Stayed here for a business trip. Route Inn is always a solid, driver-friendly option. Having a convenience store within walking distance was also a big plus.

I visit Fujicity for business twice a year, and this is always my go-to hotel. It's conveniently located near my workplace. There's a great restaurant right next door (where you can also enjoy drinks), a convenience store just around the corner, and even a ramen shop nearby. The only minor drawback is its distance from Shin-Fuji Station.

This is hands down the best hotel in Fuji City. It's our preferred choice, especially when we go on 3-night golf trips with friends. The Hotel was literally at the train station Fujinomiya! Very convenient!! Consistency is key for me. Clean functional very convenient location next to station, minutes from Aeon Shopping mall, and 7-11 round the corner. Staff are professional and polite. Free welcome drinks between 6-8pm.

The hotel is really close to the subway station, and from my room window, I had a perfect view of Mount Fuji! There are tons of great restaurants nearby, all within a few dozen steps. Breakfast was included, but check-out at 10 AM felt quite early.

This hotel was very nice and clean, and the location is good. It can be a little difficult to get to from the train station, but it’s still in a nice area. One big plus is that you can see Mount Fuji from the hotel, which is amazing. The hotel also has a small onsen on the ground floor with separate areas for males and females, which is very relaxing. Amazing Mount Fuji views right from the window! The hotel is next to the city hall, about a 20-minute walk from the Dream Bridge. Convenience stores are a bit of a walk, about five or six minutes away. The hotel's green tea is delicious, and the room was very clean. Just remember to change into slippers in the lobby!

I really like the public bath.

There's only one public bath, and it's separated by gender with specific time slots, which made it really difficult to fit into my schedule, so I didn't get to use it. Parking costs 1000 Yen, and the car park is around the corner from the hotel on the street. You have to walk in the rain to get your car, which isn't very convenient. The free breakfast was alright, nothing special.

Overall, everything else was normal and acceptable. However, I had a very disappointing experience with two of the women reception staff member. Their behavior was rude, unresponsive, and felt discriminatory toward foreigners. This kind of attitude is unprofessional and needs improvement, especially at the reception where first impressions matter most.

The price range was very reasonable and I was able to stay there normally. I would recommend this accommodation if you are looking to keep costs down. I would recommend it for solo travelers or those traveling with friends rather than families.

Very affordable and clean Clean hotel and a great breakfast. Spent 2 weeks in Japan and it was the only hotel that requires you to remove shoes in the lobby and wear slippers your entire stay. If on a budget and want a clean hotel, this is it.

I don't recommend going. It looks like a quarantine facility for COVID-19 in Japan, and the entrance feels like a shoe-changing room in a school or public bathhouse. Maybe it's a cultural difference, but no matter what planet we're on, you're in the service industry, running a hotel. You should make people feel at home. So I really don't recommend going!

It is very close to Fujinomiya Station. I booked a traditional Japanese room. The price was not expensive and I could experience Japanese tatami. The space was large and it was very comfortable. I made a booking mistake, thinking this was a hotel in Mount Fuji. Fuji and Mount Fuji aren't in the same city, so be careful when booking. I realized my error two hours before check-in and tried to negotiate, but they wouldn't refund or change the dates. I'm quite unhappy about it.

I stayed in a single room for about a week in early November for work. The building is old, but the rooms are clean. Spacious for a single. Bathtub is small. The shower head needs improvement. Hot water pressure is good. All the women at the front desk are pleasant, flexible and efficient. The parking lot is huge.

Little old-fashioned rooms but an amazing service!

room was kinda musty. the family room i stayed in was quite big but there wasn’t a lock which didn’t feel very safe as a solo female traveller staying there. the walls are also quite thin - i could hear someone snoring and calling their friend. there was a visible layer of dust on the washing and drying machines. the microwave and toaster oven was a lil oily and there were leftover crumbs.

The price is reasonable, and the location not bad. As Asama Taisha—part of the Mt. Fuji World Heritage site—is only about a 10 minutes walk away, and it’s a beautiful, culturally significant place. A cute and cozy guesthouse with an amazing view of the fuji from the rooftop. Not too many attractions nearby but after a ride with a bus there is a lot of beautiful nature. The guesthouse had a very warm and welcoming atmosphere; the owner was incredibly kind and attentive, making me feel very comfortable and at ease. The dogs at the guesthouse were also super cute, and their companionship was truly therapeutic. I would definitely stay here again next time I'm in Japan!

Very nice for the end of our trip to Japan. After the hustle and bustle of Tokyo and Kyoto, a nice city with very friendly people. We had the whole apartment to ourselves, we found it a very nice experience and our host was very nice and helpful. Perfect for longer stays too, unfortunately we only had two nights here.
