Kanazawa, 1-6-1 Kitayasue (45 min from centre) 🧭 Map
I always feel safe at Manten. The bath, sauna, convenient transportation, and breakfast with a choice of Japanese or Western are all very satisfying. I will definitely use their services again.
It is connected to the railway station, just a few minutes walk from it. The breakfast is also very nice with both western and Japanese food available. I will choose it again next time
The rooms are tiny. Breakfast is the same and never changes. We asked for a thick layer of dust to be removed, but no one has done so in four days.
This was my first time traveling to Kanazawa, so I was a little nervous, but this was a fantastic place to stay. The staff were friendly, and the accommodations seemed clean and well-maintained
Convenient transportation, close to the station, abundant breakfast, free ramen every night 🍜, tastes good, and soaking in the hot spring is comfortable.
The breakfast was great, and the large bath was fantastic. Next time I visit Kanazawa, I'll definitely book at the Manten Hotel again
Kanazawa, 1-5-24 Katamachi (60 min from centre) 🧭 Map
It was clean and nice, and it had a hot spring and sauna.
It also has a spa, making it a very satisfying hotel! It's in a very luxurious location! The 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art and Kenrokuen Garden are within walking distance!
It was a 4-day, 3-night trip and it was a very pleasant one. Thank you very much.
The room was a little small, but everything I needed was compactly packed. The lockers in the changing room at the large bath were small, so it was difficult to get changed when it was crowded
Kanazawa, 1-9-28 Hirooka (45 min from centre) 🧭 Map
The room is still very small, but I think it's more than enough if you just want to sleep
Great Onsen and confortable bedding
It was very good. I was particularly satisfied with the variety of breakfast options. I would like to use this hotel again in the future. This time I stayed for work, but next time I would like to stay for personal use.
It's very convenient because it's next to the station. There is also a large public bath, so I think it's good value for money. There are also many amenities, and I was grateful that they gave me new towels every day
It was my first time staying here, but the large public bath was great.
Overall, it was well-equipped with everything I really needed. It was also very close to the station and right below it was centrally located with all the transportation options.
This hotel is super convenient, just a short walk from the West Exit of Kanazawa Station, right next to the Hyatt. Compared to other Daiwa hotels, the decor here is much more refined, and the room was quite spacious
The hotel is just a few meters away from the shopping mall, train station, and bus station, making it a convenient location for travelers. I would recommend staying at this hotel as it’s convenient and budget friendly
Additional amenities, including coffee drip bags and teabags, are available for free at the lobby’s amenities kiosk. Rooms: The spacious rooms offer ample space for luggage, with separate wet and dry bathrooms
It’s conveniently located next to Hyatt Centric, and a short stroll takes you to Omicho Market for fresh seafood. Facilities: The hotel boasts a public bath, a welcome addition during the cold winter months
The hotel's location is great, about a five-minute walk to the station. The room size was very satisfactory, and the bathroom had a clear dry/wet separation and was spacious and easy to use.
An excellent hotel rather near the Kanazawa Train Station. There are also some good Japanese restaurants opposite the hotel. The room is spacious, contemporary with Japanese flavour
Kanazawa, 2-25 Horikawashinmachi, 920-0849 Kanadzava, Prefektura Isikava, Yaponiya (45 min from centre) 🧭 Map
Great! The breakfast was abundant, and the surrounding area had all the amenities one could need. Getting around was very convenient. I'll definitely come back next time.
Always been a big fan of the Dormy Inn chain, guaranteed a nice onsen and delicious supper and breakfast. Checking in and out is a breeze
Best location - right next to malls and train station is few minutes away. cozy room and bed. Hot spring is wonderful with sauna too!
