A recent Easter holiday stay at this wonderful property in the historic center of Bormio was truly rejuvenating. For those seeking the perfect blend of the medieval atmosphere of the village and the convenience of having everything within easy reach, this centrally located hotel is unbeatable. The property is surrounded by quaint alleyways, historic shops, and excellent restaurants. The ski lifts are within easy reach. The room is in classic Alpine style: lots of wood, warm and welcoming, clean, and meticulously maintained. Despite its central location, the silence during the day and night is unparalleled. Breakfast was the highlight: a rich buffet of local products, pastries straight from their bakery, and delicious cured meats from Valtellina. The on-site owners and extremely courteous and helpful staff made our stay one of pure relaxation! Highly recommended!

We stayed a couple of days and had a wonderful time. The hotel is very centrally located, with excellent parking (for a fee). The room was very nice, the staff was friendly, and the breakfast was wonderful.

This hotel is a 5 STAR! We feel like keeping it to ourselves so we can always make our family booking, however this would not be fair to the hotel owners & excellent staff. Just everything about this boutque hotel is superb. Cannot wait to return as a family.

The hotel is located right in the center of Bormio, which is really convenient. There are parking lots nearby. The building is new, our room was comfortable, and the biscuits in the room were much appreciated. The breakfast is fantastic: real, fresh croissants, not pre-baked ones, as they come from the bakery next door. The girls who welcomed us were lovely and kind. If we return to Bormio, we will definitely stay at the San Vitale again!

The hotel is centrally located but accessible by car for loading and unloading luggage (they also recommend a covered garage a few steps away at a reasonable cost). Wonderful welcome, with much-appreciated gifts (wine and toasted bread). Amazing breakfast with fresh baked goods and hot dishes made to order included in the price. The rooms (a mini-apartment for us, a couple with a newborn, and a suite for my parents) were very beautiful and comfortable. It was also nice to be able to use the relaxation area with sauna, booking directly with the hotel even without much notice. Luggage can be left after checkout, and what more can I say except that the girls, all of them, are simply wonderful: kind, professional, very sweet even to my daughter, and excellent at recommending various activities (both sports and culinary). We will definitely be back. I don't usually write reviews, but this time it was worth it. 10 out of 10. See you soon, hugs to everyone 💜 Elisa

Hotel San Vitale is a gem of Bormio! The breakfast is delicious, featuring freshly baked pastries and local delicacies. The staff is super attentive. We'll definitely be back!

We only stayed one night as we were on our way to Bolzano and the Dolomites. The hotel was fabulous, they sent the day before instructions on how to get to the hotel, where to drop off bags and then on arrival advised us where to park the car. Bormio is a lovely town and worth an extra day or two for walks or to go to the Spas in the area. Our room was clean, comfortable and quiet, the shower hot and with strong water pressure. Breakfast is incredible, a full offering of cooked breakfast and the garden terrace across the street from the hotel is a gem. Super friendly lady who advised us on what wines to try and a huge breadboard of treats comes out to have with your drinks. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Our fifth year and what a lovely place Deserves more than 3 stars Right in the top end of the town lots of bars and restaurants close by Owners and staff are amazing always stop for a chat and work really hard to keep the place running at a high standard Breakfast has so many options I would highly recommend if you are coming to beautiful bormio

The hotel seems very new, clean and nice everywhere. Large and beautiful room with plenty of space. Could have the bike there without it being noticed. They had a bike room too. The bathroom was also large. The hotel also has an agreement with a parking company where you can park underground. The service at the Hotel was always pleasant and on the offer side. Although the breakfast table is a bit unfamiliar from what I'm used to in Norway, I found cereal, yogurt, some wholemeal bread and was given a menu where I could choose, among other things like omelette, fried egg with bacon, pancakes. And not least fantastic freshly brewed coffee. The hotel is highly recommended.
