Easily accessible by car. Nice view next to the lake. Got an upgrade room to the suite. Super spacious and quiet. Free alcohol and other drinks in the fridge. Free lounge on the 13th floor. Breakfast was buffet style. Everything was great for the stay.
Serenity found! 🌊🏨 Grand Mercure Lake Hamana Resort & Spa is like a tranquil oasis. Stunning lake views, relaxing onsen, and excellent service make it a perfect escape. Whether you're seeking relaxation or adventure, this resort has it all 👍
If you do not have a car it is not the best location however if you just want to live in peace it may be a perfect place. The nearest convenience store is about 18 minutes by walking. The nearest bus stop to the HUGE Aeon mall is about 15 minutes walking. Take bus number 20. About $2usd The hotel does offer a free shuttle FROM THE SOUTH SIDE EXIT and the maisaka train station has a city bus stop...
Decent place. Has shuttle buses to bring you to Maisaka JR station South exit. See picture for the schedule but please confirm with hotel when you check in. The room was large but the toilet was small. Bath tub for bathing for soaking is deep enough but not very big. It has a nice gift shop which opens only from 430pm to 9pm. Get some local produce as gifts. You can also seek gift shop staff to help...
Excellent views, quiet place, good size rooms for Japan.
(Addition 1) Daiwa Royal Hotel is a nationwide hotel operated by Daiwa House. Nowadays, well-funded manufacturers are developing hotel chains, but it is a long-established chain of resort hotels. The room is both for members and for general sale. The hotels are located in good places all over the country, especially Mt. Bandai and Mt. Oyama. Lake Hamana was also a scenic spot, but I visited because...

Good location and room is clean. 3 days booked but just 1 mineral water served. It’s good to serve 1 drink every day.
I stay here every year. The hotel facilities are generally old and can be inconvenient, but the great location and gorgeous breakfast buffet keep me coming back. One thing that was a bit disappointing this time, and not all of it, is that the quality of the staff seems to have gone down. In particular, during the breakfast buffet, which I love, it was still far from over, and even though I wanted to...
The building is old, but it's close to the station and a convenience store, and the receptionist was very nice. I stayed in different rooms for two nights, but unfortunately there was no free water on the second night, which was a shame.
The hotel has a good location; it's right next to the right after exiting Hamamatsu Station. The room is also quite spacious, and the view from the window is nice. However, the facilities are old, the air conditioning can't be adjusted, and you need a key to open the door. Breakfast is simple, with Hamamatsu gyoza (dumplings). Perhaps because it was the weekend, the price of over 1590 RMB per night...
I stayed here two weeks in a row while traveling to my favorite artist's concert. It's just a stone's throw from Hamamatsu Station, has a 24-hour front desk and can store your luggage, so it was easy to get around. Now that I think about it, the first time I stayed there there was a free bottle of water, but there wasn't one the second time...(´・ω・`)?
The hotel had a great location, visible from the station. It is a very big hotel, but a bit old. The room was spacious and had all the basic necessities. I appreciated that it had a large bathtub as well. Unfortunately, I was there for a concert, so I didn’t spend much time exploring the facilities or interacting with the staff, but what little I did, I didn’t find anything lacking. For the first night...

I came back because I had a good time there before. The service is good and the breakfast in particular is the best. I'll come again if I have the opportunity.
First of all, there's a large public bath, breakfast is included, and the price is very reasonable. We had a relaxing time as a couple, so we'd like to use it again. I wish the changing rooms were cleaned more frequently.
It's close to the road so the noise makes it hard to sleep.
Everything is great. I want to make this my regular place to stay in Hamamatsu ^_^
I like to stay at Route Inn business hotels whenever possible because the breakfast and the large public bath are attractive. On this day, the restaurant only offered take-out in the evening, which was a bit disappointing, but since it is near the interchange, there are plenty of restaurants nearby, so I was able to spend the night without any problems. I went to Hama Sushi, which is right next door...
Although it is artificial, there is a hot spring, which I used that day and the next morning. It was nice that the amenities were also installed. I still want to use it.

