Disappointing Stay – Would Not Recommend

We stayed at this hotel in Jesolo hoping for a relaxing holiday, but unfortunately, our experience was far from that. While the location is undeniably good, everything else was a major letdown.

The hotel is extremely old and in desperate need of renovation. What’s most frustrating is that the pictures on the internet do not reflect reality at all. We felt misled, as the room we received looked nothing like the photos we had seen when booking. After raising this issue with the reception, the woman at the front desk was friendly and tried her best to help. However, the only option offered was a different room for an additional €400 for just three nights – which we found unacceptable given the already high price we had paid.

Even the sink drain was clogged, which further added to the overall poor impression of the hotel.

The entire stay was disappointing. Even the beach setup added to the frustration. You are assigned a beach umbrella around 70 meters from the sea, and if you want a spot closer to the water, you have to pay a significant extra fee per day.

We booked through Check24, but unfortunately our room did not match the description or photos at all...

1️⃣ Room size: The room was much smaller than stated – we expected and paid for more space, but ended up in a tiny room.
2️⃣ Bathroom: The bathroom is extremely outdated, almost medieval. The shower is located right between the sink and the toilet, so when you shower, the entire floor gets flooded. This is neither comfortable nor modern.
3️⃣ Handling of complaints: When we asked if this was really the room we booked, we were told that “Check24 books hotels through Expedia,” and that’s why you get worse rooms. This is unacceptable – we expect to receive the standard we booked, no matter which booking platform is used!
4️⃣ Parking: Although a parking space was supposed to be included, we were forced to park 15 minutes away. This was really inconvenient and annoying, especially since a parking spot was promised.

Overall, we are really disappointed and, unfortunately, cannot recommend this hotel. What a shame!
