Very good breakfast and delicious dinner. The scenery is good but location is a bit remote and far from town. It is a quiet place and can ski in and out. Friendly hosts and arrange free shuttle from nearby station.

Delicious meals and friendly hospitality. They really work hard to give you an enjoyable stay. The onsen is a comfortable temperature and the water makes your skin feel soft. Highly recommended!

Beautiful location, in summer full of insects and tree frogs. The owner and her family were really friendly and helpful, and spoke good English - plus showed us around the vegetable garden! Rooms are comfy, there's a nice onsen and the wi-fi is better than most in the cities. Highly recommended.

Friendly services operated by a good family 

The location is acceptable, 3-4 minutes' walk from the bus station and 2.1km from Tokari Nozawa Train Station. The distance to the ski resort is about 500m. It will feel a little far when you carry your equipment. The facilities in the hotel are complete and new, and the mountain view outside the window is great.

The view is good and the room is spacious. The dinner was also delicious. In the summer, there are many walking insects and it is recommended to keep the windows closed. The effect of air conditioning was not good.

I was able to do a lot of activities including skiing, the food at the inn was very delicious, and the staff were very kind, so I had a good time.

It's in a very convenient place and it's a very great value for the price

We stayed here for 4 nights and skiied at Togari and Nozawa while staying here. The breakfast and dinner meals were delicious and varied each day. They provided gluten free bread at breakfast on request. The onsen was nice and hot - great for after being on the slopes.

I forgot to add breakfast, so I stayed overnight without meals, but there was a convenience store nearby that sold bread, instant ramen, and alcohol, and you could eat in the common room, so it would be nice to stay with a group 😆🎵🎵 It's a shame that the toilets are shared, but I'm happy with mountain huts, so being able to go to the hot springs for this price was great (lol)

The hotel is close to the Banwei Plateau Ski Resort. The breakfast and dinner are also very delicious. They are cooked by the hotel couple and it feels like home.

Food was really good. It was a buffet so quantity was no issue. The hot water bath was amazing with sauna room. The rooms were not top notch per se, but had everything one could ask for. This hotel is perfectly located for the bus from Iiyama, access to Hikage, local onsens and all the restaurants. The lovely people who run the hotel are very helpful and friendly. Whilst it is an older building ithe rooms are spotlessly clean, comfortable and spacious. Good wifi, great breakfast and very quiet.

Our hosts were very considerate and obliging. They were able to assist us with ski tickets. The premises were warm. The beds were very comfortable. The breakfeasts were generous, tasty and hearty. A cosy and friendly place to stay! Gasthof Schi Heil is right in the centre of town and a close walk to convenience stores, restaurants, cafes and the base of the mountain. The best thing about this place is its location, very close to the Nagasaka gondola lift and main ticket office. I also like the fact that I could rent my ski equipment right from the hotel, and stow the rentals onsite at a designated area. We loved our stay at Wafu Pension MIYAZAWA! The staff were super friendly and helpful, great breakfast and dinner options, ski/board gear hire, easy 3 min walk to main gondola, cozy rooms and everything you need for a snow holiday in a traditional guest house setting!

The hotel is right next to the Banwei Plateau Ski Resort, a ski in and out ski resort. There are many restaurants and bars near the hotel, which is very suitable for friends or families to come and play. There are also parking spaces outside the hotel for self-driving people, which is also very convenient for self-driving tours.

This place is fantastic for skiing at Madarao Mountain! It's right on top of the mountain, so you wake up to the beautiful view and ski down first thing in the morning. The room view is also amazing!
