The room was decent, clean, and tidy. It's close to the sea with a private access path, though it's not a sandy beach

The swimming pool is open normally, and the hotel has obviously been renovated and is not in a very old state. Everything is good, and you don't need to walk to the 534 bus to the city center, but the time is very random

Right on the water with views of the sea from both rooms. Very relaxed, nicely appointed, open and modern yet natural feeling. Loved the art exhibit on every floor

The service was up to par. The toilet was substandard, the floor was slippery, and the room facilities were old. The yogurt at breakfast was in a bucket, not a cup! Omelettes were available for an additional fee.

Very particular hotel but with swimming pool and beach included. Better to have a car, it is located in a somewhat peripheral area

The door of the room is unique and big enough. The service is nice. It is close to the airport and train station. It is the best choice for a one-day trip to Catania via Taormina. The breakfast is also very good.

We had a balcony view to the sea. The hotel is a mix of old and new. The restaurant was perfect for dinner. The front desk clerk was very accommodating and arranged a taxi for us to the airport

Enjoyable Stay Overall We had read the mixed reviews about the hotel and after staying there are more positives than negatives - good location , lovely pool area and sea terrace, helpful staff, comfortable bed , excellent housekeeping however the hotel does need some updating and parts need cleaning such as the lift windows and balcony furniture , more choices for eggs at breakfast would be nice

The beautiful beach a few meters from the bungalow. Nearby there are restaurants, bars and a Lidl reachable in a few minutes by car. Bus stop for Catania center right at the entrance of the structure

I rarely write reviews, but Michael at the front desk is really worthy of praise. He is very enthusiastic and helpful👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻. He also helped us upgrade to a seaside room

Grand Hotel Baia Verde is a nice resort hotel.  Unfortunately we came in the off season so some amenities like the pool and access to the sea were not available

  Our room was a recently renovated room and was very clean with a balcony.  The views in the morning were fantastic watching the sun rise up over the sea.   It’s about a 20 minute drive into the centre of Catania

 Breakfast buffet was wonderful and the hotel bar was also nice.   Hotel grounds were well kept and very scenic. Parking is onsite in a secure lot

It's a pity that I can only stay in this city for one night. Although it is not a sea view room, you can still see a piece of sea, which is more charming when combined with the garden view

A beautiful hotel set on the cliff just outside Catania - rooms are big, have AC, well serviced, great pool (30m plus x 20), great pool bar, amazing buffet breakfast, access to sea. Lovely for a family holiday.

Great hotel with beautiful pool and view to the sea. There are stairs in the cliffs that ket you step down to the sea. Free WIFI and free parking.

the rooms are a bit outdates, curtains are dirty and I booked a room with seaviews but I could see the tiniest bit of sea. Overall ok, beds comfortable, nice staff but overpriced.

The only room complaint was that the AC did not cool the room to a comfortable temperature. We did not have any food or drink here. I would not recommend this hotel unless you need something close to the airport

Spent the night here because of its proximity to the Catania airport and the fact that I like this chain of hotels. The room was clean and comfortable

We arrived around 9pm and were leaving at 4am so it was really just a place to stay. The shower would not drain so my partner took it apart and fixed it which was disgusting. The room was hot and never cooled off

Not a great start as we had an interconnecting room and both our door and the one next to us were not locked. Someone was already occupying the room next door

The unit itself had a small kitchen which would have been nice if we were there long, a bedroom with 3 twin beds and when you walk in, that also was a bedroom with a double (really 2 twins together with a sheet over them)

The bathroom was ok - not super clean (ants on the floor) and the shower drain did no such thing. We used all the towels to soak up the flooded floor because there is nothing in the bathroom floor for that

Breakfast was some croissants that when we went 30 min after it opened were 80% gone and after sitting there for 10 min were never filled back up so we left without eating. That was pretty disappointing

That was the best part of the place and we were only able to use it long enough to get some photos before we had to check out to go to work

So-so Photos are not super accurate. It has an RV park area, a camping area as well as the units

The hotel is magnificent, with a beautiful little garden and corridors. The staff speaks excellent English, making communication easy. They are warm, friendly, and very helpful. The 24-hour front desk is a rare find

We arrived at the hotel where we were greeted by the reception staff who were very polite and pleasant and they checked us in quickly and with clear directions to our room and instructions on where to get breakfast and the roof top restaurant

The food was amazing and the continental breakfast was more than adequate. The room was clean and comfortable and all staff friendly and helpful. Reception took care of taxis to and from the city and to the airport

The location is superb. Accessibility is excellent, no matter where you go. Facilities are mediocre. For those who go out in the morning and come back late at night, it is excellent in terms of cost performance.

My wife and I spent 13 days at this hotel. The hotel is at the center of the main street in Catania. From the balcony we saw Etna spewing the lava. Our room was big, bathroom nice and clean

Excellent cheaper restaurants nearby. hmmm, resolved yourself (not easy). Very stylish once ready so I believe. Not everyone speaks Spanish, English or German though

The hotel is alittle outsider of center . It's quiet place with swimming pool , Tennis ... , friendly and helpful staff from reception to restaurant 😀 . Private parking and Beach just cross the street .

The building and rooms are spectacular and you can even get a wonderful view of Mount Etna from the rooftop balcony at the breakfast room. If I go back to Catania, I wouldn't stay anywhere else

My family has been coming to Villa del Bosco for decades. While it has certainly changed now, and continues to evolve with ongoing renovations, the setting and structure are beautiful

The ordering system for the 24/7 bar and cafe is a bit confusing if you are not good with technology - you must order it yourself and add it to your tab on an “honesty” system via your phone or the iPad they provide

It is a very quick and easy trip to get to the center of Catania as well. Breakfast is sufficient with yogurts, breads, fruits, and other options directly from the kitchen made fresh for you

Ideal location away from Catania overlooking a fishing harbour and a short walk to train station. You can't buy a ticket there and it is worrying as you have to 'validate ' your ticket before you get on the train!

After I was settled, he walked me around the neighborhood pointing out his favorite restaurants and told me about some of the attractions in Catania

a 24 hrs open surveilled garage available just one block away, just make sure to get the right directions if you arrive in the morning as its entrance is hidden between market stands

On the other hand, it is located in the center of Catania so you have everything at your fingertips, including a nice terrace to enjoy an after dinner drink in peace

I had the pleasure of spending a few days at B&B La Perla during my visit to Catania, and I must say it was one of the best experiences of my travel life! The property is located in an excellent spot, just a few minutes' walk from the main attractions of the city, such as the cathedral, the market, and picturesque streets with local shops and restaurants

Massimiliano was very friendly and helpful. B&B is in a beautiful Baroque facade building. B&B is very cozy, and eclectic, with art work everywhere. Coffee and tea is readily available and shared kitchen is very handy

B&B is well located in Catania with many interesting sites, cafes, and mini marts nearby. Highly recommend Trattoria Mare for great Sicilian dishes at non-tourist prices

We had a good experience staying here for 1 night. It is close to lots of shops/restaurants. The self-check in was an easy process as they sent video tutorials to get into the building and room

Once checked in, they even called use to make sure accommodations were to our liking. They even arranged a transfer for us to the airport so we could catch our flight early in the morning