It’s all right. The building is a little “aged”.
The access from the station was good too.
If you just want a cheap place to stay, this is a good enough facility.
I stayed here when a friend came to visit. The overall experience was well received. The breakfast in particular seemed to be satisfactory.
We managed to make a reservation at this hotel when it was busy. Still, the facilities were good, the staff were cheerful, and they were very kind to us who are not used to business hotels. The breakfast is also consistent with Route Inn. I would like to stay here again!
I used it at work. The hall is very clean and clean. I didn't use the large communal bath, but when I went to see it, it was well thought out and I liked it. When I left something in my room and was wondering whether to go back to pick it up, I called and mailed it to my house. It was a wonderful hospitality. Thank you very much.

It was very clean and the service was good
We had a wonderful trip. The hotel's location was perfect and convenient. The rooms were very comfortable and spacious, and the hotel itself was beautiful. The breakfast and dinner were delicious, which we greatly appreciated. It was truly great value for money, and my friend and I had a comfortable night's rest. We will definitely choose this hotel again next time we come.
I had read in a review that the exterior of the hotel was old, so I was prepared for that, and I wasn't particularly surprised. The lounge in the lobby was stylish and had a resort hotel feel. The room seemed to have been renovated, and was a beautiful Japanese-Western style room with a lake view. Having a Japanese-style room was convenient because you could spread out your luggage freely. The toilet...
big hotel with separated spa to use, dinner and breakfast included the fee. Nice and helpful customer service
3 star hotel. Has a membership option. Bath was newly renovated, food reasonable. has a nice pool not to big though, during summer till August 31st.
They have a room for up to 4 people. There is a pool (summer only) and several tennis courts, in addition to a small game arcade and a table tennis table. I guess most rooms have a good view of the lake.

We booked in October for our family of three, hoping to enjoy the view of Lake Hamana and explore the surrounding area at the end of the year. The weather was beautiful, the view from our hotel room window was beautiful, and the room was larger than we expected, allowing three adults to relax comfortably. We had requested parking, so we were able to easily bring our luggage in. We ended up going out...
I loved the exotic feel, but the old facilities were a bit disappointing!
The flow to check-in was poor. Other than that, it was not a typical business hotel, but the view of Bentenjima was great for families with children.
Location of hotel is very good, next to Bentenjima Garden. Can relax by the Lake which is part of the garden. But the hotel suggested parking in the car park of the garden which will be charged 410 yen each time your car exits the parking area. The hotel also offers the big bath and everyone will be charged 150 yen no matter you use the service or not. Breakfast is quite good. Rooms and hotel...
We stayed with our family of four. The building is old, but the Japanese-style room was clean and comfortable. The view from the room was great. The breakfast buffet was okay. The porridge and whitebait were delicious. The Bentenjima pudding was rich.
The location is great. We booked for 3 people but there were 6 beds. There was no explanation of where to have toothbrushes, WiFi, or breakfast.

While the room was a bit small, they have sento where you can soak in after a long day. They also have comic books you can bring to your room to read. It was a new experience and I love it.
It was very helpful that you provided transportation to and from the station. Thank you very much. *I was surprised to find out that the seat I sat in was the same seat that Tetsuro Degawa sat in on a TV program.
I had a very pleasant stay. My room was upgraded, and since they were also hosting a group, they informed me of the available breakfast times in advance. I also used the bath on the top floor twice, once in the evening and once in the morning. Everything I needed was there, and the timing was perfect, so I had it all to myself. The men's and women's baths are switched, and shampoo and other amenities...
Stayed on 10/27 The front desk staff were polite and very helpful. I thought it was inconvenient that it was a little far from Hamamatsu Station, but they kindly provided a shuttle bus, which was helpful since I had a lot of luggage. I was also satisfied with the size of the room◎ I will come back˶˃ᴗ˂˶♬
This is a business hotel. Although it is not in front of the station, there is a parking lot and there is no problem as an access point around Hamamatsu. If you want to go to a pub, etc., you should use a taxi. Although it feels a little old, the hotel is well organized and you can see the high awareness of the employees. On the 9th floor, there are two baths, a large public bath (observation) and...