very close to the JR station, the temperature of Sauna is really good, the optional breakfast i will think it's not necessary
Great location, close to the station, making it very convenient for getting around. They have a hot spring bath on the rooftop, complete with free ice cream and Yakult. Plus, there's complimentary soba noodles at 9:30 PM
This hotel is located steps away from the JR station as well as bus terminal, very easy to hop on a bus to tour the city
Kanazawa, 22-5 Showa-machi (45 min from centre) 🧭 Map
I stayed here for two nights during the Kanazawa Marathon. Breakfast and hot springs were included. It was close to the station, the room was well-cleaned, and I was able to relax. The hot spring was also spacious enough
15-20 mins walk away from Higashi Chaya, there’s a bus-stop just 2mins walk away from the hotel, with buses going to tourist attractions area. Room was adequate size for, always clean. Service of the staff was excellent
Convenient transportation, turn right from Kanazawa Station Kenrokuen Exit and walk 400m. There is a large hot spring bath on the roof, and you can also see Kanazawa Castle from a distance
This price, location, and specifications are very cost-effective. This is my fourth time in Kanazawa. It is a place where I can stay for a few more days to avoid the crowds
There is a public bath area but I didn't have time to use it, which is a bit regrettable. The breakfast is rich enough, but it is a bit regrettable that there is no fruit
I think it's a good business hotel in a regional city. It's close to the station, has basic facilities, and the breakfast is satisfactory
Kanazawa, Kamitsutsumicyo 1-22, 105-0021 Kanadzava, Prefektura Isikava, Yaponiya (60 min from centre) 🧭 Map
There is the most wonderful scent when you first walk in the door. The public bath is fabulous, if a bit hot for my liking. Rooms are spacious and comfortable
Mitsui Garden always be my first hotel when I explore the new region in Japan. Location is a bit outside the main central city, in walking distance
The biggest surprise was the hot spring bath area on the top floor; soaking in the springs while enjoying the view outside the window was an incredible experience. Overall, my stay was fantastic!
The room was spacious to open 2 luggages and was clean. There was a tub in the toilet which was large. The main selling point of this hotel was the amazing breakfast
The buffet spread was abundant and had many options, and the view of the snow out the window as we ate was definitely one of the highlights of our trip
The hotel servicer can easily communicate with English, understand customer needs, that's super nice
Kanazawa, 2-5 Takaokamachi (60 min from centre) 🧭 Map
Perfectly good hotel It is a bit far from the station but definitely recommended if you are going to Omicho market or Kenrokuen
The room is very clean and the space is quite large compared to other Japan hotels. Really enjoyed the staying here!
The staff was very nice, very helpful and good English, spacious room, clean and great amenities, near Kanazawa Castle, traditional Omachi market, very close to Kanazawa Station (walking around 20-30 minutes)(public transport starting operation 7 30 in the morning) and near to public bath house (Onsen), will return to stay next time
It’s not at the train station. Would need to use the bus or taxi, though it’s not too difficult. There are many bus lines go through the nearby stop. It’s a walking distance to 近江町市場, a famous seafood market.
It is especially surprising that wine from 5pm to 7pm is a free drink. In addition, there are also snacks such as chocolate. ◼️ Good Points -There is a USB charging port and a power outlet on the table next to the bed
The staff were friendly and provided great service; they kindly kept our luggage safe even after we checked out, allowing us to enjoy another half day exploring Kanazawa before leaving this beautiful city
Kanazawa, 2-12-1 Honmachi (45 min from centre) 🧭 Map
I extremely do recommend it for a short stay in Kanazawa, according to value/price ratio
Super super super nice breakfast. The receptionists all can speak very good English
It was a nice stay with luck as we enjoying snowy in Kanazawa. The hotel is very close to the JR station and shopping centre which is within 15 mins pleasant walk around. It is clean and tidy with good services
One of their friendly front desk staff actually helped me contact and reach out to help me get my device back - she was incredibly patient and went the mile to try and communicate and assure me that it will be alright, as she has managed to arrange to have it picked up and delivered to the hotel
Not far from Kanazawa Station, just a three to five-minute walk around the corner, making it a quiet spot amidst the hustle and bustle. The interior is very nice, and there's also a hot spring bath
I booked a room with breakfast included, and it was incredibly lavish, with fresh ingredients and delicious flavors. I hope to stay here again the next time I visit Kanazawa
Kanazawa, 10 Shimotsutsumicho, 920-0917 Kanadzava, Prefektura Isikava, Yaponiya (60 min from centre) 🧭 Map
The Square hotel Kanazawa was our favourite hotel in Japan so far. 15 minutes walk from Kanazawa Starion and in a great location for our short stay in Kanazawa (we now wish we had booked longer)
The hotel is clean and tidy, and there's a hot spring bath on the top floor. It's located near Omicho Market. I booked early and got a triple room for less than 300 per night, which was excellent value for money
Best was the receptionist! A young and very professional gentleman that helped us with everything along our stay, he normally works in Kyoto but came for a week to the hotel in kanazawa
Hope to see you at the hotel insomnia KYOTO next time we pass through. Highly recommend this hotel!
