The staff is super friendly and always greet us with smiles. Helpin us with check-in and photo taking. The room is spacious and cozy. One thing can improve is about the emergency exit sign. It is too bright. In brief, we will come again.

The ryokan is not up to the expectation as what google review or trip.com ratings. Suite is quite old and smelly. Onsen area have cob webs. The family onsen is not like ig picture standard with lots of insects and a gecko. Food nevertheless is ok.

Quite far from Yufuin JR station but the hotel offered free shuttle (last service 17:00) but you could easily take a taxi which took about 7 minutes from the station. The room was very spacious and clean, onsen was located on the G/F which was easily accessible. Dinner and breakfast was available and highly recommended (there was nothing else near the hotel anyway).

The hotel is very clean and the place is beautiful, however, the dinner and breakfast is very average compare to the price we paid. There is additional fee of Yen 12,600 for one toddler (for dinner and breakfast)

I am satisfied with the overall experience. The hot springs were good and the location was good. The owner was kind. However, you can't stay in the lobby on the first floor after the check-out time. My father, who is not feeling well, was kicked out on a rainy day with three suitcases.
