Gorgeous property, location, amenities, hospitality and food! Only wish is if hotel had a bar to sit at. The hotel has a full bar and a library to sit where they serve drinks, but cannot sit at the bar. Overall, cannot wait to return someday. The view was picture perfect and the service was top notch.

This hotel was simply beautiful and modern with the best service staff and delectable breakfast brunch. One of the nicest views in Lake Como region is right outside your hotel room. The hotel is well located, opposite the ferry terminal. It meets the requirements of a 3-star hotel.

The hotel is well located, right where the ferries depart, but it's quite old; the elevator is broken. The buffet breakfast was good, but several items were out of stock.

Hotel Excelsior Splendide is in a perfect spot for travel to LAKE COMO , centrally located with steps to the many ferries that stop there daily. Within 1000 feet are 4 ports for everything from car boats to fast boats and water taxis. Bellagio is very hilly with steps that seem to go on forever. This property was fantastic! The staff was super friendly and very helpful. This hotel offers shuttle service which was a lifesaver that takes you near the ferry. The food at this hotel was also very delicious, everything was fresh and they had a great variety of choices. They upgraded our room and the view was breathtaking! I love this place and would definitely recommend others to go here

The hotel is located about a 15-minute walk from the main part of Bellagio. The hotel is a bit dated, but very well maintained, and the rooms are modern. We were traveling by motorcycle, and parking is available for guests. The breakfast is varied and plentiful. We appreciated the efficient air conditioning in our room during those beautiful hot and humid summer days.

A lovely small hotel that offered a friendly reception and a breakfast with so much on offer. The parking was ideal too. A sensible 15 minute stroll to the centre of Bellagio which was a plus to have a break from the masses. A little dated but this added to its charm. Pescallo is just 5-10 mins if you fancy a swim before breakfast. We did.

Very nice place. We stayed for two nights, the staff was very friendly and helpful, rooms were clean, and you can safely park your car in a nice parking spot inside the Hotel area.

I don’t know if it is but it comes across as a family run business, it’s all a bit dated but OK. It’s located in easy walking distance from the town and has basic amenities and a car park. The staff, particularly the team at breakfast, were very helpful.

Fantastic Italian villa with original architecture and furniture. The rooms are spacious and very clean. There is a swimming pool and kids playground outside plus on-site restaurant with a playroom for kids. Hospitable and responsive staff. Humble yet charming little hotel in the very heart of Bellagio. In a place like Bellagio location is everything, and the view from the terrace is stunning. Highly recommended for adventurers who don't need luxuries and are out and about often.

we did not stay here. but a lunch stop here was totally worth it. it overlooks the lake and the Aperol spritz were awesome here. You should have the Frutti di mare linguini. It was the most delicious.

The owner is the kindest and most patient host you could ask for! Perfect service but be prepared for the middle of nowhere!

We stopped here for lunch after a hike. We were a big group with small children too, but the staff were great with us. The pizzoccheri and polenta were particularly tasty, and the wine was nice too, all at very reasonable prices. I would definitely come back!

Excellent choice for authentic mountain food at extremely reasonable prices only 20 minutes from Bellagio. We have been going here for more than 35 years. I strongly reccomend it.

A delicious taste of rustic Alpine cuisine, in a setting that to this American suggested Swiss more than Italy, high above elegant Lake Como. We enjoyed the hearty meats and copious servings of polenta and a particularly tasty Italian red. Dessert included delicious wild blueberries.

Hotel was ok, we didn’t find it wonderful as per some reviews sadly. No air conditioning. Didn’t feel staff were approachable if I’m being honest. Out of our 9 stops on our road trip through Italy, 1 being wonderful, it ranked number 6 for us.

We had a great 2 nights stay at villa la Rosa. Amazing view from the room and swimming pool, very nice and helpful staff, they arranged the early check-in. I will definitely come back to villa la Rosa for the next trip to bellagio !
