Solsicily B&B in Catania

ATTENTION! NOT SAFE! WORST EXPERIENCE! Me and my friend have booked a room in this hotel, we arrived at catania at 12 and with the bus at San Berillo district after 20 minutes. The area at night is not safe especially if you are a girl. The hotel is in one of the worst streets of this area, there are only brothels, full of drunk men that harassed us and pimps everywhere sitting on the road. It seemed like a sex-work ghetto area. Although we were really afraid we managed to arrive at the front door of the hotel and the owner, Christian had not left the key for us in the locker. We called him a lot of times but he never answered, people were passing and asking if we work for sex and we could not get in the apartment. After an hour the owner of the hotel answered the phone and he just said ''Sorry, i forgot to left the key for you''. We never paid of course, and we changed hotel. DO NOT GO TO THIS HOTEL, ESPECIALLY GIRLS.Not safe at all, specially at night. It is not a matter of racism or problems with sex workers, the problem was that the area is not safe at all, the owner of the hotel is not trustworthy at all, we were just lucky and managed to leave this place. I cannot understand why it has so many good reviews, maybe fake? But for sure do not recommend it, specially for girls.

There was no misunderstanding as you told us on the phone you forgot to put the keys in the box. What you say is misleading the location of the apartment is dangerous, we contacted other residents of Catania and they confirmed it. And also the building next to your hotel is also a brothel as the most buildings in these street, regardless of how we approached the hotel from google maps.
