Prime location in high end shopping area. A bit far from kanazawa station for walking, short ride by bus or taxi preferred. Rooms are well equipped with humidifiers, tv, mini fridge and your own water pot

The only downside is the poor soundproofing. Unfortunately, I ended up in a noisy room next door. It was noisy around 11 PM and again before 6 AM. It's rare to encounter something like this in Japan

The Square hotel Kanazawa was our favourite hotel in Japan so far. 15 minutes walk from Kanazawa Starion and in a great location for our short stay in Kanazawa (we now wish we had booked longer)

The Onsen is rather small but sufficient as the turnover rate is pretty high since there is not much spaceto loiter or space out. The Japanese breakfast is sumptuous and pretty good variety

What I was most thrilled about was the wardrobe that sterilizes and de-wrinkles clothes – so convenient for travelers! It is very convenient to take a JR West one-day trip to Gassho Village, Shirakawa Township, Takayama Hida. Breakfast is served in the restaurant attached to the hotel. The dishes are very rich and highly recommended
