Hotel Alla Rotonda in Lido di Jesolo

The rooms were awfull. A 330 ml coke costs 3,50 euros. This is not a good hotel.

The owner made a pricing mistake on a popular accommodation reservation service, I made the reservation not knowing about it and made travel plans for a party of four people from different parts of my region. Five days after, I receive a call from the property (the owner himself, assisted by a translator) asking me to cancel the reservation (and pay the cancellation fee) or else I would not be welcome at the property and would not be allowed to enter. My inquiries to the reservation service were left unanswered until the day of departure, a full week after I booked the accommodation. The service was never notified of the pricing error, and there was nothing they could do to assist. I am currently on the road and have no place to stay the next night, but I will stay away from this property. For good.

The owner of the hotel made a mistake and he tried to contact me on a phone. After two missed call, I saw the number is from Italy and I saw the message from the hotel on the app. I started to write the message to booking customer service. Before I send it, he called me again. I answered the call. He tried to explain me that he made the mistake and that I need to cancel the reservation. I told him: "I don't want to", same as I wrote to the booking customer service. Than he called the lady who spoke Bosnian language to speak with me. I told her the same. This is not my mistake and I don't want to cancel the reservation because among other things, I would be charged full amount as penalty. After that I was told clearly he would not allow me to enter the hotel. I said we would continue communication through booking.
They accuse me of aggressive behavior, but I had no reason to contact them or act in an inappropriate way. The reservation was made through Booking, and I have no reason to communicate directly with hotel.
I have never had this kind of experience. Also sending the harassing messages after midnight.

I had a deeply disappointing experience at this hotel. From the moment I arrived, nothing met even the most basic standards of hospitality.

The room was dirty, with visible dust on surfaces, stains on the bedding, and a foul smell that made it hard to relax. The bathroom was in unacceptable condition — mold in the shower, broken fixtures, and towels that were either unwashed or severely worn out.

The staff was unhelpful and indifferent. Any questions or requests were met with minimal effort or outright dismissal. I didn’t feel welcomed or respected as a guest at any point during my stay.

Noise levels were high, both from the street and within the hotel. The walls are paper-thin, and I could hear every sound from neighboring rooms and the hallway throughout the night. Sleep was nearly impossible.

The air conditioning did not work properly, and when I reported it, the hotel offered no solution. I was told to open the windows, which only added to the noise and discomfort.

The location is not as advertised. While it claims to be central, it is actually quite far from the main attractions, with limited access to public transportation or decent restaurants nearby.

Overall, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. It was a complete waste of money, and I left feeling frustrated and exhausted. Avoid this place if you value cleanliness, comfort, and basic customer service.

Terribly unpleasant situations, they accept guests they can't stand, they're just looking for a way to get money out of you, they target the guests of their hotel, don't accidentally enter your room with shoes on because you'll pay for cleaning.

i just got here. the staff is polite but the rooms...! rooms are DISGUSTING. the shower is non existent, there was someone's hair hanging from the outdated shower tap, we got half used toilet paper (as well as new ones tho), the kitchen has a big table but no chairs in the view. walls and doors are chipped for the most part and the plates in the cupboards were dusty. i wouldn't recommend this hotel to my worst enemy.
