Hamamatsu, 325-30 Sunayamacho (in the centre) 🧭 Map
I was looking for a hotel close to the station for a 3-day, 2-night trip and found a cheap one, so I booked it. I arrived early, so they stored my luggage and went sightseeing. I still had a few hours until check-in, but they let me in as my room was ready. Perhaps because the hotel is a bit secluded, I didn't pass many people. There was a vending machine tucked away on the second floor. The hallways...
Despite being located in front of the south exit of Hamamatsu Station, I was able to stay cheaply. The reception and room were small, but reasonably clean. Welcome coffee was available until 11:00 PM, which was a nice touch. I was assigned to park in the coin parking lot in front of the station, three doors down from the hotel. It cost 1,100 yen for 24 hours, and I paid with a service coupon.
It's conveniently located right outside the south exit. The washlet seat has been added to the original small toilet, so when you sit on it, your private parts will touch the toilet bowl, which I'm not sure is hygienic. The air conditioning is not individually controlled, but there were no problems today. The lighting in the room is very dim. There is an air purifier, but I wasn't sure where to plug...
It was very close to the station and there were convenience stores and restaurants nearby, so it was very convenient! Overall it was clean and very comfortable.
It's conveniently located near the station. The layout and atmosphere of the hotel make it seem like it's been around for a long time, but it's well-maintained, so it was fine for me, who just needed to sleep.
The check-in time is wrong, maybe the hotel is raising the price. When booking the hotel, it showed that check-in was available after 15:00, just like most Japanese hotels. But when I arrived at the hotel at almost 16:00, I was told by the front desk that I could only check in after 22:00, and now I need to pay an additional 500 yen fee. There was no choice, 10 o'clock in the evening was too late,...

The location was great, right in front of Hamamatsu Flower Park. It's also close to Kanzanji Temple by car. The building itself looks quite old. Above all, the food was excellent. We were completely satisfied with the eel, abalone, boiled fish, and sashimi. The day after we stayed was New Year's Day, so there were various New Year's dishes like ozoni (rice cake soup), herring roe, black beans, and...
We stayed as a family of three, with dinner and breakfast included. It was a Showa-era inn. While there was some wear and tear inside the building, the tatami mats and futons were clean, and we were able to rest comfortably. The food was delicious and the portions were satisfying. It seems to vary depending on the accommodation package, but we were surprised by the large variety of dishes at breakfast...
I stayed here during Golden Week. The food was mainly seafood, and both dinner and breakfast were very filling, tasty, and very satisfying! I think the cost of the stay was probably worth it just for the food. The owner was also very friendly and was happy to accommodate requests for rice refills. The rooms feel a bit old, but they were well-maintained and I didn't feel uncomfortable. It was also...
This hotel is in a great location for families with young children, as it's perfect for visiting Palpal, the flower park, and Hama Zoo. The food was delicious and very generous in portion size. The abalone, sashimi, eel, and even the breakfast were incredibly abundant, and everything, including the grilled fish, was delicious. The facilities are old, and those with germophobia might find the bathrooms...
The building seemed to have stopped, but the food was delicious.
2021/01/05 Use only meals, not guesthouses I asked for Unadon, but it took me a long time to come out. There were only two groups of customers in total, but it seemed that Grandpa was alone in ordering, cooking, and accounting. Is there any other clerk? Like a successor. I felt that it might not be a long time. The taste was a little crispy. I'm glad I didn't have too much sauce.

Our family of four enjoyed staying here. It's a budget place but they look after you well. Unlimited tea bags, unlimited fresh towels, free cappucino machine downstairs, wonderful hangout area, tatami room (which we used to do work, meditate and eat meals in), large kitchen with all facilities you need to cook, outdoor seating area, very close to a 7-11, only four train stops from central Hamamatsu...
This property was amazing. Great location great signage to get there right off the train such friendly staff impeccable highly recommend staying here.
A great stay, highly recommend this Hostal, everything was top class. We would stay again.
The night shift staff if good and nice, he wait till 2130 and let me check in with details information.
It was a good value for money stay. I stayed with friends, but if we had come as a family, the kids would have enjoyed the loft area and the BBQ. It might have been better if we could have used our camping gear a little more.
Rented bicycles for 24hpurs for only 1000 each. Worked perfectly well. Took advantage of the lounge which had a lovely atmosphere. Bedroom was bigger than many other places I've stayed at. Staff at reception were smiley. Cleaners too were jolly. Only down side was the bathroom toilet. There was nowhere to put a change of clothes towel etc. so I managed to soak them.

