The hotel is right next to the Banwei Plateau Ski Resort, a ski in and out ski resort. There are many restaurants and bars near the hotel, which is very suitable for friends or families to come and play. There are also parking spaces outside the hotel for self-driving people, which is also very convenient for self-driving tours.

Stayed here for three days for skiing. The hotel facilities are old and the rooms are not big, but the ski resort is good.

This place is fantastic for skiing at Madarao Mountain! It's right on top of the mountain, so you wake up to the beautiful view and ski down first thing in the morning. The room view is also amazing!

Active life is well situated a short walk to the slopes and the bars and restaurants of Madarao. The standout is the experience that Lisa and her team create. It's a homely place with good size rooms and amenities where you are made to feel extremely welcome and nothing is too much trouble. Beautiful location, in summer full of insects and tree frogs. The owner and her family were really friendly and helpful, and spoke good English - plus showed us around the vegetable garden! Rooms are comfy, there's a nice onsen and the wi-fi is better than most in the cities. Highly recommended.

The breakfast is average, the staff is polite, there are few parking spaces, and there is ski equipment rental next to it. It is half the level of the ski resort, but the ski equipment is slightly worn.

The location is acceptable, 3-4 minutes' walk from the bus station and 2.1km from Tokari Nozawa Train Station. The distance to the ski resort is about 500m. It will feel a little far when you carry your equipment. The facilities in the hotel are complete and new, and the mountain view outside the window is great.

The view is good and the room is spacious. The dinner was also delicious. In the summer, there are many walking insects and it is recommended to keep the windows closed. The effect of air conditioning was not good.

I was able to do a lot of activities including skiing, the food at the inn was very delicious, and the staff were very kind, so I had a good time.

I forgot to add breakfast, so I stayed overnight without meals, but there was a convenience store nearby that sold bread, instant ramen, and alcohol, and you could eat in the common room, so it would be nice to stay with a group 😆🎵🎵 It's a shame that the toilets are shared, but I'm happy with mountain huts, so being able to go to the hot springs for this price was great (lol)
