The location was very close the hirano beach where you can get a good view of mount fuji during sunrise.
The only gripe was that during winter there is only 1 shared bathroom which means males and females have allocated shower times.
The host were very friendly.

This place is very close to Hirano Beach, and there's a bus stop and a 7-Eleven just a few minutes' walk away. The room was clean and tidy, bigger than it looked in the pictures, and the heating was excellent. The shared bathrooms and toilets were also clean. However, there was no kettle in the room; hot water was available in the first-floor restaurant, along with complimentary tea bags. I'm sensitive to cold in the mornings, so I watched the sunrise from my room window, and the golden sunlight on Mount Fuji was absolutely stunning. The elderly lady who checked us in needed a translation app to communicate, but she was very kind. The dinner prepared by the owner was incredibly delicious and satisfying! They also offer bicycle rentals for 1500 JPY per day. The bikes were easy to pedal, though not electric-assisted, and it was a great experience.

I had a very nice experience with warm welcome and nice food here. The price is not expensive when you consider you have dinner and breakfast along with you that they do provide varieties of traditional Japanese dishes to you.

I am not going to give you a very high expectation since you have to share bathroom, avoid talking loudly (easily hear others and others can hear you), have to turn the heater on to keep room warm, etc. but it is surely worth the price.

Should you have budget constraint or looking for a cheap option of traditional Japanese hostel, this is a good choice.

A pillow of soba husks and a comforter like a plump duvet are layered with synthetic blankets, so you can sleep very warmly.
Since the air conditioner and lighting are remote control type, it is very good that you do not have to bother to get up and operate.
Both dinner and breakfast are delicious and voluminous at the level where white rice advances.

It was a guest house, the room is a Japanese-style room of 6 tatami, so there are no toilets, washrooms and baths in the room as it is a guest house