It was a very quiet and relaxing inn. The meals at both dinner and breakfast were just the right amount and delicious, mainly consisting of ingredients caught in Lake Hamana. The landlady was very friendly, and when we asked about tourist spots, she brought us pamphlets and gave us all sorts of information. Amenities such as shampoo are provided, but it's a good idea to bring your own face wash. It...
It's a quiet spot on the lakeside with not many cars passing by and you can relax listening to the sound of the waves. The kaiseki cuisine was just the right amount and the fish was delicious. I also enjoyed a relaxing conversation with the landlady while sipping on her homemade fruit wine.
This is a long-established inn where many great literary figures have stayed. I was a little lost on the way, but a friendly phone call helped me and I was warmly welcomed. The fresh seafood dishes caught in Lake Hamana are irresistible for fish lovers. Perhaps because there were few guests, the bath was reserved for us. There were no baskets in the changing room, so the hot water and shower pressure...
I decided to make a reservation the day before. I was surprised to find that I was given a detached room. The inn staff were very kind and friendly! (*^^*) I could see Lake Hamana from the window. If I have the opportunity to stay here again, I'd like to check in and relax in my room, and enjoy the delicious food instead of just staying overnight.
Founded in 1907, this long-established Japanese-style inn has a historic feel to it. With the lake right in front of it, time passed slowly. The mornings and sunsets are particularly magical, and I found myself lost in time as I gazed upon them. It's easy to see why some of Japan's most famous film directors and literary figures, including Shohei Imamura, who twice won the Grand Prix at the Cannes...

I had booked a smoking room, but the hotel suggested I change to a non-smoking room as they had one available.
Great view and room is VIP as this price is too cheap ❤️ i will come again
I was very happy that everyone at the hotel was so courteous. The best thing about staying here is that it was relaxing. ❤️❤️
Hotel Location: Not hard to find. Breakfast: Not very varied. Not crowded. Staff Service: Friendly. Facilities: A bit old.
The room is very spacious and there is a large parking lot with free parking. It takes 10 minutes to drive to eat near Dengcheng. The facilities are older, but the room is clean
Pool and Fitness is just open for members. Closed for hotel guests. Next to that clean and friendly.

I stayed here with my family while I was pregnant and visiting my parents' home! It was very reasonable for a family stay and the food was delicious. I would like to stay here again when I visit my parents' home.
I thought it was a little expensive, but the room was spacious and the food was delicious, so I was very satisfied. I definitely think it was worth more than the price. I would like to use it again if I go to Lake Hamana.
The room, bath, and food were all great! We were able to relax as a family of three. The private open-air bath was also nice. It's also in a very convenient location as a base for sightseeing. It's a place I'd like to come back to again 🙆
The room was spacious and clean, and the food was satisfactory in both quality and quantity. The outdoor portion of the large communal bath is small, and it is difficult to use when it is crowded. It is not a hot spring, but the private bath was good. One reservation site displays it as "high class", but... There was no greeting or farewell, and the sloppy way the food was served and the dishes were...
A great experience, a room with a great view, a panoramic view of Lake Hamana, and the Ferris wheel and cable car nearby. As soon as you get to the check-in floor, you will be filled with the aroma of tatami. If you can't go to the hot spring public pool, you can also book a semi-open-air family bath, which is a top-notch experience. The hotel service staff are very considerate and considerate. The...
Our 3 nights spent at this ryokan was comfortable even though the property is a but dated. The staff were most helpful and attentive. Kuwaba san helped me to locate my bag that i had left behind at the car rental agency. When he overheard that it was our wedding anniversary, he took the initiative to take a photo and present us with a nice momento. The food was excellent - always fresh, delicious...
