well maintained hotel, lovely facilities and great views. Very accommodating for our bikes - told us we can leave them in our rooms or in the ski room. Breakfast was of a really high standard and catered for every taste in a buffet style.

Beautiful place in the city, near ski area and near to the city centre. The room is Beautiful and really comfortable, clean and with a lovely mountain's view. Really good service and great breakfast.

Friendly staff and nice arrival experience. During check-in we were offered a room upgrade - room was spacious and with great mountaneous view. Stay in SPA was very pleasant and relaxing.

We stayed at La Genzianella for a 4 day bike trip. It was just perfect. The rooms, the restaurant and the superfriendly staff! Tip: book halfboard. The restaurant is just really amazing. Would definitely like to return here one day.

My girlfriend and I had an excellent dinner at la genzianella. We arrived quite late but the staff has been able to provide us an excellent experience and they let us try several tasty dishes. Good wines. Prices quite competitive. The location is fantastic.

This is an extremely well run hotel. It deserves top honours. The staff are fantastic and go out of their way to help you out. The breakfast is amazing with lots of variety. The rooms are very well set out and decorated beautifully that fits well with the mountains.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND. We have just returned from a wonderful week at the Hotel Funivia - and we cannot wait to go back! Our family of 4 (2 adults, 2 boys) were on our first ski holiday and this was the perfect choice. Very nice hotel, friendly staff, breakfast is perfect for cycling and dinner is really good. The location is nice, slightly outside the centre so it is not so busy, but the noise from motorcycles going can be quite loud. Overall really nice place to stay, will return for my next trip to Bormio

It's my third stay in Hotel Funivia and i consider them as the best bike friendly hotel in Bormio. Rooms were always clean and tidy whenever i'm back from my ride, their halfboard covers both breakfast (handy sandwiches and bananas for your ride) full course dinners and if you miss your lunch after your ride, they had refreshments after 3pm so that you will not go hungry till dinner it's serve. Good location. A minute walk from ski rental, 5 minutes walk from the lift to Bormio 2000. Very friendly staff. Clean. Good breakfast, though i wish there would be vegetables. The pool is for kids. The saunas facilities are not comfortable. I would recommend the hotel.

Nice location for skiers since it is next to the slopes, room are according to expectations for a 3 star hotel (keep in mind no coffee or tea is available in the room and the wifi bugs once in a while), nice staff and vibes, food from the restaurant that is included with your stay is ok and the breakfast is nice.

Had a great coffee on my trip up and down the Stelvio pass. Better to stop here than on the tourist trap top of the mountain.

I cycled up the Stelvio pass from Bormio Terme spa. When I reached this hotel I could see chairs outside and made my way there. It was past the lunchtime trade around 1500 but they made me feel welcome. I bought a pannini and a milky coffee (latte machiatto) and a cake. The tables and inside was lovely and clean. The service was very quick and she understood several languages. I used English and Italian...

Firstly the staff were very nice and helpful. All the recommendations we got were very good. The hotel was clean always! Very neat and tidy. Breakfast was good, had everything we needed. Not extensive but enough options! The bed was good, views from the windows and balcony were stunning. It was warm enough in the room. Wifi was good. Can’t find a negative point.

We spent two nights here during a mini holiday with a day at Bagni Vecchi in Bormio. New room, tastefully furnished, spacious bathroom. Excellent cleaning. The breakfast was very good and rich, made even more special by the view. Courteous and helpful staff.

The hotel is well located: behind the central thermal baths of Bormio; not far from the old baths: a stone's throw from the centre. Stayed here during our trip to Bormio when biking stelvio pass. The hotel was really beautiful and clean. However, our room was 24 degrees, and we were incredibly hot and unable to adjust the thermostat. I asked the front desk to adjust it, but it did not make a difference. Overall, the hotel was in a convenient location with parking onsite, and the room was quiet and clean.

It’s a beautiful hotel to feast your eyes on and even more gorgeous when you arrive. Eight tired motor bikers turned up to a welcoming smile. The rooms were spotless and very comfortable. I was one of a group who spent a week in Hotel San Lorenzo. Everything was top class, rooms were simple and spotless, thoroughly clean every day. Breakfast was outstanding, with a wide range for meats, fruit, cereals and juices. Choice of breads could have been better but tha tis a very small issue. Table service was exemplary. Staff were unfailingly helpful in all respects.

First time I celebrate New Year's Eve in the mountains and I must say that I had a great time, I found the reception friendly and helpful, the location clean and super welcoming, finally the food (in this house the dinner) was really delicious. I recommend it!
