Agriturismo I Bonsi in Reggello

We got married here and hosted our friends and family as well on the property. The entire staff were so gracious, accommodating, kind and wonderful! 10/5 stars easy!!! The grounds are stunning, the rooms are incredible. They even brought fans for us to use in the rooms which made everything so comfortable for us! We loved sharing such a special memory here and definitely want to come back on holiday in the future!!

Good and kind

As soon as we arrived at Il Bonsi near Regello Italy, we knew that we were in for an incredible and memorable adventure. Our daughter had chosen the location for her wedding venue based on its beauty and history but also because of the host’s responsiveness and professionalism. We were no less impressed as we met Giacomo and all the wonderful staff we dealt with. We hosted her wedding with about 85 people. The venue is a fortified farmhouse (castle) on acres of natural land that includes olive trees. We especially liked that they provide six apartments which we used for the wedding party and guests. These apartments were multi-room and had kitchens. In addition the grounds were lovely to walk around and boasted a large pool. They provided a delicious breakfast each morning also. The site for the welcome party that was held on Friday evening had the most incredible Tuscan sun setting. The reception and pizza dinner were cozy and allowed everyone to get to know each other before the big day. The venue partners with a nearby hotel that the rest of the guests were able to stay at, and we also arranged for a shuttle to bring these guests to and from the venue. This worked out extremely well. For the wedding day, there was plenty of space for everyone to get dressed and ready. The ceremony was amidst the olive trees with chairs in the grass. We had gorgeous Tuscan weather. The ceremony was beautiful but then we were ushered to the 19th century garden for a happy hour event before the dinner reception. Beautiful rock fixtures, a couple of peacocks and the open air areas around the castle lent to a magnificent visual and very calming experience. We had planned to have the reception among the trees but because the weather that evening was uncertain we ended up having three long tables under lights next to the castle. It was so stunning and surreal. The staff at the castle and the catering staff we hired were absolutely amazing and provided exactly the type of destination wedding experience you would imagine. We were so thrilled at how everything transpired. After the reception, we had dancing in the wine cellar of the castle which was also a fun and entertaining event with lots of guests having a wonderful time until very late. There were so many opportunities for unique photography and we were not disappointed in the innumerable backdrops this place provides. I would highly recommend this location if you are considering a destination wedding or other event. It is only 45 minutes by train or car from Florence Italy. You will not be disappointed!

It was amazing! Rustic, peaceful, and relaxing. The staff were wonderful. We very much enjoyed our stay.

Visiting this place is pure pleasure. The host is very helpful and nice. You can see that he runs this place with passion and great commitment. You can feel the hospitality from the staff. The garden and animals make you feel at home. The apartments are spacious, clean and the beds are comfortable. Visiting the cellar where they make the olive oil was fantastic. We will definitely come back and buy more olive oil!

What a marvelous ten days spent in this most splendid villa!! The accommodations were the best! The grounds were immaculate and comfortable. The pool was awesome! Watching the beautiful peacocks stroll along the grounds was a delight. The staff was more than I ever imagined. Olive grove on the grounds as well as a vineyard. Definitely in my top five places to visit. I'll do my best to return one day soon!

We had our wedding at Bonsi in September 2023, and we absolutely loved the place. The property is so gorgeous and authentic with various areas to explore, full of beautiful nature and adorable resident animals. Giacomo, the owner, really makes this place so special. He truly cares about it and was extremely helpful to us and all our guests. Even when we had an almost pre-wedding crisis, he immediately stepped up to help us resolve it. Our wedding wouldn’t have been the same without the amazing charm of this unique location and the endless support of Giacomo. Highly recommended for either just a relaxing vacation or hosting events!

Wow!! What a place. I’ve been fortunate to have been able to visit family-run Bonsi many times of the years. It remains such a unique destination and country escape from Florence, which is still within easy driving distance!! You are met by Giacomo and his team who go above & beyond. The little touches like fresh breakfast eggs from their chickens and their friendly on-site pigs, to their bespoke olive oil tour on-site. The rooms are beautiful & clean. Highly recommend & look forward to our next trip!

My sister was married here and we all traveled from far and wide to be a part of it in this special place. The ceremony was gorgeous not only because of the setting but because of the work and care of the owner, the vendors and all the employees. Everything was run smoothly and professionally. Giacomo was so generous and accommodating.

This place is a gem. Everything about it is steeped in history and beauty. It is maintained lovingly, with gorgeous gardens. Everywhere you turn there are incredible secret nooks to discover. Truly a unique and magical place.

The rooms are clean and comfortable. They are well furnished with all the amenities you would need for your stay. The pool is clean and pleasant with beautiful country views.
