HSL is a nice small hotel, conveniently located near the center of the Historic center of Poppi. My wife and I drove there, and Google Maps didn't do so well, advising us incorrectly that we had arrived at our destination. A call to the hotel resolvedit; the excellent desk clerk guided us real time out of the center, around the congestion and one-way streets, back up the hill and into their parking...

historic structure strategically positioned to visit the enchanting medieval village dominated by the castle of the Guidi counts, Poppi! Easily reachable by car and enjoys a wonderful view! Very clean environment, excellent breakfast and very kind and helpful staff. Highly recommended! Take it!

Beautiful room with amazing view When I was booking the hotel I saw a review complaining about the decor - crazy! The room is super large and beautifully decorated with a very authentic style. The view from our room was breathtaking. Location was perfect. Things to consider - no AC, just fan... in July, not great. Breakfast is good, but kind of simple and few options if you have food allergies. Parking...

Located in old central Poppi adjacent to the castle of count guidi. Excellent breakfast provided. Incredible view from our room. Very spacious room with comfortable bed. Wife gives five stars for the shower! Within walking distance to the entire central “old” Poppi and to the downtown Poppi area. Staff was very friendly and accommodated our every need.

I was struck by the cleanliness of the room and bathroom. Very kind and helpful staff. Nice view. Just a few flaws: it lacks private parking, fridge and air conditioning. For the rest, a charming little hotel, unpretentious, but welcoming. Good morning breakfast.

The staff were exceptionally friendly and had great suggestions for local cuisine. The pool area was serene, the location was quiet and picturesque and the room was spotless when we arrived.

Really enjoyed my stay at Parc Hotel, staff was most helpful and amiable, they make you feel welcome. The food at the restaurant is great! Pizza is one of the best ever had in Italy!

The entrance is very clean and easy to find.

Very close to the castle of Poppi and one of the main squares, with a super nice bar. Great view of the surrounding area and the Tuscan mountains. We had dinner there, in the garden, and the food was amazing.

We went for one night and stayed for 8! The owners were lovely, the accomodations were comfortable and the whole experience was great.

The best Ragu I had during my stay in Italy, and one great restaurant

Tasty food. The restaurant offers varied dishes from the Italian cuisine. We liked the pasta with ragu and the beef slices with rosemary.

We were given the smallest n darkest room possible. Had to ask to change the rooms. But was only one room can be changed out of 2 we asked for. Resturant food was not good. They had a party at the same time. All attention were diverted. Our dishes were cold. Location was perfect. Opposite poppi Castle.

Room was small but comfy and very, very clean. View was absolutely lovely, furniture has an old timey feel to it which I very much enjoyed. Do not expect fancy, new stuff, this is an old building with its own charm and quite rustic, nevertheless the bathrooms are fully equipped and spotless. Did I mention how clean it was? Very clean. Did the booking on a whim as the place I was recommended did not...

A magical place, meticulously maintained down to the smallest detail. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was wonderful! We stayed at Torrei dei Sogni and there are no words to describe its beauty. We will definitely be back.

My husband and I stayed 2 days at Casa nel bosco la nuvola... a spectacle of nature... a magical place... peace and tranquility... Attention to the smallest details and particulars... Mrs. Chiara at the reception was very kind... the owner's son Lapo was very sweet... the wonderful owner... I highly recommend going... and returning as soon as possible...

Very idyllic place where you can relax away from the hustle and bustle. Alma and Uwe are attentive hosts and varied with delicious food. The rooms are a house from the 16th Century according to simple, but lovingly furnished. Recommended by us!

Wonderful place for groups, the old country house has a distinctive flair. Fantastic location overlooking Poppi, the castle and the surrounding hills. The associated lake a minute from the house invites you to swim. And Alma and Uwe do everything to make their guests feel good. Will definitely come back.

A jewel surrounded by nature. Very nice renovated farmhouse that can accommodate single people or groups. A seminar / dance / music room, a group kitchen, a spacious garden and a private pond make it a very pleasant place. The couple managing the place is very friendly. Dream holidays!

The historic building, the wild nature and the loving care by Alma and Uwe make the Casa Purgatorio a very special place, to which I return again and again for many years.
