Kazueya in Kanazawa

Great stay in an amazing location! Very spacious home! Not for anyone with mobility issues as the bedroom is up stairs. Everything is very walkable from here and the host make check in very smooth at the main hotel and then get you a taxi to the house. A perfect place to stay in Kanazawa and we would definitely stay there if we are in town again!

Incredible is the word that springs to mind this place is a dream. Tucked down a historic little back street this place made us fall in love with japan. It has everything a traditional Japanese house has and more in character. The staff at the hotel that run this little house were amazing from the moment we walked in. They stored our baggage for the day before we could check in and even gave us a free taxi from the hotel we're you check in to the house itself. The house is also a very short walking distance from many places to eat and drink. We absolutely loved our stay and would highly recommend this if you are looking for a true Japan experience!

I have zero complaints! The staff were amazing, the property and area it's in were beautiful, and overall it really made our stay in Kanazawa special. I highly recommend this place. Just be warned that if you have any mobility issues, the stairs going upstairs are very steep.

Such an incredible stay. Very comfortable and spacious, and the location could not be more amazing. Highly recommend. One note: the stairs in the house are very steep and might be a challenge for older guests and young children.

The house is absolutely amazing and is located in a lovely district (in fact, my favourite district in Kanazawa)
The staff is very friendly too. I hope to come back one day.

We love our stay at Kazueya! It gave us a chance to truly experience the ryokan and how locals live. We especially enjoyed the peaceful night in our surroundings :)

In addition, one of the staffs (a young lady) at Pacific hotel was super helpful. Due to the language barrier, she helped me to get bus tickets to shirakawago and to Takayama. I can't thank her enough for that!

Overall, we are very satisfied with our stay and I've already rated Kazueya 5 stars on *******!

Stayed for 4 nights in Kazueya. The house was managed by Hotel Pacific Kanazawa. The team was absolutely fantastic, helpful and professional! We really had a fantastic stay in Kazueya! It’s really very traditional, charming and lovely Japanese garden. We have the whole house for ourselves (me and my partner). So quiet at night. The area is very charming and close to the river. We were lucky to witness the Sakura (cherry blossom) tree in full bloom in April. The bedroom was upstairs. Just have to be careful with narrow stairs. Kitchen and bathroom/toilet downstairs. We eat out everyday. We only use the kitchen to make green tea. Teapot was provided. Thank you again to Hotel Pacific Kanazawa team.

The location is wonderful, at the side of a beautiful river and in a walking distance to the famous historic streets where you can hang out in the beautiful tranditional houses and shops. The property is new, modern and comfortable though it looks old and traditional from outside. The staff is thoughtful, keep sending you detailed information on check in, transportation, stay etc. Overall, a pleasant stay in Kazueya, thank you.
