Agriturismo Fattoria Il Bruco in Perugia

Great option outside the city. The breakfast was delicious and the staff is great. My daughter loved the experience with the animals.

I spent 2 wonderful days here with my family, and it was such a wonderful experience! The host is a really nice and gentle person, we felt like at home. The apartment preserves an authentic, tuscan, rural look and feel, but with all modern facilities. The beds are super comfortable, I have never slept so well outside my own house! The place is clean and well maintained. If you go there with kids they will love all the animals on the farm - cats, horses, cows, hens, rabbits, sheep... The owners are very child friendly and have plenty of patience. I can only say all the best about this place. 100 % recommended 👌.

We have spent an amazing 7 days here in paradise!

Location- an easy drive to the best towns that Umbria has to offer! We visited Perugia, Orvieto, Gubbio, Assissi, Spello, and more. BUT… our Agriturismo is located in an exceptionally private area, so quiet, private, with no traffic noise, only the peaceful sounds of the countryside… If you like stargazing, the dark skies allow you to see the best star views ever!

Accommodation- a gorgeous house! We had a full kitchen, bathroom, with WC and bidet, big bedroom with large super comfy bed, black out shutters for morning sleep! Amazingly clean, spotless! Rustic vibe, modern amenities. Tall ceilings with full timbers on the roof. Comfy bed and bedding. Heating if needed, AC if needed. All you need in the kitchen! Check out all the other room options.

Breakfast- We were offered a full selection of juice, fresh local milk, local yogurt, cheese (local , organic and exceptional), croissants, and local Italian specialties. You may get amazing surprises… Freshly laid eggs, local jams, local meats…. And some fresh homemade crostata tarts. The BEST! ….We were thrilled to eat breakfast in our room, or out on the lawn, at the tables, in the sunshine , every day. The two friendly cats came to visit daily, to purr, and keep us company, and we enjoyed seeing the goat families in front of our home. A baby goat was born today!!! What a thrill to see this pretty baby , a nice addition to the goat family here. Turkeys paraded proudly every day.

Family friendly- kids can run around safely, and visit with the goats, horses, turkeys, rabbits, pig, chickens, and appreciate the fresh air, and the wide open spaces.

BUT… the best… our hosts, Daniele, and Angela , and all staff are so kind, thoughtful and the most amazing hosts! So sweet, and warmly welcoming… We felt like family.

We have previously stayed in agriturismo in Tuscany…. BUT NOW…. Umbria, and Fattoria Il Bruco is our new home…. FAR better value, superb local foods, great local restaurants, fantastic cities to visit, and far less crowds... and at Fattoria Il Bruco, we have the BEST hosts!... La Dolce Vita…. We’ll book directly with them the next time, and we recommend them to all those who love the good Italian lifestyle! Tutto Perfetto!

A beautiful experience in an apartment typical of the old farmhouses. Simple but excellent service. We will definitely return. Abundant and excellent breakfast, the girl who takes care of the apartments is very kind and polite as well as an excellent pastry chef, we regret not having tasted the tart

We stayed at this farmhouse for a week from August 24th to 31st with our dog. If it were possible to leave 100 stars I would, because the location is enchanting and cared for in every detail. The owners and the staff pampered us every day by preparing typical delicacies such as cakes, bread and letting us taste dairy products and products from their garden. Furthermore, as I have already anticipated, the location is truly enchanting and it is a real pleasure to stay surrounded by animals and an almost bucolic tranquility. Highly recommended!

Wonderful hosts, a relaxing environment, a comfortable and charming apartment, all this a short distance from Perugia, this is what the Fattoria il Bruco agritourism offers. As soon as we arrived, we were offered cheese, cold cuts, wine and cake as a welcome. And we will receive pastries, tomatoes and vegetables from the garden during our week-long stay. In addition to the very pleasant swimming pool to cool off, we enjoyed the walks in the surrounding countryside, which our dogs appreciated. Because animals are welcome. Moreover, the animal fauna is very present: rabbits, chickens, goats, horses, donkeys, cows, not to mention the cats enchant the visitors, especially the children. Highly recommended.

We stayed in this wonderful place for two days. As soon as we arrived we immediately breathed an atmosphere of peace and tranquility. The breakfast is wonderful and full of delicious things. The owner Angela and her family are wonderful people, they welcomed us with affection and availability. The animal farm is fantastic and our daughter participated in the various activities. We really felt at home. We will return soon......very soon. Thank you for everything❤️

We stayed here for 3 nights - could have stayed longer as there was plenty to see and do in the area. Marco was very helpful in getting us settled in and offer us touring suggestions. The downstairs room had everything we needed as well as fresh cake etc each day - wonderful. We were able to sit outside each evening and enjoy the peacefulness of the Agriturismo. There were plenty of animals to see and interact with. We would be happy to stay again.

We were here for the Easter weekend What can I say, everything was fantastic from the room to the kindness of the lady, my son was charmed by her great sweetness and willingness to show him around the animals. Thank you so much. We will be back.
