Super views from the 42nd floor. Gets better as the night draws in and the city lights come on. Location is very convenient being right next to the train station and close to lots of eateries. Staff were polite and helpful but just that, would’ve liked a bit more friendliness. They knew it was our anniversary but not one congratulated us. Overall we love this hotel especially with its music theme...
Stayed here for a quick business trip and it was a great choice. The location is the biggest plus—it's directly connected to JR Hamamatsu Station, so getting to my meetings was super easy, even with luggage. The room was quiet, clean, and had a decent desk to get some work done. Being in the tallest building in the city, the view from my room was a great bonus to unwind after a long day. The Wi-Fi...
One of the best hotels I experienced in the japan, the stuff are so professional and the the view from the room are so amazing, especially for this price.
One of the best hotels in Hamamatsu. I'll definitely stay here again.
The whole experience was comfortable, clean and quiet. The room was spacious enough for my family, as there were 3 of us. The buffet breakfast had a wide range of food. Location was well situated as it's within walking distance to the train station.
Cool hotel in Hamamatsu, music hotel, delicious breakfasts. Lots of restaurants. Large, stylish rooms with a view of the entire city. I strongly recommend. Wi-Fi is good.

Easily accessible by car. Nice view next to the lake. Got an upgrade room to the suite. Super spacious and quiet. Free alcohol and other drinks in the fridge. Free lounge on the 13th floor. Breakfast was buffet style. Everything was great for the stay.
Serenity found! 🌊🏨 Grand Mercure Lake Hamana Resort & Spa is like a tranquil oasis. Stunning lake views, relaxing onsen, and excellent service make it a perfect escape. Whether you're seeking relaxation or adventure, this resort has it all 👍
If you do not have a car it is not the best location however if you just want to live in peace it may be a perfect place. The nearest convenience store is about 18 minutes by walking. The nearest bus stop to the HUGE Aeon mall is about 15 minutes walking. Take bus number 20. About $2usd The hotel does offer a free shuttle FROM THE SOUTH SIDE EXIT and the maisaka train station has a city bus stop...
Decent place. Has shuttle buses to bring you to Maisaka JR station South exit. See picture for the schedule but please confirm with hotel when you check in. The room was large but the toilet was small. Bath tub for bathing for soaking is deep enough but not very big. It has a nice gift shop which opens only from 430pm to 9pm. Get some local produce as gifts. You can also seek gift shop staff to help...
Excellent views, quiet place, good size rooms for Japan.
(Addition 1) Daiwa Royal Hotel is a nationwide hotel operated by Daiwa House. Nowadays, well-funded manufacturers are developing hotel chains, but it is a long-established chain of resort hotels. The room is both for members and for general sale. The hotels are located in good places all over the country, especially Mt. Bandai and Mt. Oyama. Lake Hamana was also a scenic spot, but I visited because...

It is located in a very convenient location very close to Hamamatsu station. The amenities were very nice, the public bath is small but clean and functional.
Not the biggest hotel around but it has all the necessary amenities with a team of very dedicated staff. The room is huge and clean and there is delicious buffet breakfast too. Will highly recommend everyone to stay in this hotel if [convenience and comfort are your upmost priority.
The hotel is very convenient and close to Hamamatsu station. When you get out from the station, you can see the hotel. It is very close to the restaurants and bars too. Hotel staff are nice and it was so fun to enjoy free food drinks during happy hour. Everything is good. Moreover, going to Hamana just takes 40min bus distance. So glad to come to Hamamatsu!
The breakfast was excellent and selection is very good. Only draw back is breakfast end by 9am.
The place is exactly like in the photos. The room was very clean and plenty of space even after opening 2 luggages. The queen bed is huge and very comfortable. Toilet and shower is also very clean, but slightly cramp (usual jap style). Wet and dry area is separated. Warm water comes quickly and the water pressure in the shower is strong. The onsen was excellent, with a password for the female bath...

I was pleased to find a room away from the elevator, as I had hoped. It was also on the south side, so the location was excellent with a view of Hamamatsu Castle. (It's especially beautiful at night, when it's lit up.)
The location is good, near Hamamatsu Castle. The hotel also has a famous eel rice restaurant, but it's a bit pricey. The food is good, and the breakfast is plentiful and quite good.
The location is a little far from the station, but since I went by car, it wasn't a problem at all, the room was spacious, and although the breakfast buffet didn't have a large variety, most of the items were tasty, so I was very satisfied. I would like to use it again.
The hotel was well-cleaned and I had a very comfortable stay. The hotel breakfast was also delicious. I especially liked the croissants. I will definitely stay here again.
I stayed at this hotel for a Stray Kids concert. It felt a little old, but the facilities were solid. However, there were few restaurants nearby, so I had trouble finding something to eat after arriving.
I took my boyfriend, who is from Hamamatsu, and our kids to the festival, and it was great. I'll be back.

Nice room and great location with a Lawson at the bottom of the hotel building. Staff were lovely and allowed us to store our luggage at the hotel prior to check in.
Room clean and have a big bed Break fast good i wanna back again to stay there with big family next march
Good location. Very near to the train station, and lots of food nearby. Room are quiet and clean. The only complain I have is the speed of the lift. At times you might got to wait for awhile.
First time staying here and didn’t know what to expect. However the room was very clean and the need was very comfortable.

