Yufuin TSURU NO YU in Yufu

I recently stayed at a traditional Japanese onsen hotel, and it was an amazing experience. The hotel offers private onsens, which provided an incredible level of privacy and relaxation—perfect for anyone trying onsen for the first time. It was so peaceful and serene, and the entire experience felt like a perfect escape from the stresses of daily life.

The breakfast was simple yet delicious, offering traditional Japanese dishes that gave me a true taste of the local culture. It was light and satisfying—just what you need to start the day. The tatami bed was also an experience in itself, offering a unique and authentic Japanese way to rest. I slept incredibly well on it, and it added to the overall charm of staying in such a traditional setting.

The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, making me feel very welcomed and taken care of throughout my stay. The location was great—easy to access, with Tang Zhi Ping Road just a short distance away for anyone looking to explore. Plus, they offer free parking, which made it super convenient to travel around.

Overall, this hotel is the perfect place for rest and relaxation, especially for those who want to try onsen in a private and peaceful setting. Highly recommend for anyone looking for an authentic, calming experience!

Very clean, convenient transportation, rich breakfast, mountain view, very close to Yufu Station, good, but the hot spring does not feel natural

Family hotel, about five rooms, very warm and comfortable, ten minutes walk from the station. We checked in at 4pm and the communication was basically understandable.

It seems like a good place for those who are visiting alone. It was clean and I was satisfied with the price. I will go now~

According to the regulations, check-in is not until 4 pm. Maybe because of the hot weather and because we were walking hard, we were allowed to check in an hour early.
The location is also 5 or 6 minutes walk from the station, which is very convenient. The rooms are all on the second floor. If you bring a big suitcase, it will be a bit hard to move up there.
There is no separate shower in the room. There are two bathrooms for men and women, and hot spring private rooms can be reserved.

A traditional Japanese B&B with about four rooms in total, all of which are quite clean. The breakfast is very rich. There are two public bathrooms and toilets in the rooms. It is quite close to the main street and JR station.

The design is very good. The hosts are very polite. Unfortunately, the hot springs are not warm enough at eight in the morning.

Location not far from station. Small hotel but all is clean, comfort, good view from the room too.

It is close to the train station and is very convenient to walk to attractions. The room is small but clean. There is a private hot spring for 1 hour, so you can enjoy it slowly. The staff is friendly and amiable.

It is about a 6-8 minute walk from the bus terminal in front of Yufuin Station. However, it seemed to be located close to places with things to see and eat, and the facilities were good. If you leave your luggage first, they will bring it to your room. It consists of the first and second floors, and the bathhouse can be used by one person after making a reservation. The room was good for one or two people to use, but since the rooms were next to each other, I felt it was not soundproof, but there was no major inconvenience in using it. Additionally, the temperature could be controlled with heating, and there was a refrigerator, making it easy to store food. And I was very grateful to the person at the information desk who was so kind and informed me of everything!! Next time I go to Yufuin alone, I will definitely go again!!😆😚