Some weights at the gym would have been the cherry on top of the cake :)
We walked everywhere, including to the old Samurai district. 3 single beds, 2 were on a platform so that added a bit of Japanese authenticity (a bit)
Lovely staff, public bath had tatto restrictions but that’s ok, room bath was really good. I will stay here again when I come back
Kanazawa, 2-13-27 Hirooka (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
It features a modern design, and the rooms are quite spacious with comfortable mattresses, easily accommodating two open 28-inch suitcases. The bathroom has a practical wet/dry separation and is impeccably clean
This hotel offers great value for money, even though it was slightly overpriced due to Japan's spring break. I especially loved the hotel's large public bath; it was so relaxing and washed away all the fatigue
It's genuinely very close to Kinshicho Station. The room was a bit small, but having a 7-Eleven downstairs was convenient for buying things. The hotel has a large public bath, which was nice for a soak
The only thing I can pick on is the room design that puts the washing basin outside as it takes away quite some usable space for the luggage when the room itself is quite spacious
The breakfast was also good, but since there were many tour groups, we sometimes had to wait for a table in the morning. It's an 8-minute walk from Kanazawa Station West Exit
The area isn't very lively; if you prefer a more vibrant atmosphere, I'd recommend staying near the East Exit
Kanazawa, 6-3 Marunouchi, Kanazawa-shi (60 min from centre) 🧭 Map
The hotel is very thoughtful and generous in providing free ice cream treats after onsen, and onsen bath powder set for customers taking green measures (not requiring cleaning and change of bedsheet every day)
The room was quite spacious, but the bathroom was tiny. The hot spring bath was a definite highlight, and the Japanese breakfast options were good. Plus, the location is very convenient, right next to Kenroku-en Garden.
Very high quality, comfortable, and beautiful hotel at reasonable price. Its location by the castle makes it very convenient for exploring the castle and Kenrokuen on snowy days
Its Kaga Ryori dining is exquisite and value for money! The hotel shop has a very good selection of products at reasonable prices. The onsen has cold and hot bath, as well as a sauna with TV
Both the room and the lobby were clean.
There was live music playing in the lobby at night, which made for a very pleasant stay.
The large communal bath came with a sauna and a cold bath, which I was very satisfied with.
Located in the historic center, all the sights are easily accessible. a strange combination of an old hotel with a 60s-80s style and a modern renovation
Kanazawa, 2 33 Kamitsutsumicho (60 min from centre) 🧭 Map
Amazing stay, it's located a short walk away from the main attractions of the city. The pod was clean equipped with a tv. I didn't even notice that there was a sauna and hot spring included in the price
Staff is very friendly, everything is super clean. Pods are comfy and have enough space to organize your stuff.
Very close to some of the main attractions like Kanazawa Castle, Oayama Shrine, and Nagamachi district.
A fantastic hotel with great value for money. I'd definitely stay here again. Omi-cho Market is just a 300-meter walk away, and it's also not far from the station, making it incredibly convenient for getting around.
Perfect accommodation!!
I arrived and the staff explain it clearly, and very helpfull. The pod is nice, for me it's quite spacious. If you have a big luggage they have some section to put it in the share room
Shower room and spa located in the B1F, I did the spa, and it's only me, maybe that was awesome quite time
very clean and comfortable pod for good sleep. valueable stay in Japan. it is good for budget traveller.
The breakfast was delicious and had many food varieties to choose from. Although the location is not close to any public transport, the hotel offers free shuttle bus to and from the Kanazawa station every 30 minutes
The staff were very friendly and helpful. There are many facilities including laundry room, lounge area (with tea and coffee provided), massage chairs and public spa bath; all of which do not require extra charges)
Comfortable with sufficient space.
Highly appreciate POLA amenities including face lotion and cream.
Very nice breakfast with great variety (western and Japanese style) including ice-cream and kids corner.
There are many free shuttle buses to Kanazawa Station, which was very convenient for dinner. The room was clean, there was parking, and it had a very calm atmosphere even though it was in the city.
It was a very clean, nice hotel with plenty of amenities and good service. If only the bath was a little bigger, I'd have no complaints.
I'd like to go again.
Before my trip, I tossed and turned between several well-rated hotels. My biggest concern was that they seemed a bit far from Kanazawa Station and were practically on the other side of the main attractions
Kanazawa, 152-7 Nishishinmachi (9 km from centre) 🧭 Map
Helpful service. Very comfortable room abs comfortable bed. Excellent breakfast with a wide selection of items.
I'll be back for sure.
The photo is of the annex single room. The room is large and the desk is large (long) and it is easy to work. The rooms are old, but I don't mind. It also has a large public bath
In the case of heavy snow, you don't have to shovel snow in the morning, which is helpful. If you use the exit from the main building to the back side, it is immediately
On the second night, we parked in the station parking lot in front of the hotel (due to a snowstorm), but if you give the hotel a parking ticket, it costs 500 yen
Reasonable price, clean room, and good onsen. Only bad point is that the hotel is bit far from the kanazawa city.