Good location and room is clean. 3 days booked but just 1 mineral water served. It’s good to serve 1 drink every day.
I stay here every year. The hotel facilities are generally old and can be inconvenient, but the great location and gorgeous breakfast buffet keep me coming back. One thing that was a bit disappointing this time, and not all of it, is that the quality of the staff seems to have gone down. In particular, during the breakfast buffet, which I love, it was still far from over, and even though I wanted to...
The building is old, but it's close to the station and a convenience store, and the receptionist was very nice. I stayed in different rooms for two nights, but unfortunately there was no free water on the second night, which was a shame.
The hotel has a good location; it's right next to the right after exiting Hamamatsu Station. The room is also quite spacious, and the view from the window is nice. However, the facilities are old, the air conditioning can't be adjusted, and you need a key to open the door. Breakfast is simple, with Hamamatsu gyoza (dumplings). Perhaps because it was the weekend, the price of over 1590 RMB per night...
I stayed here two weeks in a row while traveling to my favorite artist's concert. It's just a stone's throw from Hamamatsu Station, has a 24-hour front desk and can store your luggage, so it was easy to get around. Now that I think about it, the first time I stayed there there was a free bottle of water, but there wasn't one the second time...(´・ω・`)?
The hotel had a great location, visible from the station. It is a very big hotel, but a bit old. The room was spacious and had all the basic necessities. I appreciated that it had a large bathtub as well. Unfortunately, I was there for a concert, so I didn’t spend much time exploring the facilities or interacting with the staff, but what little I did, I didn’t find anything lacking. We had a wonderful trip. The hotel's location was perfect and convenient. The rooms were very comfortable and spacious, and the hotel itself was beautiful. The breakfast and dinner were delicious, which we greatly appreciated. It was truly great value for money, and my friend and I had a comfortable night's rest. We will definitely choose this hotel again next time we come.
I had read in a review that the exterior of the hotel was old, so I was prepared for that, and I wasn't particularly surprised. The lounge in the lobby was stylish and had a resort hotel feel. The room seemed to have been renovated, and was a beautiful Japanese-Western style room with a lake view. Having a Japanese-style room was convenient because you could spread out your luggage freely. No non smoking rooms, went to smoking room, it was ok, room size was ok, bathroom was small but ok. You can have a free drink downstairs at a fixed time in the evening, which is quite interesting.
I stayed here on a business trip. They had happy hour until 8pm and offered free alcohol. I was also happy that they had a hot spring!

I came back because I had a good time there before. The service is good and the breakfast in particular is the best. I'll come again if I have the opportunity.
First of all, there's a large public bath, breakfast is included, and the price is very reasonable. We had a relaxing time as a couple, so we'd like to use it again. I wish the changing rooms were cleaned more frequently.
It's close to the road so the noise makes it hard to sleep.
Everything is great. I want to make this my regular place to stay in Hamamatsu ^_^
I like to stay at Route Inn business hotels whenever possible because the breakfast and the large public bath are attractive. On this day, the restaurant only offered take-out in the evening, which was a bit disappointing, but since it is near the interchange, there are plenty of restaurants nearby, so I was able to spend the night without any problems. I went to Hama Sushi, which is right next door...
Although it is artificial, there is a hot spring, which I used that day and the next morning. It was nice that the amenities were also installed. I still want to use it.

All things are included in this hotel. I will definitely come back again when traveling Shizuoka.
Our stay at Hotel Leon was more pleasant than we expected. However there was a particular area that puts us slightly off. The room is cooled via central AC, which normally isn't a problem. However, we can only set the fan speed but not the temperature. That is potentially a problem, more so because the windows are locked and can't be opened. When we went to bed on a early-Nov Autumn night, the room...
The room rate of over 400 yuan is quite good. My wife and I stayed here this time, and she was very satisfied. The lobby has a variety of drinks available, which is great. The Halloween decorations are very festive. There is a comic book area and massage chairs on the second floor. Highly recommended.
Fresh nice hotel at a convenient location.
The room is very smelly with cigarettes smell even though I've sprayed the air fresher many times. The hotel seems a bit old, and I felt the bathtub is smaller compared to others which around the same range. The lobby is nice but the room seems the opposite. The access from the station was good too.

I stayed here when a friend came to visit. The overall experience was well received. The breakfast in particular seemed to be satisfactory.
We managed to make a reservation at this hotel when it was busy. Still, the facilities were good, the staff were cheerful, and they were very kind to us who are not used to business hotels. The breakfast is also consistent with Route Inn. I would like to stay here again!
I used it at work. The hall is very clean and clean. I didn't use the large communal bath, but when I went to see it, it was well thought out and I liked it. When I left something in my room and was wondering whether to go back to pick it up, I called and mailed it to my house. It was a wonderful hospitality. Thank you very much.

As expected from Harvest! I had a great stay at Harvest in Tanabe, so I chose this one this time. The hotel feels a bit old, but it has been renovated and the room was comfortable. The poor service at the front desk was the reason I lowered my score, but the food was delicious and the staff at the buffet venue were very kind, so it was a shame.
It has the most spacious rooms I have ever seen in a Japanese hotel. The lake view is stunning. The breakfast buffet was comprehensive, with nice extras such as freshly squeezed mandarin juice, espresso coffee machine, ice cream etc
We spent a week here. Our room had two western style double beds which were very comfortable. Our room looked out onto the lake. Our dining area was Japanese style with two small futon, a low table and cushions to sit on the floor. That worked for me but not my 6' 1" companion. We moved the futons against the wall and piled the cushions on his futon to make it higher. Used the wall as back support...

Pleasant surprise. This little business hotel is hard to beat priced and so tidy like I'd expect from Japan.
