LA RESIDENCE & IDROKINESIS – Thermal Rehab in Abano Terme

Reservation made at the Thermalies salon, for a treatment of thermal mud application with anti-inflammatory properties. The treatment itself is carried out with professionalism and seriousness (special mention to the operator Francisco, who works there with great involvement). But: -I absolutely do not recommend this hotel. It is a "4 star superior" hoax; rooms supposedly renovated but not soundproofed, you hear your neighbors screaming all night, -Buffet breakfast without any fresh fruit, no pressed juice, absolutely all the products are industrial and filling -Meals without flavor, poor quality. First time I eat so badly in Italy... -Neglectful reception staff, not responsive or efficient in case of problem. Do not correspond to what one would expect from a "4 * sup". -Roof work all day: a failure if you want to take a short nap... -Hotel managed on a shoestring: the bathroom heating was cut off in the middle of winter, so how could you dry your bathrobe and towel when you came back from the thermal pool? -Bottle of mineral water in the room: you have to pay! You're supposed to be on a spa treatment... -What about the door opening system in the room that broke down, and it took the reception 48 hours to send a technician... In short, catastrophic hotel management, with a petty economy of pennies. First and last time for us.

I am writing to express my deep disappointment with the care I received during my stay at GB Thermae Hotel in Italy from January 7th to 31st. Emanuel, the manager, assured me that I would receive proper support, but this was not the case. Instead, they assigned a porter to assist me with basic needs, including using the toilet, but he handled me abruptly, resulting in a large wound on my bottom. When I requested proper carers, they were not only unhelpful but also rude and verbally abusive. I feel that the care provided was completely inadequate and unacceptable. Additionally, when I saw a doctor, I was given plasters containing sulphur, despite my allergy, further adding to my distress. Terribly poor quality of care and the injury I suffered. Looking back at my experience, I feel extremely upset and distraught, and I hope this matter can be resolved appropriately.

The rooms are very dated, poorly maintained, the carpet and wallpaper are old and dirty. The worst thing is that in the room there is a strong old smell that resembles the smell of pee.
The swimming pool is nothing special, the indoor one is small. Outside there are two comfortable swimming pools, but the mattresses in the deckchairs are dirty.
The breakfast is decent.
The service is good.
The price was fair, because the room was on promotion.
Overall I wouldn't stay here again.
