Where do I start?... The folding bathroom door that came loose from the wall, preventing the bathroom from closing properly?
The completely "old-fashioned" room?
The pools... No comment on the size and color of the water.
The "7 kilos in 7 days" dinner? Where's the Parmesan cheese in the risotto alla parmigiana? It was lost somewhere along the way. The tiny chicken breast topped with 4 wedges of roasted potatoes and 3 grams of spinach.
Last but not least, the POS terminal ran out of battery; we had to wait 10 minutes to pay.
I think these "hotels" should close permanently.

We read some bad reviews just before we left England, which were very unfair. The hotel is a bit dated, but that gives it a unique charm, much like going back in time. The hotel is definitely quirky, but we loved it. We booked as a base to explore Padova and it was perfect for that. We were pleasantly surprised because we absolutely loved Abano too. The train station is a good 30-minute walk from the hotel but buses stop nearby. The Sanctuary Madonna in Abano is well worth the 30-minute walk. Breakfast was good and the spa thermal pool was just wonderful, perfect after exploring Padova and Abano. Our rooms were very spacious, well equipped and the bed was extremely comfortable. We had a bath and a shower in the huge bathroom. The only negatives were lack of communication before our visit (I emailed 3 times but no reply), our door was difficult to lock, the air-conditioning didnt work and the hotel bar didn't sell Aperol (but we didn't complain). The lovely receptionist booked us a taxi to the airport for our return home. Everyone in Abano is very friendly. We loved the town and would definitely go back. We ate and drank in Padova and Abano and everything was amazing and not expensive at all. Padova is a stunning City, well worth a visit. Abano is immaculately clean and a really lovely Italian town. Thank you hotel Al Sole Terme for a wonderful stay.

Let me start by saying that I was with the family in September and we had a very good time. We returned for a relaxing couple of days again with family in the second week of February. The sore point is the room, already the moment they welcomed us and everything started badly they couldn't find a table for a family of 7 people, they didn't even know we were arriving. After they had seated us and had time to sit down and take something from the buffet, they had already served our first courses, they didn't even give us time to eat calmly. You could see that the gentleman who served us was in such a hurry as if we were a burden. Within 20 minutes we were served first courses, second courses and desert. Something never seen before. The gentleman who served us smelled horribly of cigarettes, being a non-smoker, I feel like vomiting as soon as I smell this smell. The icing on the cake was when he picked up young kids he constantly scolded them. I'm sorry but it's not the same as before. Another sore point was the very poor breakfast, no yogurt or croissants, and the finished cold cuts sat empty on the buffet for 20-30 minutes. The coffee machines were dirty and had ants and cockroaches running around.

1 week ago we were with our family for holidays at Hotel Sole. Everything perfect apart from the room which is a disgrace together with the head nurse Lia. Which made us wait at the entrance for quite a few minutes. When we arrived we could see that she didn't even know we were coming and from here you can already see how little organization there is on the part of the head nurse. Rude and rude even in serving without the slightest care of what he does. We witnessed his screams and shouts both from the kitchen and in the dining room, a shame as he mistreats his colleagues without the slightest dignity and respect towards them. Horrible breakfast, expired and dry croissants, moldy bread, half-open butter, others with mold inside. Poor breakfast buffet: always missing yogurt, cold cuts, desserts, fruit. And when we ask if we can still have stuff we are told it's only on request, But what stuff is that!!! The coffee machine is half broken and it's all dirty and filthy. Cutlery and glasses are not full of stains. Last thing to add, the blonde waitress responded in a rude way when we asked if we can change the seconds and replied: gentlemen, you didn't choose it so you can't have it.

Now back from 2 days of relaxation and they really were. The strength of the structure is certainly given by the people: all the staff are polite, kind and very professional. The building is dated but clean. Two small problems: in the pool it would be preferable for there to be someone to enforce the silence a little more and on the ground floor of the Hotel there is only one "unisex" toilet (too small for such a structure) but for the rest Well. Anyway I'll be back!

A very bad experience. As soon as we entered we were treated with rudeness, all the staff were rude and untrained. The nightmare room, mold everywhere, dirty bathroom, faulty shower, as soon as I touched the hat dryer it fell from the wall and behind it was incredibly dirty. The carpet was old and very dirty (even in the corridors, not just in the room).
I don't recommend at all.

Standard room but clean, friendly staff and the food in the restaurant is very good! Congratulations...Reception staff very kind and friendly and always available! It is a hotel where I would happily return. Good quality and price, recommended for everyone even for families!

Economically interesting offer identified at their facility for 3 nights through Trivago. I called them to ask for some info and to confirm the stay, but over the phone they confirmed a much higher rate (almost 200 euros more). I point out to them that the best price on Trivago is much lower and they tell me to book via the site (as if they hadn't included the offer!). I proceed with the site and at the end of the procedure I am informed that the booking did not take place because the offer is no longer available, it was certainly canceled by the hotel following my call. My warmest compliments for your seriousness, it's a shame I can't give 0 stars because that's what you deserve