Izakaya 🍺 and Chinese restaurants can also be reached immediately. Recommended if you want to use it for work
Kanazawa, 2-2-23 Hashibacho, 920-0911 Kanadzava, Prefektura Isikava, Yaponiya (60 min from centre) 🧭 Map
Truly remarkable. The wonderful staff provided a level of care, attention, and kindness I have never received before. Stay here if you ever have the opportunity.
Simply beautiful Japanese ryokan, with amazing service and food.
Traditional stay in beautiful room & hotel. As non Japanese speakers the staff tried really hard with Google translate to communicate with us which was appreciated. Food was delicious & different each day
If you’re someone who needs their comforts and western familiarities this may not be the place for you. But if you like adventure and get real joy out of authentic experiences, I highly recommend
The food is authentic Japanese and our group loved trying flavors and items we’d never imagined trying before. The baths here are so deep and soothing at night
The whole stay is an authentic experience that I enjoyed so much. The rooms are simple, yet felt so fun to be in an adventure
Kanazawa, 1-2-44 Katamachi,Kanazawa-shi 920-0981,Ishikawa,JP (60 min from centre) 🧭 Map
I stayed for one night with breakfast included. The room was clean and I had a good night's sleep. The breakfast was delicious and I even had seconds, which was unusual for me.
Good room with hot water shower and cool air conditioner. Comfortable stay with good buffet breakfast. Location is convenient.
It was a little far from the station, but it was easy to get to by bus. There were also many restaurants nearby that were open late at night, which was helpful for me as I arrived late at night on a business trip.
The location was great, with Kenrokuen Garden and the museum nearby.
I would have liked there to be more desserts at the breakfast buffet.
There was a wait time for the large public bath to be replaced, so I took a shower in my room first and then went to the large public bath when it was time, but bath towels and face towels were not provided, so you had to bring them from your room
Because it was a corner room, the hotel sign was right next to the window, illuminating the room with bright neon lights, making it difficult to sleep without an eye mask. There was only one front desk staff member
Kanazawa, Chi 95, Fukatanimachi (8 km from centre) 🧭 Map
The meals are VERY traditional, so if you are not prepared to be adventurous (raw whole baby squid, natto, a lot of sashimi, and boba-sized fish eggs) I would recommend not purchasing the meals, as it is rude to not complete them and they cannot accomodate menu changes
No clothing allowed and you need to wash thoroughly before getting in the water (the showers are IN the spa room). The water is full of naturally occurring minerals but has no odor. The onsen has a very old history
This historic place is filled with tasteful artworks and artefacts, giving delightful surprise at every corner. There are also many cozy and lovely spaces for individual, couple or small group enjoyment
This place is huge, I felt like if I was in Spirited Away. The hotel and rooms are spacious. The service is very helpful and dedicated. I think the onsen is ferruginous as the water is reddish
Even without a performance this time, tasting the duck broth, while watching the fish grill against a snowing background is still very enjoyable. Feel so grateful throughout the meals
The best Ryokan breakfast and dinner we've had. The dining setting stunning, which is facing the Noh Theatre! Should time our next visit when there is a performance
Kanazawa, 7-1 Kiyokawa-machi (5 km from centre) 🧭 Map
The location is away from the central area of the city, along the river in a fairly quiet part of town. It was a nice and easy walk to the main attractions (like 25 minutes to the castle) or a quick cab ride
Overall is clean and convenient. The public onsen is very basic and without much amenities. The room is spacious.
We had kimonos, socks and shoes in room and traditional sweets in room everyday with an explanation of their origin. Would recommend the teahouse evening with tea house tour. Walking takes 30 mins to castle and centre
Excellent accommodation
Wonderful location for a true ryokan experience. Close to the center of Kanazawa. Very nice bathing area.
The hotel looks old on the outside, but once inside it is very spacious, comfortable and spotless. Kenrokuen Garden, Kanazawa Castle and the 21st Century Museum of Art are also within a 20-minute walk
We had an amazing time at this Ryokan - traditional Japanses hotel. We had a junior suite, so spacious, itcwas so relaxing. Buffet breakfast, good selection was included
Many shops, large dinner area, Bingo and Live performances throughout the week. On 3rd floor : Traditional Hot Spring, Children Play area Smoking Boxes, Lounge/Sleep area and 500 yen Fish Pedicure.
Good price, many option for Onsen, but not allow people with tattoos
The hotel was great and I would like to come back again.
部屋着が明るい色だといいな❗
It's a big complex, attached to a hotel. It's got everything you need, plus things I didn't need - like a pachinko area. It's also a bit dated. But overall it was fine for a wash after cycling into Kanazawa