It is located in a very convenient location very close to Hamamatsu station. The amenities were very nice, the public bath is small but clean and functional.
Not the biggest hotel around but it has all the necessary amenities with a team of very dedicated staff. The room is huge and clean and there is delicious buffet breakfast too. Will highly recommend everyone to stay in this hotel if [convenience and comfort are your upmost priority.
The hotel is very convenient and close to Hamamatsu station. When you get out from the station, you can see the hotel. It is very close to the restaurants and bars too. Hotel staff are nice and it was so fun to enjoy free food drinks during happy hour. Everything is good. Moreover, going to Hamana just takes 40min bus distance. So glad to come to Hamamatsu!
The breakfast was excellent and selection is very good. Only draw back is breakfast end by 9am.
The place is exactly like in the photos. The room was very clean and plenty of space even after opening 2 luggages. The queen bed is huge and very comfortable. Toilet and shower is also very clean, but slightly cramp (usual jap style). Wet and dry area is separated. Warm water comes quickly and the water pressure in the shower is strong. The onsen was excellent, with a password for the female bath...

I was pleased to find a room away from the elevator, as I had hoped. It was also on the south side, so the location was excellent with a view of Hamamatsu Castle. (It's especially beautiful at night, when it's lit up.)
The location is good, near Hamamatsu Castle. The hotel also has a famous eel rice restaurant, but it's a bit pricey. The food is good, and the breakfast is plentiful and quite good.
The location is a little far from the station, but since I went by car, it wasn't a problem at all, the room was spacious, and although the breakfast buffet didn't have a large variety, most of the items were tasty, so I was very satisfied. I would like to use it again.
The hotel was well-cleaned and I had a very comfortable stay. The hotel breakfast was also delicious. I especially liked the croissants. I will definitely stay here again.
I stayed at this hotel for a Stray Kids concert. It felt a little old, but the facilities were solid. However, there were few restaurants nearby, so I had trouble finding something to eat after arriving.
I took my boyfriend, who is from Hamamatsu, and our kids to the festival, and it was great. I'll be back.

I stay here every year. The hotel facilities are generally old and can be inconvenient, but the great location and gorgeous breakfast buffet keep me coming back. One thing that was a bit disappointing this time, and not all of it, is that the quality of the staff seems to have gone down. In particular, during the breakfast buffet, which I love, it was still far from over, and even though I wanted to...
The building is old, but it's close to the station and a convenience store, and the receptionist was very nice. I stayed in different rooms for two nights, but unfortunately there was no free water on the second night, which was a shame.
The hotel has a good location; it's right next to the right after exiting Hamamatsu Station. The room is also quite spacious, and the view from the window is nice. However, the facilities are old, the air conditioning can't be adjusted, and you need a key to open the door. Breakfast is simple, with Hamamatsu gyoza (dumplings). Perhaps because it was the weekend, the price of over 1590 RMB per night...
I stayed here two weeks in a row while traveling to my favorite artist's concert. It's just a stone's throw from Hamamatsu Station, has a 24-hour front desk and can store your luggage, so it was easy to get around. Now that I think about it, the first time I stayed there there was a free bottle of water, but there wasn't one the second time...(´・ω・`)?
The hotel had a great location, visible from the station. It is a very big hotel, but a bit old. The room was spacious and had all the basic necessities. I appreciated that it had a large bathtub as well. Unfortunately, I was there for a concert, so I didn’t spend much time exploring the facilities or interacting with the staff, but what little I did, I didn’t find anything lacking. I came back because I had a good time there before. The service is good and the breakfast in particular is the best. I'll come again if I have the opportunity.
First of all, there's a large public bath, breakfast is included, and the price is very reasonable. We had a relaxing time as a couple, so we'd like to use it again. I wish the changing rooms were cleaned more frequently.
It's close to the road so the noise makes it hard to sleep.
Everything is great. I want to make this my regular place to stay in Hamamatsu ^_^
I like to stay at Route Inn business hotels whenever possible because the breakfast and the large public bath are attractive. On this day, the restaurant only offered take-out in the evening, which was a bit disappointing, but since it is near the interchange, there are plenty of restaurants nearby, so I was able to spend the night without any problems. I went to Hama Sushi, which is right next door...

