Easily accessible by car. Nice view next to the lake. Got an upgrade room to the suite. Super spacious and quiet. Free alcohol and other drinks in the fridge. Free lounge on the 13th floor. Breakfast was buffet style.
Everything was great for the stay.
Serenity found! 🌊🏨 Grand Mercure Lake Hamana Resort & Spa is like a tranquil oasis. Stunning lake views, relaxing onsen, and excellent service make it a perfect escape. Whether you're seeking relaxation or adventure, this resort has it all 👍
If you do not have a car it is not the best location however if you just want to live in peace it may be a perfect place. The nearest convenience store is about 18 minutes by walking. The nearest bus stop to the HUGE Aeon mall is about 15 minutes walking. Take bus number 20. About $2usd The hotel does offer a free shuttle FROM THE SOUTH SIDE EXIT and the maisaka train station has a city bus stop...
Decent place. Has shuttle buses to bring you to Maisaka JR station South exit. See picture for the schedule but please confirm with hotel when you check in. The room was large but the toilet was small. Bath tub for bathing for soaking is deep enough but not very big. It has a nice gift shop which opens only from 430pm to 9pm. Get some local produce as gifts. You can also seek gift shop staff to help...
Excellent views, quiet place, good size rooms for Japan.
(Addition 1) Daiwa Royal Hotel is a nationwide hotel operated by Daiwa House. Nowadays, well-funded manufacturers are developing hotel chains, but it is a long-established chain of resort hotels. The room is both for members and for general sale. The hotels are located in good places all over the country, especially Mt. Bandai and Mt. Oyama. Lake Hamana was also a scenic spot, but I visited because...

Super views from the 42nd floor. Gets better as the night draws in and the city lights come on. Location is very convenient being right next to the train station and close to lots of eateries.
Staff were polite and helpful but just that, would’ve liked a bit more friendliness. They knew it was our anniversary but not one congratulated us.
Overall we love this hotel especially with its music theme...
Stayed here for a quick business trip and it was a great choice. The location is the biggest plus—it's directly connected to JR Hamamatsu Station, so getting to my meetings was super easy, even with luggage.
The room was quiet, clean, and had a decent desk to get some work done. Being in the tallest building in the city, the view from my room was a great bonus to unwind after a long day. The Wi-Fi...
One of the best hotels I experienced in the japan, the stuff are so professional and the the view from the room are so amazing, especially for this price.
One of the best hotels in Hamamatsu. I'll definitely stay here again.
The whole experience was comfortable, clean and quiet. The room was spacious enough for my family, as there were 3 of us. The buffet breakfast had a wide range of food. Location was well situated as it's within walking distance to the train station.
Cool hotel in Hamamatsu, music hotel, delicious breakfasts. Lots of restaurants. Large, stylish rooms with a view of the entire city. I strongly recommend. Wi-Fi is good.

It was very clean and the service was good
We had a wonderful trip. The hotel's location was perfect and convenient. The rooms were very comfortable and spacious, and the hotel itself was beautiful. The breakfast and dinner were delicious, which we greatly appreciated. It was truly great value for money, and my friend and I had a comfortable night's rest. We will definitely choose this hotel again next time we come.
I had read in a review that the exterior of the hotel was old, so I was prepared for that, and I wasn't particularly surprised. The lounge in the lobby was stylish and had a resort hotel feel. The room seemed to have been renovated, and was a beautiful Japanese-Western style room with a lake view. Having a Japanese-style room was convenient because you could spread out your luggage freely. The toilet...
big hotel with separated spa to use, dinner and breakfast included the fee. Nice and helpful customer service
3 star hotel. Has a membership option. Bath was newly renovated, food reasonable. has a nice pool not to big though, during summer till August 31st.
They have a room for up to 4 people. There is a pool (summer only) and several tennis courts, in addition to a small game arcade and a table tennis table. I guess most rooms have a good view of the lake.

I stayed here with my family while I was pregnant and visiting my parents' home! It was very reasonable for a family stay and the food was delicious. I would like to stay here again when I visit my parents' home.
I thought it was a little expensive, but the room was spacious and the food was delicious, so I was very satisfied. I definitely think it was worth more than the price. I would like to use it again if I go to Lake Hamana.
The room, bath, and food were all great! We were able to relax as a family of three. The private open-air bath was also nice. It's also in a very convenient location as a base for sightseeing. It's a place I'd like to come back to again 🙆
The room was spacious and clean, and the food was satisfactory in both quality and quantity. The outdoor portion of the large communal bath is small, and it is difficult to use when it is crowded. It is not a hot spring, but the private bath was good. One reservation site displays it as "high class", but... There was no greeting or farewell, and the sloppy way the food was served and the dishes were...
A great experience, a room with a great view, a panoramic view of Lake Hamana, and the Ferris wheel and cable car nearby. As soon as you get to the check-in floor, you will be filled with the aroma of tatami. If you can't go to the hot spring public pool, you can also book a semi-open-air family bath, which is a top-notch experience. The hotel service staff are very considerate and considerate. The...
Our 3 nights spent at this ryokan was comfortable even though the property is a but dated. The staff were most helpful and attentive. Kuwaba san helped me to locate my bag that i had left behind at the car rental agency. When he overheard that it was our wedding anniversary, he took the initiative to take a photo and present us with a nice momento. The food was excellent - always fresh, delicious...

I had booked a smoking room, but the hotel suggested I change to a non-smoking room as they had one available.
Great view and room is VIP as this price is too cheap ❤️ i will come again
I was very happy that everyone at the hotel was so courteous. The best thing about staying here is that it was relaxing. ❤️❤️
Hotel Location: Not hard to find.
Breakfast: Not very varied. Not crowded.
Staff Service: Friendly.
Facilities: A bit old.
The room is very spacious and there is a large parking lot with free parking. It takes 10 minutes to drive to eat near Dengcheng. The facilities are older, but the room is clean
Pool and Fitness is just open for members. Closed for hotel guests. Next to that clean and friendly.

I have booked twice in this hotel, it never disappoints. The staffs are good in english and very welcoming. Helpful. The room is the cleanest room in all of the hotels that I’ve stayed in.
The hotel was great, a really good base for autumn leaf viewing. It was a bit of a drive from Nagoya, which took a while, but it made setting off to see the autumn leaves the next day super convenient and comfortable.
The hotel is right inside Toyohashi Station, and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast, in particular, was absolutely amazing!
Nice location for a travelers that will use to transport by train.
Facilities: Excellent facilities.
Hygiene: Good hygiene, with a spacious bathroom.
Environment: Elegant and comfortable surroundings.
Service: The service attitude was quite good.
The hotel is located right above the JR station. Downstairs, you'll find Matsumoto Kiyoshi drug store and Seijo Ishii.
This hotel is directly connected to the JR station, making it incredibly convenient to get to the guest rooms. Plus, there's a FamilyMart and a relatively larger convenience store right inside the station.
While Google lists it as a 3-star hotel, it's rated as 5-diamond on Ctrip. Objectively speaking, it's much better than other 3-star hotels in terms of both room size and facilities. The TV is large...

We went to Nagoya for my grandson's Shichigosan ceremony, and since it would be too much of a day trip, we stayed overnight.
Perhaps because we checked in on a Sunday, the hotel was very empty, and it was quiet and relaxing everywhere. I asked if the cancellations were due to inbound tourists, which is a current issue, and was told that the hotel generally does not accept reservations from inbound...
Nice SPA, not crowded in the off season. Good for families who look for quiet places and SPA. I will come back again.
No designated smoking area, smokers in the lobby ruined my experience. Otherwise, a nice hotel
