We had a great two-night stay at Lamp No Yado onsen hotel. The onsen was spacious and relaxing, and the meals included in the hotel were delicious. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. On the 2nd day, our room's TV was not working and the staff promptly replaced it when we were out, which truly appreciated. One suggestion would be consider providing a complimentary shutter service...

Both dinner and breakfast were incredibly rich and satisfying. The Kagoshima beef practically melted in my mouth – so fragrant and delicious! The onsen (hot springs) are private, family-style rooms, and the reception area has heating and complimentary drinks, perfect for a relaxing break after a soak.

Very clean, convenient transportation, rich breakfast, mountain view, very close to Yufu Station, good, but the hot spring does not feel natural

Family hotel, about five rooms, very warm and comfortable, ten minutes walk from the station. We checked in at 4pm and the communication was basically understandable.

It seems like a good place for those who are visiting alone. It was clean and I was satisfied with the price. I will go now~

According to the regulations, check-in is not until 4 pm. Maybe because of the hot weather and because we were walking hard, we were allowed to check in an hour early. The location is also 5 or 6 minutes walk from the station, which is very convenient. The rooms are all on the second floor. If you bring a big suitcase, it will be a bit hard to move up there. There is no separate shower in the room...

A traditional Japanese B&B with about four rooms in total, all of which are quite clean. The breakfast is very rich. There are two public bathrooms and toilets in the rooms. It is quite close to the main street and JR station.

Before getting married, my mom and I were looking for a cost-effective ryokan to travel to, and both my mom and I were very satisfied with this place. It was a quiet, country-style place that I would love to visit again. It felt like going to my grandmother's house. Anyway, I had a great time👍🏻

This was the best accommodation I've had so far in Japan. It's a great experience to live in a building that resembles a Japanese house, and there's also a private hot spring that families or couples can use together. I was very tired, but it felt like it was all gone. Be careful because the water temperature is hot. The shampoo, conditioner, and body wash provided smell so good that I'm looking into...

It wasn't too far to walk to the tourist attractions, and it was nice that the area was dark and quiet at night! The bedding was soft and warm, so I slept well. ㅎㅎ The Wi-Fi didn't work, so I recommend downloading movies or dramas! The owner's grandmother and son were very kind!

The bedroom is ok, amenities are ready. including TV, refrigerator, sink, washbasin thermos It's considered okay for people who have never slept together like in Japan.

Just across the street is an alley with Kirinko and famous Yufuin stores. Because it's at the bottom of the mountain, it's quiet and you can wake up to the sound of birds. If I had some free time, this is where I wanted to take a break for a few days. It's close to the bus stop and there's a Lawson convenience store. I was also able to enjoy the romance of a small open-air hot spring.

The hostel is beautiful. It’s up on the hill, so you have to walk around 30/35 minutes from the train station. There isn’t any convenience store nor restaurant nearby so make sure to bring your own food or ask the owner to make dinner/breakfast for you. There’s an onsen on-site and the showers is also in the onsen, there’s not a private shower. I recommend it, very peaceful

The hostel was very nice and had a cozy charm to it. I also met some very nice people there. There is an Onsen in the hostel, and you can get a satisfying breakfast for around 800 Yen. The owner was very kind and offers evening walks (which I highly recommend) and a ride to the station in the morning. The only downside is that it's an around 30 minutes walk uphill from Floral Village, but the view...

Very hospitable host who picked us up at train station. Delightful home styled dinner n breakfast (extra fees). Host even lead us a night walking tour to see stars. Very countryside vibes for a change. Highly recommend if you are looking for a difference versus hotel stay.

I love this place. Took the Japanese traditional and it was fantastic..I would have lived there..fantastic honsen inside and super common room with beautiful view. A bit far walking from the station but at least you can appreciate the little village.

The hostel is a bit difficult to access by foot if you are coming by public transport. The host brought us out for walks after dinner, with stunning night views of the city. Order breakfast and dinner as their food was delicious. The common space/lounge is perfect to chill, make new friends and read.
