A wonderful hotel experience. Friendly staff, beautiful pool and the best breakfast we have had in Sardinia. Many thanks to Alina for her excellent hospitality, keeping our room immaculate and tourist recommendations. Much appreciated!

Good points first, the view from our sea view room was great, good aircon, short walk to a great beach, drinks at the bar were good and the breakfast was decent too. The nearby city Palau is great for food options, night market and boat trips. However, where it falls short... The room was not maintained well, the mattress was borderline painful to sleep on. Walking into Palau takes around 20 minutes...

everything was excellent, amazing place. no complaints about anything other than the wifi, which did not work in our room. Wifi at the reception was working appropriately thou. giving 5 stars overall

Beautiful rustic style structure on the outskirts of Palau, our room with balcony always clean and comfortable, very kind staff, very good breakfast with a wide choice from sweet to savory. The swimming pool is beautiful with spectacular views over the entire valley. Recommended for a pleasant stay in Palau.

Very old and simple facilities. We do not understand that it has 4 stars, it does not deserve them. We chose it simply to be close to Palau, to take the excursion to La Maddalena. Too expensive for what it offers

Great place to stay in Palau – the staff are super friendly and helpful. It has a beautiful view over La Maddalena Island. Also, it’s very easy to find parking around the hotel. I definitely recommend it if you’re planning to stay in Palau!

Hotel Palau is ok at best but is most definitely not 4 stars. For context we stayed for 5 nights and whilst fine would not recommend staying longer as it would become repetitive whilst there are other places to explore (especially on La Maddalena). We only had a brief one night here from being on a boat ride during the day. The room is pretty basic with old, tired furniture and the place has an old Benidorm type feel to it. The breakfast is a bit of a scrum with the masses and we were glad to be moving on. Fine for a quick stop over but I wouldn’t want to stay there for an extended period.

We were in this village in June 2025, all in all the holiday went well but there is something to improve: 1) when we arrived we had a lot of luggage and I would have expected at least a trolley to carry the suitcases 2) there are no rubbish bins especially in the pool, but also bins outside the structure, in short throwing away the rubbish is really a feat. 3) the mini club would have been convenient...

We were worried that it would be too quiet but the kids joined in the beach / sea activities, used the pools, played tennis etc so there was enough to do. We really enjoyed our stay. Our host was very friendly and gave us very nice advice to visit the area. Petra Manna is very quiet, well decorated with beautiful garden and view. There is a bus stop nearby, shops, 20 minutes to the beaches, about the same to the port. The rooms are OK, with balconies or an exit to the lawn, on the ground floors. No kettle, which is not very convenient. The city center is close, but not very close, a little tiring in the heat

The hotel is very well located (15 minutes walk from the beach and the city center) It is very easy to park in front. Very quiet area. The staff is very welcoming. The rooms are large, clean and ours had a small balcony with 1 table, 2 chairs and a very practical drying rack for drying towels after the beach. Buffet breakfast very good.

We stayed here in october. We booked a 1 bedroom appartment and got a free upgrade to a 2 bedroom appartment. The size of the appartment was a big positive thing of our stay here. However the beds were very old and awful. There was also no hot water to take a shower. Furthermore 1 pool was closed and in the remaining one you had to wear a shower cap. The view of the La Maddelena islands was lovely. Definitely ask for a room with a view. The parking was in a dirt lot near one of the entrances. It cost extra and was worth it since I didn’t see any available parking on the narrow streets.

The room we had was overlooking the port with a large balcony. It was uphill so we had a good passaggiata walking to town for dinner and back. There is no elevator so be prepared to carry luggage up a winding wooden staircase. There is an upper parking lot where you can put your luggage to avoid the staircase if the fire door is open.

Is a nice 3 star property in a middle class neighborhood. Had issues finding it due to wrong address on Expidia app. Bed was uncomfortable and everything else was humble. The best thing about the hotel “ B&B” is the View and the Front Desk manager who was exceptionally helpful and friendly 💖💖💖

Excellent camping, good restaurant and friendly staff BUT there is too much trash abandoned by tourists in the bushes!!! This is very disapponting, the trash containers are there, do people want to swim in garbage? If not pls use the garbage containers!!! While the location of the hotel was convenient, the overall experience left much to be desired. The room and services were underwhelming, falling short of expectations. Although the property has a pool, it is inexplicably closed during the day from 1:00 PM to 3:30 PM, which seems rather inconvenient. Unfortunately, these factors made for a disappointing stay.

Welcoming reception, who were very helpful later when we had to add an extra night to our stay due to ferry cancellations. Good sized room with everything we need, not over looked by others. Nice outdoor seating area. The pizza bar was very good, the Rio restaurant staff were fine but the food awful. The grounds were nice, and easy walk to the beach in the lagoon.

Cons: We were put off by the fact that they gave us so many instructions on the recycling so they can charge us 70 euros for cleaning services and in 5 days no one ever came into the room to clean anything. This is one of those places that will take your breathe away. The view is incredible and the food served at the restaurant will leave your mouth watering. I was literally salivating at every bite. I finished the meal and thought “i only have 3 nights left in Sardinia and i need to eat here again”.

Best experience in Sardinia - stunning views of Corsica with bright, innovative wines and amazing, refined food. But it’s the generous hospitality that will keep us coming back. Giovanni and his team could not have been warmer - we were treated like family on a tour of the vineyard and a tasting that went late into the night. Could not recommend more highly!

We had an amazing time here! Our host Angela was so kind. The setting was serene, overlooking the Mediterranean Sea and vineyards.
