Absolutely amazing, especially for a family trip! This is definitely my kid's favorite hotel ever. The room was huge and incredibly clean. The service was impeccable, with attention to every detail – from helping with luggage the moment we arrived, it was full concierge service. The hot springs were also excellent. Highly recommend!

The hotel and rooms were exceptionally clean. The in-room amenities were complete and of high quality, and the hot springs were wonderfully relaxing with few people in the evenings. The mini-fridge was stocked with complimentary beverages, and the Kaiseki dinner was superb! The hotel is located upstream in the town, perfect for a relaxing getaway. It's an easy walk in and out if you have normal mobility, and there's a shuttle bus every 20 minutes.

Great hotel. Nice onsen facilities with a choice of rooftop location or ground floor nature garden location. The details that this hotel offers is exceptional compared to two other ones I have attended so far. The two stringed friddle with piano show at night was an extra bonus. Bottom line we love this hotel.

We took an express bus from Osaka to Arima Onsen Station. Upon arrival, the hotel shuttle was conveniently waiting right next to the station to take us to the hotel. The hotel is nestled halfway up the mountain, offering a very comfortable environment. Both the outdoor and indoor public baths feature the famous Kinsen (golden) and Ginsen (silver) hot springs. The hotel service was excellent, and the breakfast spread was abundant. We also pre-booked the Japanese-style dinner, which was delicious and highly recommended.

I booked this hotel because it was touted as one of Asia's top 100 onsen hotels for 2025. However, apart from the hot springs being decent, every other aspect of the service was a massive letdown. To begin with, both the kaiseki dinner and the breakfast the following day were truly subpar. The room was dreadfully small. Furthermore, despite inquiring about kimonos (as there were none in the room) with both the front desk manager and a server, who assured us they would send them up shortly and even took our sizes, not a single kimono materialized by the time we checked out the next day. We paid over 7,000 RMB for a family tatami room for four, including breakfast and dinner. At this price point, anyone staying here is simply getting ripped off. There will absolutely not be a second visit, and I also sensed a certain unfriendliness towards Chinese guests.

Customer service and hospitality are the best. Thank you to those who walk you to the parking lot and greet you warmly with a smile in the cold. The person who meets you at the exit on the escalator leading to the lobby is the best. I greet customers and greet them all the time, and when the people who are coming are interrupted, I feel comfortable with the customers waiting at the front desk, and even when they are greeted, talking to other people very smoothly and kindly, so that other people were very comfortable when I was looking at the correspondence. Immediately ask where the customer wants to go and give immediate directions. I have been to many different hotels and inns, but I think the staff at the Grand Hotel is the best. After walking around Arima Onsen, when I was walking up the steep slope towards the hotel, when the hotel bus just passed, I am grateful that he immediately noticed us, stopped and picked me up ... The driver was also very smiling and nice. I think this is an answer that the staff will notice right away because they are always looking around. The staff at Jibundoki (Western food) was nice too. I am glad that he taught me the recommended walk around Arima. And the hot springs and scenery were the best. I think the locker room is also very clean and always clean. It was so beautiful that it was nice to use the locker room. I definitely want to use it again! It was a really nice hotel and staff. Thank you!
