I had an unacceptable experience at Aldebaran in Milan. On my first night, I found live bed bugs on the bed and wall before even unpacking. Staff arrived with insect spray (suggesting prior knowledge) and implied I brought them, which is impossible as I came directly from home. I was forced to either stay in the infested room or leave at my own expense late at night. I returned the next day and was moved to another room, where I again found bed bugs and woke up with multiple bites. Despite staff seeing them, I was blamed and accused of bringing them via my luggage. I left immediately and was given only a partial refund despite my stay being unusable. I had to book another hotel last-minute, which had no issues. This hotel shows no responsibility, no hygiene standards, and no concern for guest safety. I strongly advise others to avoid staying here. Reporting this hotel!

When you go on a trip and decide on a hotel, there are two options: you choose it to enjoy its facilities or you choose it just to spend the night. We chose this hotel for the latter and in Milan it is a very good option because it was safe, it is close to the Loreto metro station and the price compared to other nearby hotels is acceptable; the old rooms and the shared bathroom were not a problem for me. Do I recommend it? Yes, just to sleep. Information: they accept check-in until 11 pm for free, it is on the right side of the McDonald's, some rooms have a small balcony (photos), I booked it through booking and everything was fine!!

Very convenient, lots of amenities around and a subway station at the foot of the hotel. The room is clean and the bathrooms (shared) too. A kitchen with microwave and coffee is available, we are finally between the hostel and the hotel. Small problem on the ease of finding and entering the hotel, which made us go round in circles

Spartan structure, basically it is two shared apartments of which the individual rooms are rented. However, it does not have a shady feel, the price is proportionate, it is very well connected to the center via the metro, it is sufficiently maintained, it is clean, it is located in a fairly elegant neighborhood and the owner is extremely helpful. For those who can give up luxury and have no problem sharing a bathroom for a few days it is ideal. I really think I will return. The only flaw is the internal door, which I found open even at night (the individual rooms are locked, but the doors have large windows).

We didn't go, but they charged us and the customer service has been so bad (in fact, it hasn't even existed) that we have had to file several complaints. If you want to know more, we will tell you our case. I insist, it is our experience, demonstrable, but our experience. We booked one night in January with check-in on March 2 and check-out on March 3. The advertisement clearly states FREE CANCELLATION and payment upon check-in at the establishment. On the same day of the reservation, we cancelled, and we were charged the price of the stay. We contacted the establishment to clarify the error, since the cancellation was almost immediately after the reservation and more than two months in advance. They did not pay any attention to us, they only reiterated that their cancellation policy does not accept refunds. We have tried to contact them to resolve the problem in a friendly manner, even accepting an equivalent reservation for another date, but they do not respond. In the end, we have filed official complaints. So terrible treatment, no credibility or guarantee. I advise you not to go, or if you go, do not trust them: tie everything up tightly, because they do not respond.

Do not stay at this Hotel Bed Bugs Bed bugs Bed bugs, all sizes and all types, you can't sleep, owners know about issue and they try to act like they dont know, even they try to put it on you as if you had brought it in.

AWESOME APARTMENT
The most horrible and disgusting housing.
After one night there, I counted 32 BUG bites on myself.
Then the weekend in Milan turned into hell because I had a terrible allergy and had to look for a hospital.
I recommend that the owner of the apartment reconsider his attitude to this and call an inspection that will process the premises from these monstrosities.

Location and room was ok, but very noisy most of night because of the traffic. Shared bathroom on corridor. Breakfast was selfservice, what you find in fridge. There wasnt much. You can also use kitchen which is nice. Owner had dont bother me air.

The rooms are fine, beds are okay, bathrooms were really nice, but on the hallway and not private. Biggest problem was noise, pretty much did not get any sleep because of the poor windows and our fan was extremely loud, no AC which in a city this hot is a real downside. Location is great though, very close to the metro. Service was friendly.

The good ones first. Max and his wife (The owners) are nice. Kitchen is always open to feed us. The place is located right in the heart of the city with plenty of shops literally a few steps away. They have decent sized rooms too. It is very accessible and the metro station is right in front and Milano Centrale is one stop away.
The bad side: they do not have air conditioning, they have 2 shared bathrooms that are separate from any of the rooms which means you have to step out of your room each time you need to use them, and they sometimes have fluctuating hot water issues.
Overall, it was still good. Max provided us with electric fans and we're okay considering it is September. I assume it maybe a bit unbearable if it were August or earlier. The separate bathroom is an issue if you have a child or an elderly. If it were me and my wife only, we would probably come back because the price is unbeatable. The rooms are on the second floor which maybe an issue to others as well. They do have a lift which is pretty old and expectedly tiny.
Hopefully people find these helpful.