Our stay at Hotel Leon was more pleasant than we expected. However there was a particular area that puts us slightly off. The room is cooled via central AC, which normally isn't a problem. The room rate of over 400 yuan is quite good. My wife and I stayed here this time, and she was very satisfied. The lobby has a variety of drinks available, which is great. The service was excellent, the breakfast was very delicious, everything was pleasant, I would only recommend that the smoking rooms have better ventilation to avoid the bad smell of cigarettes during bedtime, some device to hear the TV better without disturbing other guests, the TV volume was very low, 20 maximum, and I could not enjoy the movies, for the rest everything was quite pleasant and relaxing
I had a wonderful stay during my trip! The location was scenic and peaceful, perfect for unwinding. The accommodations were comfortable and clean, with friendly staff always ready to help. The overall atmosphere made it a relaxing and enjoyable experience. I would definitely recommend staying here!
Pleasant surprise. This little business hotel is hard to beat priced and so tidy like I'd expect from Japan. Parking lot was small, just a few spots, and so is the room; not much in terms of services, but it's not meant to be a luxury hotel. Breakfast was good, and there's a convenience store literally across the quiet street. I slept well and will drive safe. Staff is kind and attentive.

Amenity is placed next to the front desk and you can take it to your room as needed. I feel like that's the best thing to do in this day and age. Breakfast is delicious no matter what you eat. Personally, I recommend the freshly baked bread. I had a well-balanced breakfast. There's a convenience store right in front of it, and it's about a 5-minute walk from Hamamatsu Station, so it's great to have...
I were on a two-night business trip. The hotel was 5 mins walk from the Hamamatsu station and all the staff were really friendly!!!

Looking out at the lake view in the morning sitting on the tatami from the room on first floor, it does feel like the room is floating on the lake. Astonish view! Every room is lake faced. Booking through hotel website provides a great discount. Friendly and sufficient staff. An old yet well maintained hotel. At a quiet but remote place. Takes a 15-20mins walk to nearby train station.
I really like this hotel. It's by the lake, and you can watch the sunrise. The corridors in the rooms are a bit like the cabin design on a ship, which is very unique. Breakfast and dinner are both buffets, which are very convenient and rich, especially the grilled eel, which the Japanese also eat like crazy...
The building itself is quite old, so I was prepared for that, but the rooms and restaurant had been renovated, and I was able to relax in a room with a lake view. I wasn't expecting a buffet, but they had eel and roast beef, and it was fun to be able to make a one-person hotpot with your favorite ingredients. It was a shame that there was no lotion or other amenities in the bath, but considering the...
This is a low-rise hotel on the shores of Lake Hamana. The exterior looks old, but the rooms have been renovated and are beautiful. The room was Japanese modern, so I was able to relax on the Ryukyu tatami mats. I checked in late in the evening, so it was pitch black outside, and in the morning I was able to see the lake view from the window with plenty of sunlight. The hot springs were smooth because...
The hotel is old fashioned but with reasonable price.
The room we got was definitely from at least a generation ago. My room had a kitchen in it. I saw other rooms that were more traditional hotel rooms. The space in the toilet in my room was a bit limited in space. I would think if I were over 6 feet I might have my knees almost touching the far wall. The all you can eat "Viking style" meals were fine. I have to admit that the crab wasn't really the...

Very nice hotel. Clean and convenient. Food for breakfast was great. Only problem is that the rooms are very small
Very near to station just 1 minute
This hotel is good and its location is perfect, just outside Hamamatsu station. But the room I booked was for non smoking, but the whole floor has smoking rooms so the floor and the room had terrible cigarettes smell!!
The transportation is extremely convenient. It takes only one minute to walk from the station. The room is still as small as before, but the facilities are quite new. It is no problem to stay there casually.
It's a little difficult to open the bed, but the bed is big. It's near Hamamatsu Station and takes bus No. 41 to see the cherry blossoms. It's so convenient. The hotel's breakfast buffet is really good, but everyone only helps themselves once, and I don't know if I can take it a second time.
Affordable and good hotel. I would like to use it again.

Stayed 3 nights, very comfortable stay. Staffs are attentive, special thanks to 長谷川道一 先生。He was so kind and lend me his personal mobile phone to make a local call. He speaks English well too. Thank you!
It was a great value stay, close to the station and had a last train. I was a little worried about whether it was an air freshener or deodorant, but it was quiet and I had a good night's sleep. Thank you very much.
Convenient location, just a few minutes walk from the station. The room is also very large
Conveniently located near the station. Perfect for those who just want to sleep. Breakfast was not provided. There was a coin laundry.
In Japan, you can actually stay in a hotel that costs just over 100 RMB, and it's right next to the train station. It's no different from an ordinary Japanese-style express hotel. The room is small, but it has everything you need.
Room was clean, but since the hotel is kinda old it didn’t felt like that.
