We were impressed with the hotel and staff. Sam and his Mother were professional and made sure our stay was great. The breakfast was delicious and had many options aswell. We would highly recommend this hotel, you’ll be impressed also 🙂

Electrical points need some care as only one point to charge phones iPad etc

Nice hotel running by family, Roger and his son Somuelle were very nice and gave us advice how to park car in the town, Mountain View’s, walked once upstairs, othe time parked car near lake for free

The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. The food at the Hotel restaurant was amazing. The breakfast was well worth the extra cost.

The staff go above and beyond and lovely pool/courtyard.

Better places This place needs a major renovation. The beds are horrible, hard, the pillow are hard and flat, towels are dingy and the wifi sucks in the bedrooms. I complained and they said they fixed it well they didn’t. The pool has cracks inside the only thing great is the location to the ferry and the breakfast was good.

One of the most elegant hotels I've ever stayed in. Beautiful architecture and art work with the most amazing views of Lake Como. The pool and surround grounds were perfect for relaxation. The breakfast had made to order plates and t g e buffet items were extensive. Every staff member were very attentive to our needs.

Absolutely fabulous place! The staff was amazing and went above and beyond. Room was spacious with two bathrooms and a terrace, plus some lovely treats left in our room on a daily basis. Breakfast was so delicious and abundant - fresh juice and fruits, hot buffet, cheeses, meats and breads. And the view! Stunning. I didn’t want to leave!

Amazing experience and luxury hotel - starting from lobby, room, spa and beach club. Everyone there was so helpful and yes for everything we ask during our stay. I should mention Lorena was amazing and always was there for help with her team and she is in particular made our stay unique and enjoyable.

Worst 5 star hotel we have stayed in. They are a fairly new 5 star hotel (4 star before their extension) and this showed in their customer service. You can't beat this hotel for views across the lake! Rooms are very nice, if not big, and the view from an upper floor balcony is wonderful. Staff were helpful and nice, and the breakfast good. It would have got 5 stars, but the separately run restaurant was a bit pricey with limited choice - it would have been nice to eat there more often, but we chose to go into town most nights.

Perfectly located. Nice pool and lounge area. Our "attic" room was quite tiny. But was clean and well furnished and appointed. The breakfast service was very nice. The restaurant denied us patio seating without reservations, despite being half empty throughout the meal. And restaurant prices were somewhat high for the area.

My husband and I had a wonderful 3 night stay at the hotel bellavista, front desk staff were very kind and our room was clean with a beautiful view, staff helped us with our transfer to Milan as well. The location was perfect, and we enjoyed spending our afternoons by the pool overlooking the lake. The same can not be said about the hotel restaurant staff unfortunately.

Awesome room view for the price range. Had the attic room on the 4th floor. Only problem i had was the low water pressure of the shower head (might be due to the type of shower head). Loved everything else

We loved our stay. The balcony overlooking Lake Como was amazing but the best part was the awesome service. We had a luggage mishap and Simona at the front deck went above and beyond to help us. Thank you!

Wonderful stay. We booked late but luckily there was a lake view room available- absolutely worth upgrading to. Fabulous view across the little square to the lake, there was actually a private party on at the restaurant downstairs so we got a singer and fireworks show! My girlfriend and I had an amazing stay here! The staff were so nice and very helpful!! The only critique I have is that perhaps the management could introduce an improved selection at breakfast or serve a hot breakfast! Our non-smoking room had a beautiful patio view, but smoke from the street and nearby diners made it difficult to keep the door open. Rooms on higher floors would avoid this issue.

We stayed here for 2 nights in early October 2025. It’s not the fanciest hotel but it has a great location. The bed was hard. Pillows were good. Great shower with hot water! Loved that our balcony opened up with a view of the lake. Lovely shops and dining all around. If you want more of a budget friendly stay in a good location close to the ferry then this will work well for you!

Great location and we really liked Menaggio. Hotel is clean and well maintained. Liked the owners / management team. Staff in the cafe was moody and inconsistent. Hotel is good value. Menaggio is a little calmer and more real compared to trendier Bellagio and Varenna.

The cleanliness and amenities were comparable to a regular hostel. There was no place to put things in the shower room, which was a bit of a problem, but you could put things on top of the heater in the shower room at the very back on the second floor. They also provided drink tickets, which was nice, but beer wasn't included. 😂 The view from the room was amazing!

Great vibe, and great value! It is in front of the lake. I had an adventure before I arrive there as was late storms and no transport. But managed it. It is clean. Plenty of toilets and showers. The guy at the reception was really good even offered to pick me up when he had to finish his shift. Also he offered me a slice of his pizza as I could not find anywhere with my adventures.
