Hotel Orchidea in Torino

I don’t usually write bad reviews, but I feel I need to share this experience. Unfortunately, our stay here was not good at all. The staff was not kind or welcoming, and we had several problems during our visit. One of the rooms even had a hole in the wall with trash inside — very unpleasant to see. Overall, the hotel felt poorly maintained and not comfortable, except for the location which was convenient.

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. I really hope management can improve things for future guests.

I chose this hotel for the location: close to the train station, in a non touristy area, with several restaurants around and, most of all, in a quiet street. Unfortunately, the hotel is all but quiet.
There was a group of 10 to 12 years old children staying there and at 2:30 I wake up with them shouting and banging doors as if they were in the playground. I had to call reception twice because they didn't know how to handle the situation.
At first, I thought it was just bad luck. When I saw some of the rooms had bunk beds or 3 beds lined up side by side, I realised they're probably used to cater for these groups and don't worry about other guests discomfort. In the morning, after kids had left, it was the staff that would make the noise, shouting at each other across the stairwell, as if they were in a market.
The room was tight but just enough. The shower cubicle was definitely a cubicle! Unless you're traveling with a group of children, stay away from this place!

I would not give even one star!Reason?First of all i had to call 15 times for someone to answer the phone,second of all they do not know How to Comunicate with clients.The lady on the phone didn’t understand english at all.My problem was that i needed the room from 10:30 in the morning only untill 15:30 same day to rest between My Flights And of course paying full day.They reply on email only After i’ve send 3 emails,And Said check in it’s only After 15:00 And they will not make refund.All of this starting with the booking And emails And everithing took 1 hour

Try not to go to the Orchid Hotel for the following reasons: small and unclean rooms. The entrance to the rooms is very narrow! The shower room is very small. A weak stream of water. The reception service is bad and not patient. No parking - Be warned not to park the car inside - there is also a charge and a danger to the vehicle. Breakfast is bad.

I was a guest at the hotel a few days ago. Contrary to what is touted, I have not found anything satisfying. The room has just the minimum requirements of habitability, in terms of comfort and cleanliness. The toilets are dilapidated, with a shower that opens with difficulty, the doors, dirty and all around is sealed by an obscene umbilical cord.
The breakfast, then it is extremely poor, below an acceptable standard.

Convenient to Porta Susa railway station, well served by public transport. Prices in the media but needs to be modernised. Cleaning to care for than most.
